My wife and I stayed at Nay Palad six months ago. I want to preface by saying I had super high expectations of the resort due to the TripAdvisor reviews and most especially, the price - which is almost at par with international luxury resorts. That being said, let's start with the good. Nay Palad has the best food and service in the Philippines. Period. It's the only luxury resort in the Philippines where I thought both the food and service were at an international standard. After visiting other countries, I've always thought that the service outside the Philippines was of a different class and I've finally found a resort that meets that standard within the Philippines. All-inclusive everything was just icing on the cake and it was executed to perfection. Hats off to Chef Marc and his team, the food was impeccable. Absolutely delicious. Chef Marc made our stay memorable. He always came up to us to ask how our food and stay was. His service and hospitality was outstanding. Every staff member was super helpful without being overbearing. This is exactly what I thought I would get when they said "barefoot luxury". Service from pickup at the airport all the way to our departure was incredible. All-inclusive means you can do everything you want without worrying about the costs or the logistics because they would take care of everything. Service was also personal and specialized. They would ask if we wanted to eat or do anything special, there was a cake and singing on my birthday, and even balloons, a greeting and champagne in the room. A great effort by the team. The spa was okay. They hire third party service providers to do the massages. It was nothing memorable but still above average. That's fine with me as you can go everyday for however long you wish, so you leave the resort feeling super relaxed. Now, the only thing I didn't like about the resort were the villas. When you pay this much, you expect a room of a certain standard. We booked the most inexpensive (superior) villa and we were really disappointed. Even though it's the "cheapest" of the lineup, at the price you pay, you expect a room to wow you. The room was not really clean. We found leftover dirt in the shower area. There were also always dead ants on one of the tables, even if you cleaned it up, there would be more later on. (Must have something to do with them falling from the roof). Room and bathroom was also a bit on the smaller side and was noticeably a bit dated. The layout also wasn't the best. I later found out that these were the original rooms on the island owned by a previous company and were renovated. But, for the price, I'll say that there are much better rooms in a lot of resorts in the Philippines. Resort managers always say we should let them know of our problems while we're at the hotel instead of when we're gone so they can do something about it. So after the first night, I talked to the manager Vince about our room and credit to him and his team, he put us in a newer and larger villa (one, I believe was built from the ground up, and not just renovated.) The staff were super helpful in transferring all our things and the room was excellent and up to the standards we expected. So kudos to them for making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The Island of Siargao is beautiful. It's worth spending time in it. It's much more laid back and less commercialized than say, Boracay. If you're looking for the Island life vibe, this is a place you might enjoy. The resort can tour you around on a day trip and you can also try activities like surfing. Take the land tour as the island has some stunning places off the beaten path. Overall, we had a great stay at Nay Palad. If it didn't cost as much, I would not have so high expectations of the villa. But alas, my suggestion is if the villa really matters to you and you can afford it, go for the deluxe villas which are more expensive and skip the superior villas. Honestly speaking, even though we had a wonderful experience, we would not return if we had to stay in the superior villa, as it stands now. However, the care, hospitality and service really made our time worthwhile. If there was an option, I'd give the resort 4.5 stars, removing half a star because of the base rooms. Everything else was great and met or exceeded our expectations and I hope the resort can continue to improve and be world-class.

Pampered and spoiled encapsulates the whole experience here in Nay Palad. On arrival, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel like family. It has been a gastronomical adventure of sorts, being able to request anything we wish to eat. Food is prepared by Chef Marc using the freshest ingredients, including any catch of the day. He meticulously pairs it with the finest wines in their cellar and ends it with a delectable dessert to satisfy one's sweet tooth. There is also a whole range of activities to choose from: island hopping, kayaking, private yoga classes, cooking class, land tours to name a few. The ultimate pampering would be the unlimited spa treatments that can be availed any time of the day. It is indeed an unparralleled barefoot luxury experience like no other. Thank you to Vince, Chef Marc, Claudene, Lloyd, Marj and the rest of the Nay Palad staff and family for making our stay a truly memorable one!! Will definitely go back!!

It was our first trip to Siargao and we fell in love with the island. Our stay at Nay Palad made it much more special - the team really treat you like family and will do their best to make you feel at home. We stayed for 6 days and we did not run out of activities all throughout our stay, as a matter of fact, we had to forego a few activities just so we would also have time to relax and unwind. Nay Palad guest relations team had loads of fun things to do for our 3 boys ages 10-8-4 , from baking in the kitchen to treasure hunts, tie dye shirt making and an amazing bonfire wherein they could roast marshmallows and make some s'mores. The whole family also enjoyed the daily Spa treatments and the great meals we had thanks to Chef Marc & Chef Rafa - I don't think I felt hungry during our trip - their ceviches were so good as well as the Paella Negre and the Fresh crab risotto . My kids had so much fun in the Sea Pagoda - donut boating, knee boarding & jumping off the pagoda was fun. I suggest having lunch at Coregidor Island - Nay Palad team will prepare an Inihaw feast :) Yoga with Loyd and Ron was also a highlight especially since I have not been to a live yoga class since the pandemic hit so it was so refreshing to have one-on-one sessions with really good Yoga teachers. We will definitely go back to Siargao and stay at Nay Palad!

It's our second time to go to Nay Palad and yet the paradise still left us in awe. We went there right before the pandemic started (end of January 2020) and chose to come back this November 2021 once the travel restrictions for kids were modified. Loved the new offerings like the jeepy and water sports (i.e. donut ride, kneeboarding). We gained pounds during our stay as Chef Rafa and his F&B team were AMAZING! Everything was just so extra -- from the best-tasting meals, to genuine service, to the lovely set-up & presentation. We definitely made the right choice to go back and temporarily forget about the pandemic. Our family had the best 5 days to relax and recharge 💚 Regards to everyone especially Lloyd, Marj, Em-Em, Larmie, Kevin, Eugene, Kim, Toby, Emil, Nelson, and the Spa ladies. We missed you, Chef Marc. Wow, Vince! Your team is THE BEST! Thank you again for spoiling us. Appreciate you all 🤗

We had such a marvelous time. We stayed at the luxurious Perlah Villas and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. The staff was sincerely courteous, intelligent and so friendly without being overly familiar. I highly recommend this resort. It's truly a home away from home.

After a crazy year my wife and I decided to take a break and we chose Nay Palad. Siargo is an amazing island but Nay Palad made it our paradise. The room we got was the most basic one. It was well stocked, spacious and provided all essentials needed. The amenities like the pool, bar/lounge, yoga pavilion and gym were all well made and functional. But what truly sets the resort apart is the service. Their attention to detail, genuine care/concern and consistency is truly world-class. My wife and I are decided that we will come back with the kids, next time.

We stayed here last Nov. 4-7 (I, my husband, and 6 yr old son). I wish we could have extended it. I dont know where to start. Their service is top notch, it’s one of the best, if not the best (e.g. free laundry, they clean the room when you’re out even without telling them). Other services like manicure, pedicure, foot spa and massage are included in the package, too (you can have the massage every day). The island hopping and land tour are also included in the package. And most especially, the food was great, in big serving! We all gained weight. You can request what they will cook for you. And it’s unlimited drinks. Would like to go back next yr, Cristmas time. 😊

Nay palad, not a very popular resort in comparison to amanpulo and others, but however one that is worthy of accolades and praise. Hands down, one of if not the best resort you can stay at in Siargao, if any the Philippines. It is surely underrated, and while steep prices may deter the usual backpacking crowds, it sure gives a bang for every single buck. No waste in ensuring our stay was memorable and proper despite the weather challenges. The staff made us feel as if we were family, and the food certainly did not disappoint. Chef Marc prepared wonderful meals, unique ones at that tailored to our tastes which we loved every single one. While it may vary per room, it was extremely intimate and we barely encountered other guests. There was a slight issues with less than ideal creatures getting into our villa, but that was responded timely and addressed by the lovely staff. All the excursions we had were flawless, and the staff here certainly made sure it stayed that way from the moment we stepped into the gates till the final moment of the end of our stay. The location was also very idyllic and picturesque, definitely a bucket list in siargao. And having checked out today (November 2) It was definitely short, and there are many more places yet to have been explored, but rest assured that we are already looking forward to our next visit. The wonderful staff, culinary diversity and meals, and ease of everything when here more than make up for the price you have to pay to be here. Oh, and the amenities are just wonderful to say the least, from the unlimited laundry to spa treatments and excursions, it is a sight to be seen and really be felt in person. It was a unique thing and for all-inclusive resorts, Nay Palad really goes above and beyond others. Incredible attention to detail and Customer service. And appreciation to the wonderful staff for making this stay more than stellar or what words can describe. Barefoot luxury at its finest, Vince, chef Marc, Kim, Em-Em, and the rest who ensured our stay was the best.
