The place is far from any establishments. If you don’t want to be hungry buy everything before you check in. If you have patience book here. It is only intended for rest and sleep over. The staff are friendly and will provide everything for you. You can cook in the kitchen, you can grill and so on. This not for water activities because the sea is not swimmable. It’s covered with reefs. But you can take pictures the place is nice and instagramable. No signal also. Good for family bonding away from social media and gadgets.

- Location: It's located almost in the farthest end of the road. We almost got lost since waze is trying to direct us into a rough road beside a cliff. Definitely not a good place to pick if you're commuting. Plus, it's far from eateries and restaurants. The place doesn't have their own restaurant. - Room: We rented a Kubo (4 Pax). It came with 4 mattresses complete with their bedding set. However, they are a bit dusty and it triggered my allergies. Same goes with the Kubo, it's a bit unkept to the point where you can see termites. - Comfort Room: Their public restrooms are quite clean and spacious. - Staff: Very friendly and accommodating! - Beach front: The view is breathtaking although the beach is not swimmable. The shore is rocky, please wear your aqua shoes if you'd decide to explore the beach. - Internet: Off the grid, no signal.…

Well, first a little background. This was my fourth trip from USA to Philippines to visit my fiancee, and I got there just in time for all of the Xmas and New years festivities, and that was great. But my Fiancee wanted something more exciting to do, so I quickly planned a huge road trip through Illocos Norte to all of the sights. I hired an old dependable guy I used several times before and his huge van to take me, and the whole extended family too. The first stop on our journey was the Natsuca Beach resort, because they were pet friendly, and we were bringing Dorcas along with us. After a grueling overnight drive, we arrived t the resort, and were graciously welcomed by the owners. No check-in necessary, they were expecting us. We had booked the dormitory style room, because it had a lot of double Decker bunk beds, enough for everyone, even the driver. There is no food or restaurant facilities at this resort, but we sent our driver into town to buy us groceries and supplies. The beach was kind of rocky, and there were sharp rocks all along it. So we only went into the water a little. We tried to bring some shells and coral home with us, but the owners told us we had to put them back. We packed up and left the next morning feeling refreshed for the next leg of out illocos norte journey…

Thank you for your precious comments. We have explanation about bringing back shell and coral to your home. A regulation of DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) prohibits tourists to bring back natural resources including even shells or fragments of coral from beaches. Thus, our staff advised it to you. It is not our decision. We comply the law of the Philippines. Thank you for your understanding Natsuca Beach Resort

No easy food access, we had to travel for 20 mins to get us a dinner. And no bath towels provided. The lady assisted us is a bit rough, she must be having a bad day. The beach part is not "swimmable" because of large formation of rocks. Other group went to other part of Saud in order to dip.

I appreciate your precious comment. Thank you very much. I would like to explain a bit what happens on the front beach during these 16 years. When we chose the location as a beach resort, the beach was full of white sands and suitable for swimming in 2001. Several big typhoons have eroded away the enormous volume of beach sand from the front beach. The sand of the seabed has not come back yet. National code of the Philippines prohibit to change the natural shape of coral reef beach artificially. We have no intention to change the natural shape of the precious coral reef beach for swimming purpose by our hands. Thus, we are planning swimming pool in future.

Its quite far from Saud beach but if you prefer to stay in a quiet place, then this is a good place for you. The katiwala of this place is very helpful and kind. She is a super woman. She does everything alone. She cleaned the rooms, received the guests, received the payment, answer the phone, attend to all the needs of their guests. WOW...

We stayed at one of Natsuca's cottages and I must say, it was the best hotel experience we've ever had. The place is clean and peaceful and, most importantly, affordable. We've met the owner and she's the friendliest host ever. We've enjoyed our stay in Pagudpud mostly because of our Natsuca experience.
