Nature’s Village Resort (NVR) is a garden paradise located in Talisay City – only 3.5km from the province’s capital, Bacolod. Set against the backdrop of Mt. Marapara, the resort offers unique accommodations where nature-lovers can bask in unspoiled beauty while remaining close to the city. At NVR, you are nestled right at the heart of business and leisure as it bridges Silay City — home to turn-of-the-century Spanish ancestral houses of Negros Island — and Bacolod City — home to the region’s colorful Masskara Festival. Nature’s Village Resort seeks to promote sustainable tourism and to educate guests to care for the environment. The Village Farm’s vegetables are used by the kitchen and served fresh to the guests. Water conservation guidelines are provided and a copy of the tourist’s guide for being a responsible traveler can be found in all hotel rooms.

The rooms were comfortable, the halls were good and the staff were coruteous. The food was also great and they served native Negrensi dishes.

The view and the lawns were great and the children who were with us enjoyed much the mini park.

We stayed here for one night during a business trip. The place seemed old and worn down already but you can see renovations and improvements have been done. Wi-Fi connection was strong enough, our room was clean, and breakfast buffet had many delicious and filling choices.

Response from NaturesVillageResort, Guest Relations Manager at Nature's Village Resort
Responded Jan 27, 2020
Dear frankn792, We are sorry to read your feedback regarding your stay with us. Though our housekeepers clean the room everyday and replenish soap and shampoo, they could not clean up a room with a Do Not Disturb sign, as we respect that guest doesnt want his/her room to be touched. We are also sorry if we might have missed to inform you that water heater is available upon request. Hot and cold water dispenser is also provided in every hotel floor that guests may replenish their water anytime. We will use your feedback to further improve our service.

I was able to experience a great swimming in a top notch pool. From entering the compound to going out 90 minutes later the staff were polite and helpful. The charges were indeed fair. I look forward to enjoying some food in the near future. The area was well kept and clean. A much above average experience in the Bacolod Area.

The "hotel", if you can call it that, is located in the middle of nowhere. An old place that needs SERIOUS remodeling and reconstruction. No elevators. And VERY hot especially in the reception area. Front desk, her nameplate says Roxanne, is rude. Smiles at you and attends to you but once your back is turned, (actually caught her several times with other guests) she makes this annoyed face and mumbles something under her breath. I've been to all kinds of hotels, pension houses but haven't encountered anything like this. The housekeeping staff was more helpful and friendly. Management needs to train their staff esp. in the front desk about basic courtesy and how to treat guests. They work in a hospitality industry for pete's sake! We've made a mistake by coming here and we're never doing it again... People beware...

Disappointing stay....

I stayed in this hotel while I'm visiting family in talisay and it was disappointing. They failed to informed us on check in that they are having a construction, the bathroom was not draining/flooded every time we took a shower.

Also I went to their restaurant for breakfast and I was ignored, but every time other guest that having a conference was greeted good morning and they hold the door for them. I was not expecting a special treatment, but I felt discreminated.

I work for one of the biggest and fastest growing International hotel chain in Europe as a Hotel Operations Manager, I certainly know what I'm talking about when it comes to customer service, but unfurtunately this hotel needs training especially when it comes to treating their guest in all walks of life fairly.

This is my second stay at the Hotel. I love that it is located just outside the city and away from the noise and mess of downtown Bacolod.

I particulary love that the hotel makes the extra effort to stay green. They are very creative reusing materials, composting, etc.

A green hotel, awesome service and great location!

If you want a relaxing place that is far from the chaos and noise of Bacolod City, Nature's Village Resort is a great place to stay in. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant serves vegetables right from their own garden. I will definitely recommend Nature's Village Resort to my friends.
