The place was homey and quaint. The staff is accommodating and very helpful. Food is ok and the ambiance is nice. Don't expect too much from the beach, though since it's rocky and may not be fit for the kids. The pool is small but just enough if you just want to take a dip and relax. I think the place is very good for couples who just want to stay by the beach and have an al fresco dining experience. Definitely worth a try if you're going to Pagudpud.

This is a quaint resort with a lot decorations in some nooks and crannies which looks creative and colorful. I think the place is in a good location with a good view of the Dos Hermanos. The staff are very accommodating and polite, room rates are cheap, the food is good and service is quick. It is pet friendly and resident dogs like Apollo, Queenie and Oreo are also entertaining. Though the stay is quite nice, I think they should update some of the room facilities like lighting and fixture in the bath. Never the less our Family enjoyed the vacation.

The rooms were clean and tidy but I was not told beforehand that there were other variations of the same room. If I would have known I would have picked a different one. So make sure to ask about the other room variations. The resort ground was clean, the pool was okay around 5ft-5.4ft. The View was amazing! )

The first and last time that we were at Casa Consuelo was in August 2018. Then we already said, we will return here 1 day. Finally that was in July of this year. So glad that not to much has changed since 2018. The private atmosphere is still awesome, the nice food is delicious, and everything still in a native style. The Tamayo brothers, Ala and Richard, are managing the place very well. Success guys, we sure you will maintain with your team of people around you. See you again.

Pros- they have a pool, 5ft and 3 ft for kids they have restaurant that serve decent food Huge parking area Staff are accommodating They accept card and gcash They are responsive Outstanding view Hot/cold water Affordable rates Many fishes for snorkeling Cons The room is old, it is decent for the price though Food is average Pool is not very clean, we stayed for 5 days and I think they never replaced the pool water To swim to the beach you’ll need to walk 15-25 mins as what they have is for snorkeling Overall, I would still recommend and will stay in Casa Consuelo again

Unfortunately our stay was cut short by the lockdown imposed by the government to stop the spread of covid-19. We had 1 night here before we had to leave and make a mad dash back to Angeles city. From our 1 night I can tell you that this small family run resort is very nice. The staff although under pressure due to the crisis were friendly and helpful. The food, especially the bagnet was amazing. The room although small was perfect, good quiet aircon and nice sized shower. There is a petite pool and a very nice coral beach with lots of in interesting things to see. If you're heading this way once the lockdown is lifted I highly recommend staying here rather than the tacky butlins style resort we drive past to get here.

A great family run resort, great oral beach front location, friendly people, good food, cold beer. We were in one of the modern newly refurbished rooms, very comfortable with air con and a TV. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to the town being locked down over corona virus fears. Staff were very helpful and said would help arrange a refund through the booking agent for unused nights.

We booked at Casa Consuelo on December 26 to December 29,casita 1.We were tired since we came all the way from Vigan. Energy was high as we passed by the towns of Burgos and Bangui and finally Pagudpud. Casa Consuelo is located on the eastern side of Pagudpud. It is the last resort located on the famous Blue Lagoon Area. The road leading to the resort was a bad road! It was undergoing repair obviously but because of the bad weather getting to the resort from the main road is a pain. You will 1st pass the resort called Maira-Ira. They have these Egyptian themed resort with statues of super heroes and dinosaurs and they have they a private beach front for their guests. We then passed hannah's resort which is one of the busiest resort since this is the one facing the public beach. There were lots of people when we pass by on this area on the way to casa consuelo. The last resort was casa consuelo.based on the map that was given to us this area is the surfing area which is why the beach front are all corals. Not for swimming. We were greeted warmly on the night of Dec. 26 our 1st night in the resort. The casa that was given to us is an up and down casa. On the lower level is the receiving area/kitchen (with sink, small fridge no cook top) and bathroom. The split type AC was not working when we arrive so we have to ask them to fix it for us.Thankfully it did work. The room has a high ceiling and during the summer months can be hot so a working AC is a must. The room has a bath tub but once you step on it it feels wobbly. The shower curtain is filthy and the bathroom stinks! The stairs going to the 2nd level is not for small kids or seniors since it is steep. The 2nd floor has 2 beds, one double bed and 1 single bed. Be careful going to the single bed area since the roof is low. There is no signal for cellphones and the internet connection is only available in the restaurant. There is a pool for the kids to swim into but because of the weather we were not able to swim nor visit the rock formation, Dos Hermanos :( The wind was howling from Dec 27 to Dec 28. We spent the whole day of Dec 27. just in our room and braced the wind and the rain going to the restaurant to have our meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner should be pre order since the resort are fully booked. Breakfast options are limited and plated. The price of the food is a bit hefty, for a burger and a club sandwich we paid for 500 pesos and the servings are small. The staff are helpful so does the owner.

We did an overnight stay here when we did our Northern Luzon trip. The place was very beautiful, quiet and tastefully decorated. The staff and owners were very accommodating and very friendly. The food at the restaurant was delicious especially the seafood platter! The pool was nice and the nipa huts along the beach was really nice! The beach itself was nice for beach combing but not for wading since this area has a lot of reefs and corals. The rooms were also nice and was comfortable enough. My only gripe is that I wish the bathroom was a bit cleaner. It was clean per se but maybe a little updating will help. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here even though it was just a quick overnight stay.
