Nay Palad staffs are the most genuine and caring. Some of them are still in training and some have been working with Nay Palad for years. They all have the same caring attitude and try to improve on daily basis. The facility is quite elegant, spacious and full of island chic, and the private beach without rowdy crowd is truly what we are looking for for the island holidays. Food is really the star of the trip. We didn’t have to worry about anything other than knowing we will be taken care of. Additional experiences also come as wonderful surprises as we had very little research of the island. It is truly a enjoyable holidays!

Just got back from my second visit to Nay Palad. They've recently reopened after refurbishing from the typhoon two years ago. Still the best resort I've ever been to - but now with a new layout to explore and bigger garden villas. I'm very grateful that both groups I've brought have been wowed by the experience. I think most of the other reviews have already said the gist of what makes Nay Palad special so I'll just bring up a few more interesting tidbits from my own experience: - Management led by Vince and Janice is top notch. There isn't any other place with this level of service in the Philippines. One thing truly memorable about my first visit is that the wait staff flawlessly remember which person ordered which food and drink. They have some new hires recently that I'm sure would get better over the coming months as they gain experience. - My first visit, the kitchen was led by Spanish Chef Marc. They have a new head chef now named Pere who is also from Spain. My number one consideration when on vacation is food. I've enjoyed most of the food here both times so I'm going to say it's more or less a tie. - I really love the villa bathroom. There is no TV in the villa but I honestly never missed it while I was there. - The place is surrounded by a lot of greenery. There will be some ambient animal noises at night. Please also don't be too surprised if your villa is occasionally visited by some critters. - From my conversations with the staff, I believe the owner takes really good care of the place and the people - probably at extreme cost given the damage from the pandemic and the typhoon. It's a really expensive resort but I'd say both times that it was really worth it. I don't normally return to a resort that I've already visited but I would still consider returning a third time for another special occasion if budget allows.

I must admit that I had no idea what to expect from this resort. It’s unlike any other place I’ve stayed as an all inclusive concept. It’s so intimate and personalized for every detail from arrival to departure. The staff was superb, food was divine and activities too were at another level. My boys had full adventure from surfing, water sports and exploring the island. It’s the first place where the engagement with every staff member was truly 5 star! Special thanks to Vince, Elmand, Karl, Joyce, Eugene, Mj and Carla. And to all the others that made our stay exceptional! Looking forward to returning in the near future😊

Our second time on Nay Palad Hideaway… still a Magnifcent and UNFORGETTABLE Lifetime experience.🏝️💚 I must say still the BEST resort to spend family vacation. HARMONIOUS & CONSISTENCY is the key why we keep on coming back. We were at awe in all aspects when we first visited the luxury resort. We were equally 100% satisfied with the quality service that Nay Palad over all operations.💚 That’s why our family decided to come back and excited with the new renovated villas and design hideaway village after Odette Typhoon badly devastated the island 🏝️. With the resilient of the management and locals they were able to come back strong and guests can finally experience again the haven of peace, beauty and tranquility with a barefoot state of mind.💚 From wide range of activities (tie-dye making, kayaking, relaxing spa, island hopping, cooking class, surfing 🏄‍♂️ and private yoga class) you will never feel bored in this island.💚 Hat’s off to Chef Pere and his team for the gastronomical preparation during the duration of our stay. He always came to us to ask how our food ( main course and delectable desserts) and stay was. Of course Massive thanks to the Management Team headed by Vince & Janice and the rest of Nay Palad staff & family ( we even met his brother Hervey and his Mom & son Dylan)😄… for the personal high quality service and genuine warm welcome & smile 😊 and for making our stay again a truly memorable one!💚 Will definitely come back to Nay Palad🏝️.. a PARADISE full of joy, satisfaction, contentment and especially LOVE .💚🏝️

Nay Palad exemplifies how life should be lived to the fullest. When one works hard, she deserves nothing but the best. Choosing to stay in Nay Palad is a wise decision as it offers multifarious activities leaving no room for boredom. Nay Palad is a Hideaway suited for young and old. My family will forever cherish sumptuous Meals genuinely prepared by Chef Pere. Vince and Janice, including the entire Team, magnificently renovated the Paradise, much to our delight and satisfaction. For the kindness, warmth, attention and rejuvenation extended to us, massive thanks! There will always be a reason to come back to Nay Palad Hideaway, a paradise of love and HAPPINESS!

It's hard to describe the Nay Palad experience with words, but they can hardly do justice to this magical place. The entire experience is world-class - from arriving at the airport and being picked up by the wonderful staff and the unique Nay Palad van with couches, fresh fruits, refreshing towels, etc., to the planning of activities and every other detail. Arriving at the resort, you will not be able to get the grin off your face. You have the mangroves on one side - where I enjoyed SUP almost every day - and the paradise ocean on the other side. Everything you do is 100% personalized. You are welcomed by the outstanding manager, his super friendly wife and the chef cook from northern Spain. They explain to you how everything works, while you enjoy a welcome drink overlooking the Pacific. Then you are brought to your villa and the grin gets even bigger. The bedroom, bathroom, terrace, outdoor shower, outdoor furniture and every other detail is spectacular. I don't say that lightly. I arrived 45 minutes before sunset and immediately went into the ocean. I told the staff, I wanted to do some SUP and be in the water during the sunset and before I arrived at the beach, everything was already prepared for me. Just like every other day during my stay. I did 3-5 activities every day and just couldn't get enough. From surfing, to diving, to island hopping, yoga, biking, SUP, cooking, receiving massages, exploring the island - I would re-do everything any day. And there's nothing that you need to take care of yourself. Everything (from f&b, to towels, transport, etc.) is pre-arranged for you. You just share a wish and it will be your reality. The food is an entire experience in itself. You are always invited to meet the chef and his crew in the kitchen, learn a few new things, watch how everything gets prepared and just enjoy the variety of fresh and healthy food. The chef even showed me around his own little garden, where he gets a lot of his fruits and vegetables from. The only sad thing about the experience was the realization that like with all good things, there is an end to it. I will definitely return and can only recommend: experience this place for yourself!

Our second time at Nay Palad. Consistency is hard to come by and they somehow did it. You can review my previous post, and you can review posts of other luxury resorts that my family and I have stayed at from around the world and around the Philippines. Nay Palad is really a cut above the rest. Thank you to the Nay Palad Team - Vince, Janice, Chef Pere, Flo, Tim, and to the rest of the team. We hope to see you soon. If you are still contemplating on whether Nay Palad is the right choice for you, look no further. You will never be disappointed. And if it is your first time in the Philippines and looking for an elevated high-end experience, this is it. There's nothing else that can compare.

My wife and I stayed at Nay Palad six months ago. I want to preface by saying I had super high expectations of the resort due to the TripAdvisor reviews and most especially, the price - which is almost at par with international luxury resorts. That being said, let's start with the good. Nay Palad has the best food and service in the Philippines. Period. It's the only luxury resort in the Philippines where I thought both the food and service were at an international standard. After visiting other countries, I've always thought that the service outside the Philippines was of a different class and I've finally found a resort that meets that standard within the Philippines. All-inclusive everything was just icing on the cake and it was executed to perfection. Hats off to Chef Marc and his team, the food was impeccable. Absolutely delicious. Chef Marc made our stay memorable. He always came up to us to ask how our food and stay was. His service and hospitality was outstanding. Every staff member was super helpful without being overbearing. This is exactly what I thought I would get when they said "barefoot luxury". Service from pickup at the airport all the way to our departure was incredible. All-inclusive means you can do everything you want without worrying about the costs or the logistics because they would take care of everything. Service was also personal and specialized. They would ask if we wanted to eat or do anything special, there was a cake and singing on my birthday, and even balloons, a greeting and champagne in the room. A great effort by the team. The spa was okay. They hire third party service providers to do the massages. It was nothing memorable but still above average. That's fine with me as you can go everyday for however long you wish, so you leave the resort feeling super relaxed. Now, the only thing I didn't like about the resort were the villas. When you pay this much, you expect a room of a certain standard. We booked the most inexpensive (superior) villa and we were really disappointed. Even though it's the "cheapest" of the lineup, at the price you pay, you expect a room to wow you. The room was not really clean. We found leftover dirt in the shower area. There were also always dead ants on one of the tables, even if you cleaned it up, there would be more later on. (Must have something to do with them falling from the roof). Room and bathroom was also a bit on the smaller side and was noticeably a bit dated. The layout also wasn't the best. I later found out that these were the original rooms on the island owned by a previous company and were renovated. But, for the price, I'll say that there are much better rooms in a lot of resorts in the Philippines. Resort managers always say we should let them know of our problems while we're at the hotel instead of when we're gone so they can do something about it. So after the first night, I talked to the manager Vince about our room and credit to him and his team, he put us in a newer and larger villa (one, I believe was built from the ground up, and not just renovated.) The staff were super helpful in transferring all our things and the room was excellent and up to the standards we expected. So kudos to them for making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The Island of Siargao is beautiful. It's worth spending time in it. It's much more laid back and less commercialized than say, Boracay. If you're looking for the Island life vibe, this is a place you might enjoy. The resort can tour you around on a day trip and you can also try activities like surfing. Take the land tour as the island has some stunning places off the beaten path. Overall, we had a great stay at Nay Palad. If it didn't cost as much, I would not have so high expectations of the villa. But alas, my suggestion is if the villa really matters to you and you can afford it, go for the deluxe villas which are more expensive and skip the superior villas. Honestly speaking, even though we had a wonderful experience, we would not return if we had to stay in the superior villa, as it stands now. However, the care, hospitality and service really made our time worthwhile. If there was an option, I'd give the resort 4.5 stars, removing half a star because of the base rooms. Everything else was great and met or exceeded our expectations and I hope the resort can continue to improve and be world-class.
