This hotel is located near the center of St. Lawrence Gap. There are many small shops (Best of Barbados) and restaurants. There is an RBC atm 4 mins walk as well as Dover Beach Hotel (on the corner) access to a large beach for walking and surfing lessons. A short walk in the other direction takes you to the highway where you catch the bus to Hastings market, Oistins etc. Cost is $3.50 B or $1.75 US
We stayed on the land side in a family suite, ground floor which had convenient access to the room and a nice sized patio. The pool is directly in front of the room but it is very quiet as most people are at the beach.
The large beach is a short walk across the street. Go early to place a towel on the beach chairs as they fill up quickly. The umbrellas cost $5 US. You usually have to find the boys to install them rather than them coming to you. Also there is somewhat of an invisible line for the beachchairs. It's private to the left past the bush and the surfboards on the right. The waves are strong so don't wear glasses or sunglasses while swimming. Many have been lost.
The internet, because of the cement building, doesn't work well. Works great by the pool.
The rooms are large. One enclosed bedroom and a queen bed in the main area.
The bed and pillows are firm. The shower has good pressure but the water is warm at best. Takes some getting used to. There is only the toilet paper on the roll, no spare so we kept running out. Also had to ask for a coffee maker. Food and drinks are expensive and there is a microwave and fridge in the room, so you might want to bring some food, coffee and snacks from home.
The restaurant has great food and service. There is 1 free drink (rum punch) upon arrival. There is a small, well equiped gym tucked away beside the pool.
I would definately stay here again.

We booked this as a group through Virgin Holidays. It is a 3 star hotel but we thought it was better than that which is why I graded it excellent.
The location is wonderful, right on a beautiful beach. The dining room and bar also both have great beach views though the bar is expensive.
All our rooms were on the beachside of the property and other for those on the ground floor had decent sea views. The property is not new which gives the advantage that it was built with decent sized rooms and balconies.
The front desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful something which often lets down hotels. The dining room staff were not quite so good, so though we did have breakfast there we eat elsewhere in the evening.
I would highly recommend the hotel.

I had an Ocean view room, which was amazing, The hotel is a boutique hotel so I am not expecting much since most of my time will be spent on the beach and outdoors.
The hotel staff was very helpful in directions and anything you needed.
Upon arrival you are given a welcome drink while the get your room together.
There is a fee for beach lounge chairs and umbrella not expensive and the person on the beach always remembers you and is extremely helpful.
I love the location you can travel by maxi to go oistin bay or any pubs they have my husband and I walked and took public transport most of the time.
Barbados people are beautiful and I love visiting there

Thank you for this excellent review. We are reminded that there was a time when we greeted our guests with a welcome drink and not hand sanitiser and a temperature gun. We are glad that our fantastic location on the beach, in the Gap and in close proximity to public transportation made your stay more enjoyable. We really hope to be able to welcome you back in the very near future for another stay on our beautiful island.

If you have booked here, be reassured that it is a good hotel and you will enjoy it. We stayed in a room on the "land" side with pool view and it was large, quiet, clean and comfortable. The room and other facilities are showing their age so think "functional" rather than "stunning" and if you are OK with that you will be fine. We had a bit of noise one afternoon/early evening from a soccer game going on in the adjacent town centre but it did not go late enough to be a problem. We were warned about noise from karaoke but were not bothered by that in this room. The location is great, on a smallish crescent shaped beach with white sand. Red flag for swimming all 3 days there but we felt safe to wade and play in the waves, and it was fun to watch surfers. Beach chairs are included and we could always find one. Happy hour was good value and they have the best rum punch I've ever tried! We did not take breakfast (or other meals) as we found it expensive, the menu looked uninspiring, and the restaurant (although beachfront) was quite plain. However there are plenty of dining options within easy walking distance. It is a fairly easy walk to the Hastings area and a long but possible walk to Bridgetown, and it is also easy and cheap to use the "$2" shared taxi services. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the communication around booking and billing. We booked 9 months in advance and requested a quiet seafront room (it was NOT promised to us, but neither were we told it wouldn't be possible). When we arrived we were given a very noisy (right above the bar) seafront room. Rather than immediately offer us a non-view room at a lower price, the desk staff basically implied we had to take what we were given. We were subsequently told "all the quiet seafront rooms are booked a year in advance", which is information I felt should have been shared before we made the booking. There was additional confusion as the deposit taken and shown on the hotel records did not match what they stated in their email confirmation (when I got home I was able to confirm that their records were correct and their email was wrong, but it was a source of anxiety for us during our stay). Ultimately this was resolved and we were satisfied with the quiet non-seaview room at a lower rate but it was not handled as smoothly as I would have expected. Ultimately we enjoyed our stay and I have given feedback directly to the hotel with suggestions about being more transparent with communication both before and during the stay. This would have been a 4* review except for these issues which did impact our experience.

Thank you for your comprehensive review and your kind comments about your stay. We aim to communicate clearly the many aspects of your stay with us as we wish all of our guests to be as informed as possible. We are sorry that we failed you in this regard. We have only four superior ocean view rooms in the property and it is our most popular room category. This is due in no small part to its beautiful ocean views from the balcony and its location facing right onto the stunning Dover Beach. Two of these rooms are on the western side of the property and two on the eastern side, which is close to the Dover facility where karaoke sessions are held and also located over our bar. At the time of your booking our team would have communicated that the room request to be on the "quiet" side of the property was noted but that we would not be able to guarantee it. While we do not guarantee requests for specific room assignments, I can assure you that our reservations team works hard, down to the day of arrival, to try to fulfil them. This means that even if the request was not available at the time of booking, as we carry out our checks prior to arrival it will be honoured if it has become available. Even if it cannot be fulfilled on the day of arrival but can be facilitated during your stay, we also present this option. Sadly, in your case, it was not possible to fulfil your request for a room on the western side of the property in this room category. We try to be as transparent as possible in all of our communication as we believe that an informed guest is a happy guest. We will use your feedback in our efforts to continually improve our service. We are pleased that there were other aspects of your stay that you found enjoyable and we certainly hope that we will return so that we can improve on this experience.

The hotel is in dire need of remodeling to current trends and standards and needs to be cleaner. It is also very noisy and you can hear everything on the streets until ~3pm and then you'll be awakened by the noise of the guests and workers at ~8am
Otherwise, the beach location is great and the front desk staff especially Aneka are extremely friendly. The bar and restaurant staff are very rude, though. I guess you get what you pay for.

Our front desk team said that you did not indicate your concerns on the occasions when they checked in with you; we would have loved to try to remedy some of your challenges. We are committed to delivering great value for money accommodation to our guests and still hope that you would consider returning to give us the change to improve on this experience.

My husband and I stayed for 11 nights. The hotel is really clean and the rooms are spacious and have everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. The location is good and access to beach brilliant, we loved walking on the beach while looking out to the sea to spot the turtles.

The staff weren’t very friendly/smiley but we found that throughout Barbados, lots of the bar and restaurant staff seem to see you as an annoyance. We weren’t impressed at all with the beach boys attitudes, they left older couples like us waiting ages while they flirted with the young females. Also, the sun beds on the beach are extremely uncomfortable, the ones at the pool are much better.

We were room only but had breakfast in the restaurant a couple of times, the food was ok but the service was poor. On our last day when we had to be out our room for 12pm (we asked if we could keep it till 1pm but we’re told we couldn’t), we ordered a BLT sandwich and toast with butter and jam, thinking it would be a quick breakfast and allow us a last bit of time in the sun. I had to ask for our breakfast again after over half an hour wait, about 5 mins later the BLT came, another few minutes and a plate of toast came. It took another few minutes for the butter and jam! We went up to pay for our bill or we might still have been sitting there waiting for it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review. We truly regret that our team did not display the warmth and hospitality for which we are well known. It makes a significant difference to a great stay and we have shared your feedback with them as we do not wish any guest to have the experience which you have described. We are glad that you enjoyed our great location and fantastic beach access. We hope that you will consider another stay with us. We would love to improve on this experience and hope that next time you stay you let us know of anything we can do to make you more comfortable.

Arrived on 14th March after a long trip from the UK and was immediately greeted with a friendly welcome. We had a lovely big room on the land side overlooking the pool that had the most storage space we had ever seen! Our room maid was Donna and she was amazing, thank you! It was my hubby’s birthday on the Thursday and I had put a couple of balloons in the room but when we had returned from a day at the beach we found more balloons and a bottle of champagne which was a lovely touch. We had lots of plans whilst we were there but unfortunately our holiday was cut short due to Covid-19 and we were put on a rescue flight home. We were given a complimentary upgrade for the last 2 nights to one of the ocean side rooms which was nicer but much smaller than our previous room. One evening our smoke alarm went off (neither of us smoke) and the loveliest maintenance guy came to our room to make sure everything was ok. He saw the balloons and sang happy birthday to my hubby! (Through his mouth like a trumpet)
This hotel has it all, great food, drink, perfect location, friendly staff and steps onto the beautiful Dover Beach. Thank you for looking after us and stay safe, we can’t wait to return

We booked this hotel because of its good ratings but we were left very disappointed. The overall vibe was not very welcoming no matter how hard we tried to be nice. Our room was okay except for the door that didn’t seem too secure so we put a chair in the night to feel safe (we are from New York it’s natural for us ) the walls were a bit dirty and the coffee maker seemed a bit old. We were quarantined for about two days and since we checked in we weren’t told about any of the facilities we could use the hotel . We didn’t even know there was a bigger pool on the other side or if we could even use it till we saw other people heading there with pool toys. The restaurant service was way too painfully slow and overpriced and sometimes the plates were dirty with fingerprints . We asked for water at least two times on different occasions and it never came. Some workers at the hotel were very friendly and others were not so welcoming which sucks cause this is our first time on this island and it’s not a very good impression. We literally did not know what to do in the area until the hotel called us a taxi to take us to take our COVID test for going back home . His name is Andy and if you are ever stuck not knowing what to do please ask for his number he was our angel on this trip for out last two nights and even treated us for a night out for food on our last night. He showed us around some of the island after we complained to him about our experience so far. If it wasn’t for him and a lady next door at the pink hotel that kindly walked us back to our hotel in the dark we would have been miserable the rest of our trip. This hotel needs serious upgrades and needs to be more welcoming and inform their guests of other places to shop like convince stores, local shops, etc. We even asked if they knew of any excursions we could do and we’re met with blank faces and Just asked if we liked rum. Horrible!
Not until we when we checked out did the manager approach us since we filled out some review forms asking what happened and what the could improve on but we were so tired and couldn’t wait to get home to talk about our experience. He offered us two free plates of calamari if we returned but the damaged had already been done.

We really appreciate that you took the time to write this detailed review as we can honestly admit that without it we that would not have known the depth of your unhappiness during your stay, nor the reasons. We can only apologise that the experience did not live up to your expectations and that we were not able to do more to assist in this process. You stayed with us from July 1st - 6th, 2021, which was also during the period when we were affected by Hurricane Elsa. This system struck the island in the wee hours of July 2nd, 2021. It was actually only on the last day of your stay that we became aware of any concerns on your part. One of our front desk agents alerted us that you had left a review where you rated most things as good, but the physical appearance of the property, the in-room services. the quality of the food as poor and your overall experience as very poor . We did not have a single log, nor any complaint or any other indication, that you were having such a negative time. It is possible that because we are all wearing masks we could not see your despair however, even in the internal investigation which this review triggered, none of our team could recall any negative interactions with you. In the restaurant our Operations Manager recalled that you he had served you calamari, which you said you enjoyed and which triggered his reference when he spoke to you at the end of your stay. He also checked in with you on the walk through after the storm and you reported that you were fine. In her checks the Chef identified two periods: one on July 5th at breakfast where it was busy and your wait time was logged as 24 minutes, which is outside our service standard, and the other on July 6th at breakfast where she noted that you had not drunk your coffee and asked if you would like to have it replaced. You stated that it was too strong but declined her offer to replace it. All of our team, including myself, recall passing pleasantries with you when we crossed paths as you moved around the property. We have taken note of the other concerns you identified and thank you for making us aware. We will certainly be even more vigilant. Andy is one of our trusted taxi partners and we will definitely pass on your positive sentiments to him. We can assure you that we encourage our guests to review and, like you, we encourage all potential guests to read reviews as it gives a good overview of our property from a wide range of people and perspectives. We are pleased that 95% of our reviews are positive. However, we take every review, whether positive or negative and use it to help us to improve our processes, service and guest experience. So we would like to thank you again, to express our continued regret that your stay was not enjoyable and to assure you of our best intentions in the service of our guests.

We had an amazing time at the Infinity on the Beach. My boyfriend and I came down for a weekend for our birthdays and had a great time. The staff at Infinity on the Beach were so friendly and helpful in setting up some activities for us to partake in (scuba diving, sunset cruise, etc). Highly recommend heading down to Oistins for a great fish fry and atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the food at Infinity on the Beach; it was the homey island food we craved. This property also has a bonus of being in great walking distance to the St. Lawrence Gap for other great restaurants and bars. Also, highly recommend upgrading to an ocean view room. It's worth it!! :)

Located right on the beach, close to St Lawrence Gap restaurants and bars but just far enough away! We were there for two weeks and had the most fantastic holiday. The rooms, whist a little tired, were kept spotlessly clean, were very comfortable and ideal for our needs. The hotel was great value for money and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Hello, There is currently no music played around the pool during the day. We are a small hotel so there is only music on property on special occasions such as Independence day and Christmas, in our bar and restaurant and for aqua zumba held for an hour twice per week. We hope this information is useful. Feel free to reach out directly with any other queries or concerns. Warm regards, Renee and the Team

Hello, Thank you for your query. Unfortunately, we seem to have had a proliferation of unregulated events recently. We are trying to get this regularised. We would love to be able to give the absolute assurance that your stay will not have any noise disturbance however, this is currently outside of our control.
