One night stay in Rwiza village guest house where the wifi was good in the room and restaurant, food fresh and prepared on demand. The only problem was that the restaurant closed at 7pm. A boat trip on lake Kivu and Napoleon island arranged by the hotel. Great moment visiting the bat and monkey islands!
A little out of the way but well worth it. Absolutely amazing stunning view , grounds extremely well kept, nice clean friendly little room, easy access to the lake, great service, and very very good food. Large well prepared breakfast
Visited Kibuye with a friends when we well looking a place to stay we found RwizA village .. When we got there really surprised ( view, room, services .....) really enjoyed. Also Emmanuel (wwwbluemonkeytour.com)arranged a memorable boat ride around the islands and I really appreciated it also thank him. If you’re planning trip to Kibuye don’t hesitate to stay at Rwiza village cause it is very nice place to stay.
The hotel is scenic, safe and their staff are professional. They have a variety of food to choose from. Their cottages are affordable. It's equally near the famous Lake kivu and easily accessible by taxi moto or regular taxis. It's worth a visit!
We were here spending a weekend intentionally far from the noise. The pictures convinced us quickly and so we led our way here without hesitation. After some difficulties in the access “road” (a 4x4 is strongly recommended) we got to a place which looked like it had no maintenance at all for years. We were really close to leave and lost the reservation but the distance to any other place made us to stay. That was lucky as we had the opportunity of having one of the best weekends in this year: service was right at the correct distance and attention time, lake sight was amazing, and walking around the place was one of the most relaxing experiences. Of course they have simple cabins as accommodation but, what’s the real luxe if not to get away from the modern life stress?
