The hotel is situated at the top of a high road form the village. The rooms are comfortable and the food was adequate and occasionally very good. Portions reasonable and the service good. Balconies to enable you to sit outside, with some difficulty because of the size, and not all views good. As the hotel is quite a way from the village unless you walk down and get a taxi back, it is a steep hill. Would have liked to have seen the town/village but not possible by the time the meal was finished. Maybe a shuttle bus to the town would be a good addition.

Judging from the decor, which is very over the top, we thought this could be a very good resort. The outdoor areas are beautiful, but the lovely pool was closed and the gym facilities were closed as well. We were at the end of the season. The room is small, but modern, with good storage, comfy bed and good lighting. I hate the tiny showers in Sicily, where you can almost not lift your arms because they bump into the door, but they are pretty standard there. The walk to the beach is VERY long with lots of steps, but once you get there it's nice. We had a nice dinner at the hotel of seafood risotto, fruit (unripe), chickpea frittters and semifreddo. The dining room was very hot. Service was ok. Breakfasts are unremarkable. The hotel is not near anything else, so don't expect to go to other restaurants once you're there.

This hotel seems to have organically grown over the years with an odd room numbering system and eclectic decor. However, the rooms are comfortable, the food was very good, and the private beach was just amazing. The staff were extremely nice. The beach is lovely and a great place to find shells and sea glass. Dip a toe into the Mediterranean Sea weather permitting. A very relaxing location. The hotel was selected by the tour operator for our group.

We stayed here in November as part of an organised tour of Sicily. The hotel is in a nice location with its own grounds going down to the beach but it is in a residential area remote from town and everything else, so the hotel is the only option for eating and drinking. I imagine it is much livelier in warmer weather. On the plus side the hotel has a large bar and lounge for socialising with the rest of the tour group. We had a room with a good view over the pool, closed unfortunately, and towards the sea. Not all rooms have a sea view. The room was very clean. It had lots of storage space and convenient USB sockets to charge phones. The buffet breakfast could have been better; there was little fresh fruit which is our preference. Dinner was acceptable but not outstanding but then catering for 50 people at one sitting is not easy. The hotel has a policy that guests are not allowed food or drink in their room - but there is a minibar.

Acknowledged it was low season. Overall the hotel was clean and good access to a deserted beach but the hotel is in middle of nowhere and so compromised when looking for evening entertainment. Handy for Valley of Temples. The evening food was adequate but no higher than that. One evening’s swordfish was like a Frozen Bernard Matthews Turkey Steak. Pricing of Wine/Drinks with meal took advantage of the captive audience. Perhaps not the hotels fault but our travel company (Riveria) sent us information juts a week before travelling confirming the large terraced swimming pool was available when it was not. . Half Board was a sensible option. NO tea and coffee facilities in Rooms.
