Nature’s Village Resort (NVR) is a garden paradise located in Talisay City – only 3.5km from the province’s capital, Bacolod. Set against the backdrop of Mt. Marapara, the resort offers unique accommodations where nature-lovers can bask in unspoiled beauty while remaining close to the city. At NVR, you are nestled right at the heart of business and leisure as it bridges Silay City — home to turn-of-the-century Spanish ancestral houses of Negros Island — and Bacolod City — home to the region’s colorful Masskara Festival. Nature’s Village Resort seeks to promote sustainable tourism and to educate guests to care for the environment. The Village Farm’s vegetables are used by the kitchen and served fresh to the guests. Water conservation guidelines are provided and a copy of the tourist’s guide for being a responsible traveler can be found in all hotel rooms.

The rooms were comfortable, the halls were good and the staff were coruteous. The food was also great and they served native Negrensi dishes. The view and the lawns were great and the children who were with us enjoyed much the mini park.

The check in receptionist aswell as the duty supervisor was so rude. They shouted at me.. Is that how you treat clients? Ill never recommend this resort and I will surely post a blog review about your poor service..

This is a slightly down-at-the-heel place that could benefit by a touch-up. Don't let that put you off though. This resort/hotel has some of the friendliest, politest, helpful staff that I have recently encountered. I ended up here after an absolutely dreadful experience at another Bacolod hotel, which I had fled after the 2nd night of a 7 night stay. This was a breath of fresh air. Literally. It's outside the city, about 200 meters off the highway, the grounds are covered in greenery and the air was actually clean-smelling. Which is something if you've ever been in Bacolod. It is a bit isolated, and I strongly recommend having the Grab Ride Hailing app on your phone as taxis don't patrol here, but there is a shopping center 0.3 km (easy, flat walk) away. The on-site restaurant is decent and it's incredibly quiet and peaceful. It's a favorite spot for weddings and receptions, but all was quiet every night of the 4 night stay by 2000 hours. Again, what makes this place a gem is the staff. Really, why do you stay at a hotel, and why do you return to a hotel again and again? It's not necessarily the chocolate on your pillow or the brand name. It's the STAFF that make your stay. This is a hotel where the staff will MAKE YOUR STAY (Sorry, had to go all Dirty Harry there). Really though, great value, peaceful, quiet. Recommended.

I was able to experience a great swimming in a top notch pool. From entering the compound to going out 90 minutes later the staff were polite and helpful. The charges were indeed fair. I look forward to enjoying some food in the near future. The area was well kept and clean. A much above average experience in the Bacolod Area.

Hello. I had such a beautiful 7 days stay at your Resort that I miss being there already. I’ve been to many places here and abroad for vacations but staying there has been the best ever so far! I miss our room ( 501 ) , the serene peaceful greenery, the friendly efficient staff, the yummy food. I had binakol for three consecutive days! I kept ordering it for room service because it’s perfect! I miss Flora who made our breakfast omelette just the way I wanted it cooked. I miss Kuya Bebing who was so warm and friendly as well as the other staff at the dining area. I witnessed four garden weddings from our room window during our stay and each one was beautiful with the perfect ambiance of nature. I thank God for the most beautiful gift of having Ash Wednesday mass there celebrated by Fr Jerry Orbos. It was an unbelievable experience. Who would think that we could start the Holy Week in such an extra special way ... I will give you a rating of 10! Or 5 stars for that matter 👏👏👏 I will definitely come back again and stay in your place ... To the owners , thank you for creating such a beautiful paradise in Bacolod for travelers like us. To all of you who work there, thank you for being part of the awesome team that do your part in making it a perfect place for vacations and special moments ... God bless all of you. Hanggang sa muli. Mabuhay po kayo 🙏🥰

We stayed here for one night during a business trip. The place seemed old and worn down already but you can see renovations and improvements have been done. Wi-Fi connection was strong enough, our room was clean, and breakfast buffet had many delicious and filling choices.

Response from NaturesVillageResort, Guest Relations Manager at Nature's Village Resort
Responded 27 Jan 2020
Dear frankn792, We are sorry to read your feedback regarding your stay with us. Though our housekeepers clean the room everyday and replenish soap and shampoo, they could not clean up a room with a Do Not Disturb sign, as we respect that guest doesnt want his/her room to be touched. We are also sorry if we might have missed to inform you that water heater is available upon request. Hot and cold water dispenser is also provided in every hotel floor that guests may replenish their water anytime. We will use your feedback to further improve our service.

refreshing view, courteous personnel and friendly Manager to deal with. Best place to stay esp when you want to visit Campuestohan Highlands and Ruins. Food and accommodation to your delight. Just near the airport. "Bakasyon - Travel Buddy " recommends Nature's Village Resort. My one kind of staycation too.

The services of some staff were superb with special mention to Carlo, Ian, Jenny, Loraine, and Thea. The buffet spread was fantastic even our dinner during the last night, we had sort of Mongolian Barbecue. The place is great, very accessible to transpo and Ayala Mall around 5-min walk.
