We came to Nay Palad expecting a nice experience. During the duration of our stay, we were given treatment beyond our expectations. I came to Nay Palad with my husband for our 27th wedding anniversary and his belated birthday celebration. From the moment we came in, the staff gladly greeted my husband with energy that was consistent all throughout our stay. If I were to rate this resort, 5 stars is nowhere near enough. From the amenities, food, activities, and staff, these factors have given us the best experience we ever had. Amidst it not being open for 18 months, it was surprisingly very well maintained. I would like to also commend the staff’s hospitality. Name it, they have it. When we were craving for Singaporean crabs, they had it. Even our sunblock was provided; a sunblock for the face and one for the body. I’ve done yoga in other well known wellness centers for a few times, but even my yoga experience in Nay Palad, given by their yoga instructor, Alba, has set a new standard. I’d also like to add that when my husband and I chose to stay outside one afternoon, the buko that we were drinking stayed cold and refreshing the entire time.

We were very comfortable and they were able to provide everything we needed in such a short notice. Overall, it was ultimate relaxation & pampering. I for sure will bring my children on my next visit. Our stay was for sure worth the price. Nay Palad has definitely raised the bar high.

It's hard to find the right superlatives to describe our recent holiday at Nay Palad. We can say for sure it was the best stay at a resort we've experienced in the Philippines. Our every need was catered for by a very discrete but attentive team. The food was incredible and lovingly prepared by the engaging and skilled chef Marc and served in wonderful settings. The beach villa we stayed in was excellent and the overall integrated design of the resort is special, particularly because it is extremely well maintained. The all-in price approach is a great idea and adds to the feeling of relaxation and escape. The mangrove pagoda is beautiful at sunset. We think the highlight of our stay was surfing at Daku Island with the manager and two very friendly local guides at first light, but it's hard to say because the entire stay was a highlight. I would recommend this resort to anyone without hesitation.

Nay palad, not a very popular resort in comparison to amanpulo and others, but however one that is worthy of accolades and praise. Hands down, one of if not the best resort you can stay at in Siargao, if any the Philippines. It is surely underrated, and while steep prices may deter the usual backpacking crowds, it sure gives a bang for every single buck. No waste in ensuring our stay was memorable and proper despite the weather challenges.

The staff made us feel as if we were family, and the food certainly did not disappoint. Chef Marc prepared wonderful meals, unique ones at that tailored to our tastes which we loved every single one. While it may vary per room, it was extremely intimate and we barely encountered other guests. There was a slight issues with less than ideal creatures getting into our villa, but that was responded timely and addressed by the lovely staff.

All the excursions we had were flawless, and the staff here certainly made sure it stayed that way from the moment we stepped into the gates till the final moment of the end of our stay. The location was also very idyllic and picturesque, definitely a bucket list in siargao. And having checked out today (November 2) It was definitely short, and there are many more places yet to have been explored, but rest assured that we are already looking forward to our next visit. The wonderful staff, culinary diversity and meals, and ease of everything when here more than make up for the price you have to pay to be here.

Oh, and the amenities are just wonderful to say the least, from the unlimited laundry to spa treatments and excursions, it is a sight to be seen and really be felt in person. It was a unique thing and for all-inclusive resorts, Nay Palad really goes above and beyond others. Incredible attention to detail and Customer service.

And appreciation to the wonderful staff for making this stay more than stellar or what words can describe. Barefoot luxury at its finest, Vince, chef Marc, Kim, Em-Em, and the rest who ensured our stay was the best.

Our recent family retreat to Nay Palad was nothing short of extraordinary. Accommodating our large group seamlessly, the resort proved to be the ideal destination for a memorable getaway.

The staff's excellence truly stood out – their friendliness and hard work contributed significantly to our delightful experience. From accommodating the needs of our big family to ensuring every detail was taken care of, the team at Nay Palad deserves commendation.

The young adults in our group were thrilled with their surfing experience. The resort not only caters to relaxation but also provides exciting activities for the adventurous souls. Kudos to Nay Palad for striking the perfect balance.

While the price may be on the higher side, every penny spent felt justified considering the luxury, service, and overall experience. Nay Palad's commitment to being eco-conscious is also worth a mention.

A small suggestion for an even more personal touch – consider introducing name badges for the staff. This would enhance interactions, allowing guests to connect on a more personal level. Though we won't mention specific names, every staff member at Nay Palad played a role in making our stay unforgettable.

We will definitely be back.

We stayed here last Nov. 4-7 (I, my husband, and 6 yr old son). I wish we could have extended it.

I dont know where to start. Their service is top notch, it’s one of the best, if not the best (e.g. free laundry, they clean the room when you’re out even without telling them).

Other services like manicure, pedicure, foot spa and massage are included in the package, too (you can have the massage every day).
The island hopping and land tour are also included in the package.

And most especially, the food was great, in big serving! We all gained weight. You can request what they will cook for you. And it’s unlimited drinks.

Would like to go back next yr, Cristmas time. 😊

Nay Palad staffs are the most genuine and caring. Some of them are still in training and some have been working with Nay Palad for years. They all have the same caring attitude and try to improve on daily basis.
The facility is quite elegant, spacious and full of island chic, and the private beach without rowdy crowd is truly what we are looking for for the island holidays. Food is really the star of the trip. We didn’t have to worry about anything other than knowing we will be taken care of. Additional experiences also come as wonderful surprises as we had very little research of the island.
It is truly a enjoyable holidays!

From the second we landed and were picked up by the fun and beautiful Jeepney and met our first staff member from Nay Palad, Chriz, we knew this was going to be an extraordinary holiday. When we arrived at the resort we were really taken aback by how friendly everyone was and also how stunning everything was. There are so many activities at the resort for kids and adults and you can enjoy them all without constantly wondering what your exit bill is going to look like. Our favourites were a visit to Mamun island, watersports, a trip on top of the jeepney in a basket and daily yoga also held by Chriz which was truly a highlight. The kids and my husband adored the surfing with Mark and felt like he was a fantastic instructor to all. The food by chef Pera and chef Sean was varied, delicious and world class. So many fab surprises with every meal and we loved that we didn’t have to pick from a menu. The spa has lots of different treatments which are also all included in the price and we tried lots of them and enjoyed them all. We stayed for 2 weeks and the one thing which shone above anything was the people. They managed to provide exemplary service but be casual and fun at the same time. Jake for example was our favourite waiter and he also sang one night for us in the hotel, Angel was young but unbelievably professional and such a lovely girl, Chef Sean became a great friend to us and our kids adored him so much after cooking and baking with him a few times. Mai Mai, Jake 2 the amazing bartender, Eugune, Flo etc etc etc… too many to list and just because I haven’t they shouldn’t feel like their presence wasn’t appreciated because it truly was. We feel like we have a new family now in Siargao and we will be recommending to everyone and hopefully returning soon. Thanks to Mart the hotel manager extraordinaire for being the conductor of all the magic!

Staff greeted us at the airport with a higher end suv while others were scrambling for shuttles. Pleasant drive at sunset to the hideaway. The scenery looked like something out of Jurassic park along the way. Unbelievable. When we arrived at the the resort (calling it just a resort discredits it almost) more than 10 staff was out front there to welcome us through the gates. . I knew right then i was at the right place. . We were given a tour and the tour itself of the grounds that jncluded the culinary botanical section. The herbs flowers vegetables and fruits they organically produce for thier kitchen. "wait but thiers more). This is an island and so good soil has to be imported to do this but Nay Palad makes the effort to create their own soil from composting So that they know exactly what thier produce contains.

The villas are Special and each turn of the head was a wow factor. The design element That went into this is something out of conde nast magazie absolutely.
the floor to ceiling doors opened up to a patio that would have been sufficient To host a celbrity evening affair absolutely with seating for 8 or 10 with privacy in the backyard to host 30 people. all high end designer furnishings continuing the theme from within.

The food? there is too much to say. If you would like a buffet there are many options out there. This is an epicurians delightful dream. Nay palad has "michilen" calibur chefs waiting to create what you want when you want. We were contacted prior to our visit to just get an idea of wHat our preferences were. Guests are seated for dinner in various areas around the property and each spot is special in its own right . You decide when you would like dinner. Nobody suggested a time for us.

Activities?. We only had 2 days there so decided on the Island hopping. (highly recommended). 3 dedicated crew that made sure we had the time of our life and we did.

The grounds are absolutely stunning.... Privacy is top priority.... Staff is really proud of being part of the experience. Dont be surprised to see a celebrity or 2 there.

The place is stunning and stylish, yet welcoming. The rooms are new and well appointed. We like that there are lots of peaceful and instagrammable spots to relax and cocoon ourselves in.

The activities offered are varied and enjoyable. The transportation vehicles provided throughout our stay, particularly the one-of-a kind jeepneys, are creative and comfortable. The guest activities crew went the extra mile to take care of our needs.

The staff in general are among the kindest and friendliest we have encountered.

Their Executive Chef (Père Massana) is the most accommodating and accessible Executive Chef we have met (so far).

We wish though that the F&B servers would be trained better when it comes to product knowledge (a few of them don't know what the items on the menu are about, or what exactly they are serving). Details matter if you are a luxury and not just a 5-star resort. However, their positive attitude sometimes makes up for their lack of training.

An experience of a lifetime. 10/10. From start to finish, the service was the best we’ve ever experienced. We landed to cold towels, cold water and some fruit in our transfer. Every day we ate in a new part of the hotel, whether it be the tree house or on the beach, it was always set up with candles and flowers. CJ from guest experience took us on our day trips (all of them are amazing and a must do), he was excellent. Em at guest experience was the loveliest and nothing was too much for her, she made our stay very special. Pierre the chef was outstanding and the food was the best we have had in our 3 week trip in the Philippines. The manager of the dining area (I can’t remember her name) was so accommodating and thoughtful. Joy and Jake our amazing servers were some of the nicest and most hospitable people we have met. The hotel is beautiful, the trips are amazing, the food is epic and overall ambience was fantastic. The massages were also amazing and we had 90 minutes everyday (even the day we landed they booked us in). We can’t wait to come back! They really made our honeymoon so special and we were very sad to leave. We will never get over the amount of detail put into absolutely everything!

Side note - it’s a must to come when it’s not in wet season so you can experience all of the activities they offer!

What is the meal plan for this resort? All inclusive? Buffet? How do I get there from Manila?
Answer from IslandHop72
Ladera Ranch, California38 contributions6 helpful votes
Hello, NO BUFFET! Basically, breakfast are ordered through their menu (Filipino and continental). However, they are always willing to make ANYTHING for you. All their ingredients are local so they’ll make whatever is available locally including desserts. Lunch and dinner are planned, prepared, and cooked by the chef according to what you both plan in advance and if ingredients are available locally from their source (like seafoods or meats). You can ask for ANYTHING as long as they are available. The chef is on call anytime. We also had a cooking session with the chef and made paella for lunch. It was yummy! Bottom line is that, this place is worth every penny (and more)! This isn’t your typical all inclusive resorts that serves buffet or has a meal plan. They have 10 villas and considers full capacity at 3-4 occupied villas. Hope this helps! AJ
