Location can't be beat and little or no viable alternatives in the area (except a brand new huge hotel/resort named Maira-Ira which seems to have not yet opened) Hannah's seems to have fallen into limbo. The story is that when the visionary owner died all the bank accounts were frozen. We didnt experience any malfunctions and our villa was clean and comfortable. The fasination with statues at both resorts is hard to explain

The speech at check in re numerous "rules" is rather odd and since cash only, ironically or conincidentaly there is an ATM in the lobby.

Very weak cell signals No Globe signal and slow wifi is only available in the lobby area. Food is average at best with very limited choices. VERY limited choices for food

All in all ,good for 2 nights max to experience Pagudpud and the Zipline

I do not understand how such a beautiful beach is associated with such a terrible hotel. We were excited to visit Hannah's before. We learned about them before because a lot of shows covered their resort (more like the white beach ahem)

There is no question that the beach in front of the resort is incredible. White sands, transparent water, just a beautiful escapade.

The hotel? The room we rented is like a country inn's room. The beds are not even hotel-level. There are better hotels around offering almost the same level of comfort for a discounted price.

They also use seawater for their water. We remember how uncomfortable it was. We swam on the beach and in the swimming pool. As soon as we showered, we immediately notice how it smells like seawater filtered with Clorox. We ended up buying bottled waters just to get through our shower.

Better visit just for the beach. Staying overnight isn't worth it.

We tried to book in this resort but they did not respond to my query, but my friend pm them and says they are fully booked. When we got to Pagudpud this place is like Hunted and we book to another resort with a pool. I hope they'll be back operating this resort cause I really wanted to try it to have a good experience.

There is a restaurant with some really lazy workers there Who is more interested in there own mobile than even serve you there menu. We waited over 2,5 hours for our food and it was cold betalte the woman did not follow up with the cooks When they where finnished with a dish. There where no other costumers there. The older woman had a bad attitude towards us as costumers. She told us we are forreigers and should be able to wait. My reply is: No we are not. I have a house here in ilocos Northe.
Then she suddently changed here attitude

It is a shame, such a lovely place but with such a rude and lazy workers.

This is the first time i have tried this restaurant and it is certantly the last.

DONT GO THERE.

It’s not what everybody thought. It’s not worth it. No side table or no table at all. Water is smelly and the drainage in the bathroom inside the room is clog. Pay extra pillows. Only 1 pillows per person. No face towel and hand towel. No internet/wifi. No complimentary coffee. BUT the view from our room “ executive family suite with ocean view” is very good. I will never go back and will not recommend.

Absolutely terrible place. If you want to stay here, it is not worth more than 1,000 pesos per night and they charged us nearly 10,000 pesos per night for a family suite and an executive one at that. Executive! I can't imagine what the other "suites" are like. The place is almost completely worn down and it is obvious the owner is spending nothing on its up-keep. Avoid!

As always i will start with the possitives. The place is clean, the beach is amazing with whitesand with a lot of water activities and of course the zipline. Good thing we went here with a tour we only stayed for 4 hours. If not it will be a bit expensive the villas are about 10 to 12k pesos overnight a bit pricey huh lol. The restaurant that i mentioned awhile ago is ok but also a bit pricey and not much on the menu plus the serving hmmmm if you're on a diet that will be enough for you. There's a swimming pool but you also need to pay for it. Was a bit disappointed with the zip line cause i thought me and my fiancé can do the superman together the costs for the zipline is 900 pesos plus the souvenir pic is 195 each you can't take a picture of the monitor when you're choosing the photo that you like to print out.so with most places that has a lot of tourists everything is expensive.

The resort is very expensive. The food in the restaurant is expensive but not delicious. The management seems to be overdeveloping the resort to the point that it is no longer in touch with nature. You can surely find a better and cheaper place to stay in the area.

I'v heard a lot about this resort, but all I can say is that it is overrated. The beach is good. Zipline is something you may want to try. But their service is terrible. During check in, they mentioned that if we have issues and we want to reach the lobby, they gave a # to call. Guess what, that # does not work. And I have to walk far from my room to the lobby just to escalate the issues. And I'm not the only one. During out stay, there were several guests that have the same complaints we have.

Next is the restaurant. They serve very ordinary food. Since location is far, it is difficult to move to another place to look for something to eat. Thus you are forced to eat at their resto. Some of the food are cold, or is too salty.

Unless they improve big time, then better look for other places in pagudpud.

Getting there is an adventure in itself. I went to Pagudpud via Cagayan. The sight along the way is superb. The nice highway, which Ilocanos pride themselves as Marcos built, make the long trip bearable. If you're coming in from Laoag, better take advantage of the sights along the way. The awesome windmills should not be passed up.

Hannah's resort will surely make you forget about the long trip. It has nice amenities. There are lots of photo ops with movie characters. There is the hanging bridge, statue of liberty, and even a passable Obama.

The rooms are nice and clean, the staff are polite and helpful. If you want to save a little, there are independent houses near the beach that offer homestay and dampa style paluto.

The beach has fine sand, but the kids need to be supervised as it tends to get suddenly deep.

This resort is good for the kids and family.
