Pretty happy with our stay here. As others have mentioned, the location is good. Rooms were reasonable, but extra star given for the fact that when we asked about a room with a fridge, a maintenance bloke appeared within 5 minutes and installed a fridge in our room. Nice! …
Coming here reminds me of my childhood days when my father was up for outstation and he would have us sleepover here. Nothing much changed. Cleanliness is good. Service is just all fine. Perhaps more toiletries need to be provided and room slippers.
Nothing great about the hotel except for its lobby & entrance where it highlighted the Portuguese history of Muar. The receptionist is no help in introducing Muar as a food trail nor knows where the Tourism office is located. So didn't go out to explore eccept 434 coffeeshop.
We stayed in this hotel the first week it opened around 8 years ago. It would be fair to say not much has been done to the place since. Nothing major wrong, it’s just tired. The location is excellent if using the bus. I would stay elsewhere in the future
Plus points: 1. Nice place. 2. Location was great. 3. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Notes to management: 1. Fixtures & Fittings requires and upgrade. Conclusion: Recommended for a 1 night stay.
"higher floor and river view"

"There are no good rooms here. Skip this hotel at all cost!"
"The most basic room have no window. Seek advice if you need room with window."
