For P2575 a night at Lingayen, Pangasinan, I expected a decent hotel stay. I was greatly disappointed. The room (which I was told was the Executive Room) was dark, with no window, the water from the shower smelled, the bed and pillows were hard, sheets were ugly and smelled unpleasant. The door key was not the card type so I was concerned about safety. Wifi was only at the lobby, which was hot and humid, and too slow. Bakery and cafeteria at the ground floor were super hot and humid and dirty. Extra beds were stored in a dark and dirty room beside our room. The hotel was terribly unsanitary. This was a terrible hotel stay. We didn't enjoy one moment of it.

My wife and I + 4 kids (we are all Filipinos now US citizens) went to the Philippines to visit relatives and friends. A relative who had attended numerous meetings in this hotel recommended it. THIS IS A HOTEL BETWEEN MOTEL 6 AND MOTEL 8. If you're by yourself I guess you'll be OK but do not bring your family. You will get what you pay for. I'm just thankful nothing really bad happened. This hotel is not a famliy friendly hotel.
Even our driver (from Manila) didn't like the atmosphere.

While we were there, one of the guest' car was burglarized. Someone deflated our tires. My son lost his baseball hat while he was getting food in the restaurant, dirty toilets, dirty linens, etc. They still use hard keys for the rooms (not cardkey) which are easy to duplicate. I had to use our door "club" to ensure door security.

The rate is pretty cheap but I WILL NOT STAY here again........even if they'll give it to me for free.

Generally dirty. CR is dirty that I had to wear slippers in the tub. Furniture is frayed. Very expensive for no value. No towels. Mattress and pillows are hard foam. It's so bad that we decided to drive home instead of stay the night.

Hotel Consuelo in Lingayen offers budget-friendly accommodations in a convenient location. The rooms are basic and clean, providing essential amenities such as air conditioning and hot showers. However, the furnishings and decor are dated and could benefit from renovation. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay despite the hotel's limited facilities. The onsite restaurant serves decent meals, though the options are somewhat limited. Overall, Hotel Consuelo is suitable for travelers seeking affordable lodging in Lingayen, but improvements in room comfort and facilities would enhance the guest experience.

I know the location is good, near the beach and all, but Stay Away. I had the trouble of travelling there from Dagupan city by a Jeep bus ride, then trike ride, hard with luggage, then checked in, and checked out an hour later, and returned to the city. The hotel lobby and area is not Air conditioned nor any fans in site. Only wifi available in lobby area. The rooms are terrible, the mattress was only 4" thick and it flattened out when I sat on the bed, the tv had no working cable, the AC was a very very small unit which done nothing to cool the room in the hour I was there. the bathroom was gross, so much dirt built up on everything and absolutely NO water pressure

Get away from this hotel and never ever tried to check in. We checked in at night along with my family to sleep and relax after a long journey from Malaysia and Singapore but we were embarrassed with the hotel. Rooms are so small, very dirty, no cabinet, so disgusting. This hotels needs complete change.

The hotel is situated opposite the provincial government center. In between is a well kept tree lined park. Behind the Provincial Capitol is the beach. The hotel is ideally located, depending on the nature of your trip.

The hotel itself is very ordinary. Its saving grace would generally be their hotel and restaurant staff who are helpful and polite. Generally the hotel areas are clean. But the physical features of the hotel are old. When inside, one doesn't feel he's in a hotel but in an old office building. Since I stayed only one night, I had a standard room only. Room facilities are mediocre - old bedsheet and pillowcase, old style TV, plastic multi-layer cabinets, no closet for hanging clothes, electrical outlets in disrepair, dim flourescent room lighting, obsolete bathroom fixtures. No bath towel upon check in (housekeeping had to be reminded about it). Wifi is free but is available only at the lobby and restaurant.

A hotel need not be expensive but its management should see to it that guests should experience some amount of memorable or delightful experience. Room rate and value should always go together.

We have stay in hundreds of hotels thru the years. This Consuelo is the absolute worst ever!. Code violations in the room, the pool which is a danger. Gave us a room with no A/C and no maintence man on duty, no manager, either.
Sleezy.Run and owned by Asians, who may be running another "type of business out of this place".. Sandra, the girl on duty does nothing, left me on hold for 25 minutes until we decided to leave. She still charged our CC. We did not stay one night. BANK OF AMERICA will make it right, no doubt.
You would be nuts to stay here, unless you want something other than the regular hotel amenities, if you get my drift. Not a family, not an anybody with sense place. .....ASIAN........OWNER. Austin has great hotels. this one is a dumpster and needs to be run out of town. Advice is NEVER stay here. Aweful experience.
