The Zuri Kumarkom is situated at the edge of lagoon.looks beautiful in monsoon. Hote staff is very competitive. Just need take care with mosquitos in open areas. Loved staying here. Had lovely 2 days. Special thanks to Mr. Vshnu, Mathews, Akash, Akhil for all the help in our breakfast & dinner time. - Parth Purohit
Food: The food was absolutely fantastic. It was mouth-watering each day we stayed there. Even though we were in Kerala and expected only the Keralite food to be good, the other food items from different cuisines were just as good if not better. Food rating 6 out of 5 stars. Hospitality: The hospitality was also top-notch, it was very comforting. The best way to put it is that every staff and housekeeping member felt like a family member. Hospitality rating 5 out of 5 stars. Location/Atmosphere of the resort: Beautiful. Even though the resort was in a sort of "congested-village area" it felt like we were in a paradise away from cities and villages etc. The landscaping job has been done amazingly. Location/Atmosphere rating 4.5 out of 5 stars. Our room: It was super cozy and luxurious. We had our own private pool that overlooked a beautiful lake. The view from the pool was amazing. However, after 2 days of use the underwater visibility in the pool went down quite a bit. But overall, our room was still very nice. Room rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Entertainment: The options for entertainment were pretty decent too. We had two TVs in our room but there was a low signal which was inconvenient while watching. The other outdoor entertainment options were zipline across the lake, paddle boating, bamboo rafting, etc. across the lake too, and cycling. There was a place where you could play billiards and carrom too. All of this stuff was good enough to keep us entertained for all the days of our trip and we didn’t feel bored. Entertainment rating: 4 out of 5 stars Overall: This was one of the best resorts I have ever visited. We will definitely visit this again. Overall resort rating: 5 out of 5 stars!…
Visited in May last week. Pandemic has taken a toll on upkeep of the property. The management will do the needful soon. Rooms are spacious with high roof. Restaurant food was delicious and staff is courteous. They are short of staff as of now. Swimming pool requires complete overhaul.
We just returned from Zuri after 2 nights 9-11 of June 22. The place and the property is of a 5 star standard. But unfortunately the service and upkeep dosent match the star rating. After a long journey from Munnar when we were checked in a lagoon facing villa the Electricals were not working so we had to inform them and after 1/2hr and second reminder this was attended to. Then we asked for an extra bed which again took 2 reminders and a good 45 mins. At night our TV remote was not working, night lamp not working (so we slept with the closet light on) which were repaired after a call the next day. Cobwebs on the front door and if that was not enough we had a light in the bathroom hanging by its wire. And suddenly on drawing the curtains that came into our hand. When it got a bit too much we politely gave a piece of our Mind questioning the rating of the resort. After acknowledging their faults they gave us a half hearted apology ( senior manager Shibi) and promised for compensating for their short comings which obviously were conveniently ignored. Very disappointing…
Brilliance personified is the experience when you visit the Zuri Resort, Kumarkom. The service, food, upkeep, facilites and ambience deserve a Thumbs up and the Management needs to take a bow for this. The entire experience from Check in right upto Checkout was seamless and brilliant. Enjoyed the stay at Zuri - Well done Guys
This hotel is the worst one staff are terrible front desk guys were worst and indifferent. I went with 21 family members and they have no consideration… rooms are worst quality… Beds have bugs in it…Lizards in almost all rooms, gloomy ambiance… it is a mess in the middle of a good location… guys don’t book this hotel at all..
First the welcome drink, the dressed up coconut was truly unique and refreshing. The resort in itself is so beautiful that one doesn’t need to go anywhere outside. A whole lot of activities to keep every member of the family occupied. An early morning walk through the beautiful resort was very refreshing. Food here is a foodie’s delight. Such a vast spread and an interesting confluence of various cuisines from traditional Kerala food to international dishes. Dessert section is especially mention-worthy! Am sure to return with the family in tow. Thank you for a memorable stay. Pooja Rajasthan Routes Trails Pvt Ltd

(F/O) Santosh , Homey, Albin , Sibi (F/B) Xavier ,Vijay, Vineeth and many more... thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful without any -IF OR BUT - super rooms..super property good water actives and can't forgot back water GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND WE MEET SOON :-)
I spend a couple of days in the resort. A vast resort with good staff. We had food in their restaurant, good food, good service, and room service was also nice with restaurant staff quickly delivering food all the time. But if it rains, everything turns upside down. Many closets, we were unable to use, even some of the bath areas we were unable to use as the water was not draining. The resort had high tea which was good and a couple of activities like fishing which was fun. A good resort to spend time, but make sure it is not raining.
Not so great experience overall. The property is huge and beautiful but the rooms were not so great. Had to call the reception to get some basic things like slippers, toiletries which should ideally be present before guest arrival. The floor of the rooms were a bit old style. The showers heads also appeared old and clumsy. Not the experience you expect from a 5 star resort. Some renovation of the interiors would definitely be a great add on. Additionally the website also calls out on a few complimentary services which are not actually complimentary but chargeable. Basic services like paddle boat are charged 600+. While the cost is not so much their website is misleading. The also call spa and jacuzzi to be complimentary but when asked to book we were told it is already taken up by all the guests who have booked a spa service. Kids pool was dirty…
