We like the cabanas surrounded by vineyards and the visit of the bodega. The service however was not very friendly (not what you would expect for this price), and the breakfast was disappointing (e.g., no milk)

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings in clean mountain air and sunshine. You do need a car to get here, but the driving is fine, we had a small car, not 4 wheel drive. They keep the road over the mountains from Salta in good condition. Comfortable, good sized guest houses. Excellent bed linen, good quality bed. Breakfast is fine & filling, although out here a long way from dairy farming, the only milk is powdered. We stayed 4 nights and ate our way through the dinner options. The kid stew was delicious, also the humitas and tamales (local specialities, home made). The staff are friendly and efficient. The wine is good in this tiny and new vineyard, not too expensive. Overall, highly recommended.

This place is gorgeous!! The cabanas are beautiful and the scenery stunning. Set in a vineyard these cabanas are traditionally built but with thought and care and good quality fixtures and fittings. Large spacious rooms that all join with a fire, lounge with big comfy sweaters and a kitchen consisting of a fridge with icebox that works. A two burner camp cooker and all the utensils you need to cook. You can order dinner which was traditionally food that's delivered to your door just as breakfast is. Elvis who manages it was wonderful, his English was way better than our Spanish and he was happy and more than helpful. Only regret was staying one night as two or more would have been wonderful. This place is a diamond and the owner of the vineyard owns a restaurant bar in Salta too called Cafe del Tiempo which serves great food too!!! Note if you book on Booking.com the coordinates they give you are incorrect so google the place first, we weren't the only ones who got lost finding this gem!!!

Miraluna is a hidden gem. Located 8km out of Cachi, it's well worth making the short drive out of town and it's very well signposted from the centre. On arrival we were welcomed by Elvino who is the perfect host and made us feel at home right away. Our accommodation was a gorgeous private cabin (there were 3 of us) which included a double bedroom and a futon in the living room, a well equipped kitchenette, fresh water on tap and beautiful furnishings. After showing us around Elvino encouraged us to help ourselves to fresh vegetables from the garden if we wanted to cook in the apartment that evening or alternatively, Miraluna offers a small but ample dinner menu which includes all the favourite Argentinian fare made to order. We decided to try a couple of empanadas and tamales and didn't regret it, which we followed with some pasta and fresh tomato sauce with vegetables which were delicious. We arrived in the evening and we were only there for 1 night so we didn't go for a swim but we certainly made the most of the stunning views from the poolside whilst relaxing with a book. The following morning there was no pressure to check out at 10am ( the typical check out time in Argentina) and a breakfast of fresh bread, pastries & dulce de leche was delivered to the door. Elvino very kindly gave us a personal tour of the bodega before we left which added a special touch to the stay. We can't recommend this place enough - first class!

We had a great stay in Miraluna. The bungalow was very large and contained everything you might need. There is a terrace with an exceptional view on the mountains. Because Miraluna is 8km from Cachi, on a dirt road, we decided to eat on location. We ordered some humitas and empanadas to be brought to our door. Delicious! Also the breakfast was very complete and is brought to your door. We had a great stay here!
