At the South Seas it's like feeling at home. The staff is amazing, Sonny, Lorie and all the staff are just human, friendly and super nice. We organized with them the transfer from Cebu airport to Santader, 4 and a half hours of travel spent in a comfortable van at a good price. The structure is very welcoming, the rooms are large and very clean. They all have an outdoor table with chairs. The property also has a swimming pool and direct access to the beach. The food is great! From breakfast to dinner, the prices are really very honest. The location in which it is located is undoubtedly strategic, a few minutes from Oslob (about 15/20 min) for whale shark watching and 2 hours by van from Moalboal for the Sardine Run & Pescador Island. We organized all our diving trips directly with them: excellent organization and great attention to all the guests on the boat, both those who went diving and those who preferred to snorkel. Santander is a very quiet town, if I were to return there without a doubt I would stay in this property.

Experience beyond expectations! The rooms are cozy, foods are very satisfying and the service is great. Dive with the whale sharks, canyoneering, sea turtles, and a 14ft jump cliff makes this stay extra special. Another tick in my list.

Deserves 5 stars, but is very tricky arriving to the place. You can't come with car, and you carry few hundred meters your baggage on forest path. From the center they gladly help you. Perfect rooms and clean. Be prepared for a lot of mosquitoes. But for the rest is beautiful.

The South Seas Dive Resort is my absolute favourite spot in the Philippines and made my trip absolute perfection - not only did Eric (with the help of Ben) help me to become a PADI diver (I got my certification with Eric as my teacher and mentor) they also made for amazing guides and in the end friends as well! To say the staff was incredible is an understatement at best the chef Lauri made my food with love and care - Jacob, Pedro and CJ all helped make my trip a grand experience. If you plan to become a Padi certified diver this is the place to do it Eric’s patience and concern was amazing and his clear approach to teaching paid off as well - the entire dive experience alone was so reasonably priced that it actually made sense to travel all the way here to enjoy the class in paradise - to say the diving was incredible doesn’t even begin to describe it! I absolutely love this place and with return soon to become a deep water diver! Thank you so very much for a brilliant 6 day stay and a special thanks for the fresh coffee and milk Lauri!!!!
Oh and did I mention canyoneering with Eric and Ben the only word to describe this, just wow!!!!!!!!

10 Stars!! The best place we stayed in the Philippines! Eric and his crew @southseasbrdc were amazing, super friendly and accommodating. He even organized a ride for us to Oslob otherwise we would have had a hard time parking, which we didn’t know. It’s so peaceful, beautiful, room was great, food was the best we had... you can snorkel right off the beach and if you are a diver, their experiences look amazing. i wish we had more nights there. highly, highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of staying at SouthSeas Beach Resort and Dive Center for 3 days this past October. The level of personalized service and quality of the dining and accommodations was evident from the outset.

First and foremost. this is really a 'boutique' dive resort catering to a few fortunate divers at a time. Where would you like to dive, within striking distance of this strategically located resort? Oslob, Sumilon, Apo, Dauin, Moalboal, and more are available. Personable resort owner Eric is an experienced and professional divemaster and instructor who will cater an individualized dive agenda for you.

On our 1st dive at Sumilon island we saw more than 10 large blacktips and a juvenile 3-4 meter whale shark. The house reef is also very much worth your time with brisk currents, lots of fish, and very nice coral formations along the white sand bottom.

The staff is attentive, anticipating your needs, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay relaxing and memorable. The menu is extensive and encompasses Filipino and international dishes, individually prepared to order. The rooms (villas actually) are tastefully furnished and modern, far exceeding typical dive resort accommodations.

The only negative is that this resort is in high demand so you'll have to book early to secure your reservation!

The resort is the best, it may not be that big to explore around, but perfect, its relaxing peaceful and most off all Eric and Ben are so accommodating, and all of their staff are helpful and polite, you won't feel like strangers from them, and the rooms are clean the bathroom and the bed and everything, and they cook great food too, and if you are looking to go diving Eric and Ben are Great dive instructor so you can have your diving organize by them, and non divers can get class and be certified from them, and if you like canyoneering, they will refer you to a good guide and they may even join you to enjoy and won't feel alone and bored...
