Detailed Reviews
We went here on recommendation. The staff working were super friendly.
Unfortunately the service wasn’t that great and the food took a long long time to come out even though it wasn’t that busy.
The food was ok... reasonably priced.

I stayed for 3 nights here in non-aircon room. And overall, it's a good place to stay.
The room and bathroom are clean and in good condition.
The pension house has good manager and staffs. They are very friendly and helpful to us.
The manager helped us to book our bus and van seat to puerto princessa and to el nido.
The staff has initiative to help and fast in answering requests.
The location is walking distance to the Fuerza de Santa Isabel and Taytay port.

This place was advised by locals when we got to Taytay after a tough motorbike ride fro Puerta Princessa to El Nido. The pem's staff provided a very warm welcome.
Other advantages:
Tasty food
A beautiful historical fort right next to the place
A motorbike parking lot on its territory
Also Charlie, the owner, mentioned that there is a private beach 20 mins away which is open for Pem's guests. You can talk about it with him I gues

Visited the small town of Taytay in Palawan recently. Surprisingly good food, especially the fried chicken and all sinigang foods they have. The owner, Chan Lee is very accommodating, he even spent few hours with us promoting their small town and the whole Palawan

we (party of 3) stayed overnight in 2 bungalows on our way to El Nido. one of the bungalows (2 beds) had fan, flush toilet (with no seat0) and cold shower and was just fine. basic but good and at the price of 600 peso ok value. the other bungalow had double bed but toilet and shower were in a pretty bad state of affairs and really not usable - this bungalow was the same price 600 peso.
we had dinner in the restaurant - a selection of sizzling dishes that were very tasty and we really enjoyed the meal. breakfast was basic toasted bread and jam Philippino style.
We would stay here at Pems again but check the bungalow before booking in.

Visited Taytay for some official business transaction.. Nice place to stay.. So quite, near the big QUOTA..
So friendly the crews, the price affordable. Will be back again in a few month's time! I love the friendly and cozy atmosphere of the place..

The Casa Rosa has a more picturesque location and gets all the coverage for Taytay in guide books, but Pem's is a perfectly nice place to stay with several assets. The manager, Chan Lee, showers you with personal attention and help in all matters. The food is good Filipino and Asian cuisine, the free breakfasts simple but good, and the bungalow where we stayed sparsely furnished but all hardwood, and the A/C never quit on us. All in all, good value and a good choice.

Best food in TayTay. The seating area is cool and shaded with fans running. The atmosphere is nice. The food is just plain exceptional and at reasonable prices. The waiters are attentive and friendly.

One piece of advice i would give is ask what they recommend and you wont go wrong . Chan Lee and his staff are welcoming and attentive .There wasnt much vegetarian food on the menu but i asked and they offered other options . The food was tasty and well presented . We went to eat there a few times and each meal was lovely
