One of the few places in the world where you can snorkel straight off the beach with a natural coral reef just four metres from the shore. You can book the entire island or just book a room. When there is more than one booking on NoaNoa, it is strictly child-free (no kids under 16) except if you rent the whole island. With a maximum of only 6 guest rooms, NoaNoa Island is for those that are seeking an alternative to the typical 5 star resort. Exclusive privacy is not the only difference: minimalist design, a staff that truly cares, authentic natural beauty of the island and a stunning coral reef.

Detailed Reviews
The small private island Noa Noa is a true paradise for all those who seek pure relaxation, cristall clear pristine waters, excellent food and an unspoilt intact coral reef. We are returning guests and appreciate much the great hospitality, warmth and friendliness of the owners and their staff. Everything is done with great passion and love for detail. The island and everything is uncomplicated and offers barefoot family style at its best. The rooms in the guest house are simple, the rooms in the main house are large and solid. If you are not looking for entertainment and all sorts of crazy activities but simply enjoy the luxury of nature, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, lazy sunbathing, the best mouthwatering food, massages, quietness and the highest level of privacy then Noa Noa is the right place for you and pure relaxation without kids. We will return definitely again!

A very overdue review as I approach my first wedding anniversary. My wife and I stayed here in April last year immediately after we were married. Incase you cant be bothered to read on, we stayed three nights and this island is a genuine paradise.
I spent a lot of time looking at websites for various honeymoon destinations (this was my one job) and many looked idyllic but NoaNoa seemed to particularly stand out. Not super easy to get to for us London -> Manila -> El Nido then a van across the island. The van across the island was easy then a great lunch overlooking the a bay before speedboat to the island.
The island is beautiful and its surroundings are similarly attractive, particularly in the amazing sunshine youre sure to find. However, as you spend more time the real beauty is to be found in the careful attention to detail that Andy and Chelo (owners) have put into creating this wonderful island. I understand its a labour of love over many years and their profound efforts are apparent as you explore the island.
The experience was unique for us as it blends an eclectic mix of "Cast waay" with fine dining and excellent hosting. We would frequently walk around the island without seeing another soul however at 7pm it was easy to find company for an apertif.
The snorkeling is fantastic with amazing lives reefs, see creatures and a generous host always ready to show you around. There is also a genuine effort towards sustainability. The food was lovely, my wife doesnt love seafood but the food was sufficiently well cooked that she was happy to eat it. It's important to note that the only food available on the island is from the hotel but they are flexbile. I think the food was well priced and we certainly never went hungry, i think its fair to say my wife is fussy but she happily found something in every meal.
Overall I would say that NoaNoa offered a luxury private island experience at a surpassingly reasonable price. We stayed 3 days but i could have stayed for 10. As someone who is bored easily and doesnt always love a beach holiday this place managed to calm my soul and provide a romantic isolation. Even the most active person could find peace here. I think there are two important things that weren't obvious in all the reviews I read before booking. Firstly, NoaNoa is fantastic value, I would pay 3x what they are charging for such an wonderful and exclusive experience (don't tell Andy), but beyond this I have never found such a nice massage in London and have spent a lot more. It works out to < 5$ for a Gin and tonic at the bar, one would assume that they would be more expensive in paradise.
The second is what a warm and personal experience the hosts provide. It felt like we were welcome guests in paradise and the hosts were just glad to share it with new friends. I cant wait until I am back there again.

This was a charming exclusive 10 day holiday. Noa Noa private island in Palawan/Philippines is small yet beautiful, with plentiful nature, absorbing landscapes and sunsets simmered with cool coconut water.
The snorkel by Noa Noa island and nearby showed pristine young coral, colourful anemones and a wide variety of fish including stingray as well as the occasional turtle. Great visibility! Thank you so much Boyet for your enthusiastic and unfailing guidance. We didn’t miss scuba diving at all.
There is such diverse fauna and flora, a new adventure every day. But we don’t want to give away all the surprises here. Simply stunning.
Most importantly, the hospitality was impressive at every level. The honeymoon suite was very comfortable and exotic with a wide outside area, everything was spotless. The food was delicious, healthy yet sophisticated. The staff (Jessie and Heinz supervised by Boyet) were very nice and genuine, attending to our requests and needs in a non-intrusive way.
All transfers from El Nido were pre-arranged and worked out perfectly. Don’t miss out on the Casa Rosa lunch, really great food. The banka ride was lovely, departing from TayTay a little fishing village, in a beautiful bay.
We were very lucky with the weather, always warm but never too hot, with the occasional five minute shower. It suited our snorkelling plans And had we wanted to just relax and do nothing it would have been just as good.
It was a long way from Lisbon, via Dubai and an overnight stay in Manila but well worth it.
We congratulate our hosts for their magnificent work.

Our mini break started off on the wrong foot with a lengthy flight delay which increased our travel time to NoaNoa quite materially and caused us to be at risk of arriving at the pier after dark. The problem was compounded by a problem with our pick up from the airport. However the owners came to our rescue and sorted everything out so that we were very relaxed by the time we reached NoaNoa Island. Overall, the owners made a lot of effort to ensure that we had a great stay and we really appreciated this personal touch. The food was lovely and plentiful, solid selection of available drinks, the snorkeling was fantastic, the room was very nice, the facilities were just what we needed (pool table, spa, snorkelling in various different areas, kayaking, relaxing and reading indoors/outdoor in a hammock, games, volleyball, walking and swimming around the island in the morning and at sunset every night). The island is very picturesque and it felt remote. The other guests were very nice. We stayed for 3 nights.

+1
Visiting this island is a sublime experience – a higher level of perpetual joy & raw enjoyment than we have ever experienced through time spent in a location.
Entering NoaNoa is like a being transported onto another planet or a carefully built Age of Myst. The island is a harmonious interweaving of the best features of civilisation in deep congruence with all the gifts of Mother Nature. The island's caretakers, Andy & Chelo, make you feel like you're not visiting a resort at all, but rather spending time in the staggeringly beautiful home of some dear relatives, with whom you've been invited to enjoy this extraordinary place together.
The team they have attracted to work here takes just wonderful care of you… and what the chef is able to do in the kitchen, and the masseuse in the massage studio… let's just say they're at the absolute pinnacle of their respective professions.
NoaNoa has given us the highest ratio of joy per dollar of anything we've spent money on. Come with your heart open and ready for a pristine degustation of the finest forms of human-produced & natural beauty you can experience on this solar orbiting rock of ours.

If you’re reading this I’d strongly advise you to jump on their website and just book it right now! It’s 100% world class and hands down the BEST place we’ve ever stayed. The conscious attention to detail, awareness of the guest experience and absolute genius of the owner operators in creating and caretaking this paradise is mind blowing. Every corner you turn is something unique and whimsical straight out of an island story tale but beyond what you could have ever imagined. Words have escaped us every day we discover something new and magical. From the architecture to the natural wonders, I promise you’ve never seen anything like it! Plus a big tip is that no other island has artesian spring water running through their taps at HIGH pressure - you can drink it right out of the tap. Plus their wifi is steady and strong so you can upload all your amazing photos to the cloud.
One of the biggest draw cards is the kilometres of breathtaking reef. It’s the healthiest, most colourful we’ve ever seen, right out of a magazine and the staggering amount of marine life is something you’d only find in a protected habitat such as this….and it’s all yours; a private paradise with no other day trippers allowed.
The food is incredible - Michelin quality and servings beyond generous. The owners Andy and Che also eat with guests and are so generous sharing their knowledge and warm hospitality. We couldn’t believe they even open their own house for guests to experience the rooftop pool and architectural structure.
This is a truely immersive experience, it’s what dreams are made of and without a doubt if you’re fortunate enough to be a guest, you’ll still be raving about in your rocking chair to the grandkids. We’re still pinching ourselves that this is our real life honeymoon…feels so much like a dream and we’re forever grateful for the experiences and memories creating here 🙏

Noa Noa is a gem in the world. The island itself is beautiful, but what Andy and Chelo have done to make it their own and welcoming to visitors is on another level. It is clear that each stone that was placed was done thoughtfully and with an eye for what what would look and blend best with the environment. We stayed 5 nights for our honeymoon over New Year's 2020 in the phenominal Capiz suite, and if we had never left the room while on Noa Noa, that would have been fine: the room and veranda were that perfect. But there was so much to do on that tiny island! The reef is indeed stunning, and uplifting, to behold: so many happy, healthy corals and lovely marine life. We were there during the high winter winds, but were fully able to spend hours in the water with no problem, and explored different parts of Andy and Chelo's beautiful underwater backyard. We each got several fantastic spa treatments in the gorgeous spa, and each and every meal was a filling, fresh hit. Traipsing around on the scenic trail to the different viewpoints and beach spots was something we couldn't get enough of, and Andy was gracious enough to bring a few of us over to look at Umbrella Island and its stunning reef on a day where the winds were too high to kayak over.
As hosts, Andy and Chelo cannot be beat. They are so personable and genuinely care about their guests, their wonderful staff, and their slice of paradise. I am so grateful they've chosen to share it with the world, and we so hope to return!!

Andy & Chelo were magnificent hosts, from meeting us at the pier on arrival, joining and guiding through the stunning coral reefs and highlighting the vast marine life.
The ambiance of the island is super relaxing and the option to socialize with the limited guests or be alone depending on how you feel is great, Andy & Chelo always available to chat and answer questions on the history of the island and share stories of the attention to detail of the construction of the fabulous buildings. The WiFi is hit and miss but this is ideal to escape the unnecessary distractions from the outside world. Superb place to disappear and chill out. Thank you for taking care of us 👍

It’s tempting to say that Noa Noa provides the things that money can’t necessarily buy. There is no other “resort” like this: a tasteful, beautiful experience in pristine nature. A thoughtfully designed island home to the owners who have opened up just 6 rooms to those of us lucky enough to be able to visit. They really care about all of their guests. It is a place to go to totally unwind, to revel n the natural beauty of it all, to enjoy the sea , snorkelling, coral reefs and multitude of marine life . To feel the sea breeze, do short walks round the island, and mainly just relax in one of the most tranquil settings you will ever find. It helps of course that the staff are charming. The food excellent (who needs menu choice when each meal is so varied, attractively presented and well composed) and the rooms so nicely appointed . If you are someone who enjoys watching the hue of the sea changing from emerald to aquamarine, and appreciates nature from a rather luxurious base, this is for you . Oh and by the way, unlike most other places, Noa Noa is genuinely “eco” friendly. No annoying little plastic bottles in the bathroom. No plastic anyway in fact. And make sure your sunscreen is paraben (and lots of other nasty nano chemicals …) free - or use the cream they provide, to save the coral. Once you see the coral, you will want to save it too. Bringing a rash vest a smart idea to avoid having to apply endless sunscreen. The more adventurous and secure swimmers can venture round the island, currents permitting. But their is plenty to do right in front of the resort with endless reefs to explore and funky fish to marvel at. Noa Noa is the nearest most of us will come to paradise, I suspect. I read a review that said “don’t think about the cost, just go”. That person was right.

Noa Noa Island is absolutely beautiful. The hosts are awesome, meals are good, and you have to try the spa. I just got he head and neck massage and it was the nest massage I've ever had. The rooms are beautiful. There are lovely paths to explore the island.
Snorkeling is fantastic... like really fantastic. I've snorkeled all over the world and only the red sea comes close to Noa Noa's house reef.
I got hurt while I was there, through no fault of the resort. The hosts went above and beyond to take care of me.
I can't thank them enough.
They even made big woven mats to get in and out of the ocean so no one would do what I did :-). (I stepped on a piece of coral that went though my foot).

They have limited electrical power so generator to power air conditioning is normally shutdown during the day. They have ample fans in the room we stay in: ceiling fans, wall fans. Upon request, if you wish to use air conditioning at night, they can turn on generator. We stayed in Capriz room, I think. Large in suite bathroom, hot water, very nice rooms.
They offer 3 exquisite meals per day that are predetermined. There was a daily fee that covered all meals exclusive of alcohol, soda etc. but did include juice and coffee.
How expensive is the food and drinks? How much would a couple expect to pay for a weeks stay? Thanks
Hi,
Beer is P90, Gin and Tonic is P200 and Red wine is P260. A 1 week stay starts around USD3,000 for 3.
Best,
Andy

NoaNoa Island is surrounded by an official marine sanctuary. In our effort to protect the reef we do not allow diving. Most divers say they saw more while snorkeling NoaNoa than they did diving in other places. The reef is extraordinary and much of it is shallow. The reef is 5km long and nears 200 acres.
The full board dining plan is P3,700 per person per day and includes simple beverages. Other beverages can be ordered from the bar menu.
Hope to see you on NoaNoa Island soon.
