"Feel experience once in your lifetime at the real palace of King Boun Oum" the last king of life in the southern Laos. The palace was built in 1969 and has a main 6 floors building that combines French colony and Laos style. It is elegantly located in the heart of Pakse district the capital city of Champasak province.
The hotel though grand from the outside has not been maintained. Paint and plaster in the rooms is peeling. Wi-Fi is spotty at best. No restaurant in the evening.. grout in the bathroom time was falling out. Lamp at bedside did not work
the hotel looks grand from the outside. this is because the monarch used to live here some yrs ago. but when u enter the resort, the reception has only one person and rest looks like its not been dusted for a long time.
