Nature Vibes and Beach front location!

The resort is really amazing cottages right on the beachfront with the view of famous guyam and daku Island.
Super good location walking distance to everything like, surrounded with many resto BAR you don't need to ride a car or motorbike because everything is walking distance.
They also have a lots of selection on the MENU both local and international food and it delicious try the BARBECUE children w/unli rice and the yummy Pizza w/ free Pithier of juice.
They can also organize a private for at very reasonable price. Just simply ask the reception they can organized and advice any tours. Private tour, Island tour, land tour, kayak rentals, motor bike rental, car rentals
almost everything they have.
The best part for me resort is very quiet, nice garden and they have huge long beachfront that you can't feel any crowd. Highly recommended their resort, i will go back again and again. ;)

Patrick's on the beach is a family run hotel on a large beachfront property. We stayed in a beach front cottage, which was absolutely wonderful. Each cottage has a large porch where you can sit and have your morning coffee (they make excellent brewed coffee in giant coffee cups btw), and/or drink your evening cocktails while watching the boats and the surf. Their beach is sandy and clean and great for swimming. If you want to go island hopping, a boat will pull right up to the hotel and take you. No need for the cramped van ride to some public pier. They have a very nice restaurant and bar, but will happily serve your meal at one of the pagodas on the beach. And probably most important, the staff are amazing. This isn't a new style hotel, or a cookie cutter chain hotel. There isn't a flat screen tv with 47 shopping channels in each room, but they do have Aircon, a mini fridge, a great bed, and a large tile bathroom. Think of it as more of a siargao adventure base in a garden of Eden type setting. It's in the heart of Gen. Luna's restobar scene. You can walk everywhere (even take a shortcut on the beach).

If like me you seek a quiet sanctuary in a paradise location where people are naturally friendly and unspoilt by tourists . Patricks is for you . This is the most beautiful location directly on the beach and living in traditional style homes but with modern day amenities . The beach is on a shallow lagoon protected by a coral barrier reef about a mile offshore . It provides a perfect location for children to safely play unattended . The staff and owner are wonderful , so helpful and friendly and the food is delicious . Thus is my second trip within 2 months and i hope to return later this year . I thoroughly recommend it .

Worst place in Siargao. Aircon didn’t work &moldy. Furniture were old & dusty. Curtain hideous yellow won’t let you sleep. Pictures are diff from reality. My son got sick here and they didn’t want to refund us our money or give us a better room

Good staff very friendly.
They organized a great birthday dinner all good 👍 food was good and special arrange for us 👍
Also the communication with xiN for this booking with was very attentive good job 👍 including ding tours and airport pick up ..
Breakfast OK and they have Real Espresso Coffee.
The location is perfect on the beach great for a swim near your cottage 👍
Central to all in the Village also !
The rooms it self are really old and run down need a upgrade for sure.
Don’t expect any luxury but yes the price is also reasonable to this quality.
Everything was working in our rooms but i see many temporary repairs..
i need to mention we get a upgrade to a bigger beach cottage so thats a pro also the first room was really little.
So yes i can still recommend this place don’t expect luxury just a simple nice Holiday straight on the beach with friendly staff !

Siargao is located at the south eastern seaboard of the Philippines where Pacific storms produce some of the most magnificent surf. One resort that stands out is Patrick's on the Beach Resort which caters to everyone from family types all the way to surfers on a budget. Accomodation consists of nipa hut cottages some of which come with air conditioning and cable TV, while the most basic would be OZARK TRAIL tents. For non-surfers, the resort can arrange fishing, or island hopping trips complete with pack lunch and dinner. Dining menu is quite ecclectic and sampling them can be an activity itself.

Property has a nice beach front and is walking distance to the town market. You can hire a motorbike to bring you to Cloud 9 which is THE SURFING SPOT on the island. This is the only property on the island that has internet and accepts credit cards for a fee. Everything said, perhaps the resort's greatest asset would have to be Andreas (the owner) who not only makes is own yogurt and mango rum, but can regale you with his stories.

On one level, POTB is a great 'beach bungalow' style getaway, with thatch-roofed huts, hammocks, cold beer, a great location and tasty food.

However, there were some issues that left a less than stellar taste in my mouth when I left.

After staying for 4 nights for a pleasantly-negotiated reduced rate, Andreas (the owner) informed me that he had a large party coming in and he could get more money for my bungalow than I was paying, so he asked if it was OK to move me to his other location, Patrick's At Cloud 9. We had been pretty friendly all week so I agreed to help him out, and he offered me the other accommodation for the same discounted rate, and even threw in a clunky motorscooter for me to use.

But when I got to the other location, it really was a dive...I would never had stayed there had I seen it first. The room has cockroaches, no A/C, no TV and the walls were dilapidated and dingy. It felt isolated and dark. And the 'discounted rate' he had given me was almost TWICE the regular rental rate! When I complained to him, he agreed to refund me the difference, but I had to wait for a day to get the cash, despite making three trips back to POTB to collect it. Additionally, when I got my bill for the week, there was a 4% surcharge for using my credit card, an additional 5% tax on all purchases (this is VERY suspicious, as no one else in the Philippines charged me any tax), and he offered to let me change money...at 15% over the bank rate!

Overall, if you go there with cash, your eyes open, and don't trust that everything is as it seems, it's a wonderful place to stay with great amenities and food. But if you 'go with the flow' and forget that POTB is primarily a business aimed at nickel-and-diming you whenever possible, you are in for some unwelcome surprises.

Complete ripoff compard to the rest of the Phillipines and other resorts in the General Luna aera. It 's not a resort, it's a backpackers place with poor service and a poor restaurant. You also have to share the place with local hangarounds and kids, witch is what you expect from a ceap backpackers place but not a 1800 pesos "resort" (as they like to call it).

We did not stay there, but wanted to organise a deep sea fishing trip for my brother, who's a professional in that matter. I called Mr Patrick and agreed that the trip includes a professional speedboat. It turned out it was actually a bangka-like boat with some small modifications (he called it catamaran) and the trip did not seem to be professional at all. There was no depth sounder/ fish finder. Mr Patrick didn't want to listen to our complaint, was very rude and we had a problem to get our change back. I would never ever recomend to go with him on this kind of trip.
