Time Out is a lovely hotel, fantastic pool, great location, really helpful and friendly staff. BUT don't get the basic/standard room. The pictures don't show it but these rooms don't have a balcony and no hot water! Also these rooms are right above AMIGOS bar and restaurant. The noise in the hotel room is deafening if there is any entertainment going on in the bar below, which most nights there is. It doesn't necessarily finish too late, but if you want any sleep before midnight it is impossible. The staff were great and I got an upgrade to my room because of this, and moved to another side of the hotel - I can not fault the upgraded room that I had, lovely...peaceful...and hot water at any time.

My wife and I arrived at Time Out Hotel in Dover Christ Church. On arrival we were met with good Welcome Host Introductions, absolutely fantastic. Whilst enjoying our stay at the above mentioned hotel, I would look and observe everything that goes on around me. I began to focus on the staff and management. I observed the staff each day when I'm around and to my surprise it was what I was hoping for. All the staff there in my opinion are fantastic. I kept my eyes on three mainly that showed what it takes to keep things alive and be professional at all times regardless of rush hour or a quiet period during the course of the day. Bar Manager Celeste, strong and versatile.Keep things afloat An eagle 🦅 eye for things to be put in place and of good standards and practice. Leanelle bar staff, great personality, very professional, friendly, interact with everyone around her , fantastic. This young lady in question has demonstrated great skills of Leadership and enthusiasm, full of Dedication. Given the opportunity to progress, she would be a force to reckon with in your establishment. Tian very professional and friendly very keen in all she does.Shawn fantastic young man, great skills, very professional,gives one hundred percent very friendly and polite. In my opinion this young man needs to be place in a position where he can excel and grow more in this field. He has great potential. Ervine, a hard dedicated worker, will go the extra mile if ask to do so. Very professional, full of enthusiasm, dedicated to what he does, great personality,born leader in all aspects., very polite and friendly. I have already mentioned to the manager/owner of such staff are hard to find. I will be returning next year by God's Grace and I am looking forward to seeing such wonderful staff I've came across I must also mention that I met my Bodybuilding hero and LEGEND Mr. Darcy Beckles and his wife in person. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Time out hotel. Amazing location, lovely staff, lovely pool and the hotel manager even arranged for us to be able to watch the Eurovision Song Contest in the bar area. There’s definitely some bar staff at Amigos who can make a blue wave cocktail better than others, I got someone interesting attempts. But I can not fault my stay here one bit it was PERFECT!

This hotel stole my $160 USD. I booked the hotel for a night as a space to work when my home was undergoing renovations in Barbados. I was in the hotel for a few hours, and then received a note under my door saying that Internet services would not be available for the next half day. Something that could have been and should have been told to me at check in. I immediately went to the front desk and told them it wouldn’t work for me because I booked as a working space. The hotel refused to give me back my money. Never will I ever visit this hotel again. Had to pay for a second hotel after I was only there for a few hours. Thievery and horrible customer experience. They continue to refuse a refund.

Dear Nicole, our hotel IT team had to do an upgrade on our telephones and internet system on Wednesday, 3rd May . We sent a note to each room in the afternoon of Tuesday, 2nd May and advised our guests that the length of time our system would be down may be up to 4 hours between 9am-1pm. As you checked in early on Tuesday, 2nd, and paid for an early check in and gained access to our room around 10am that morning, when you received the note at 5pm and came down to speak to our team about your dissatisfaction of our internet being down the next day, we offered to only charge you for a day pass, and refund you the difference. Instead you demanded a full refund, which we did not agree to, as you were in the room for more than 7 hours. We are certainly not holding your money, we offered to refund you, yet, you refused to accept and left our property advising that if it is not the full refund, then it is not worth it. Please feel free to contact the hotel so we can action the refund we offered, as we had certainly provided a reasonable compromise which you refused. I would also like to share that IT team upgraded all of our systems within one hour, and we had no guest complaints in house. We look forward to hearing from you Nicole!

The previous time to my December 2022 visit the hotel needed alot of upgrades. That was 15 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel has been improved. It is comfortable, the staff are friendly and there is alot of food options. My only grudge is that the windows are not double glazed because of that all the nightlife across the road means a disruption of sleep. Overall this hotel is suitable for the younger traveller who enjoy a lively nightlife. Not so much a time out for older travellers. However that said it is ideally situated across from the beach. Overall i like the improvements and would definitely recommend.

comfy bed.......great location...clean decent room , a/c...safe ....plenty drawers and hanging space... friendly staff , swimming pool not the biggest but all ok plenty beds and towels,,we had superior room at the front you get the odd loud motorbike not really a problem....amigos bar all ok used a few time had some good band.......overall glad we stayed here and will return

I’d like to thank the staff at the timeout hotel this is our second stay here and we have already booked to come back in November. We came for my misses birthday this time the staff gave her a bottle of rosè wine for her birthday lovely touch. Location don’t get much better close enough to walk up the gap far enough not to hear it. Dover beach is all of 30 seconds walk where you’ll find food and drinks. It’s one of the cheaper hotels but it’s clean nice sized room. As stated we’ll be back Thanks for a nice holiday see you in November

My friend and I stayed at the hotel and were staying in a standard room. On our arrival the receptionists were friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the room, it was spacious, clean and updated we also hada balcony overlooking the playing fields. Final note on the room is the beds were really comfortable. The general areas of the hotel are kept clean and tidy. During our stay the receptionists were always friendly, helpful and informative when we asked a question. Cons - shower would need to run a while before getting hot and occasionally would be a dribble. Would have been nice to have 2 small stools on the balcony to sit on I appreciate it was too small for a table and chairs. Overall the location of the hotel was excellent, we enjoyed our stay and if we return to the Gap then we would definitely stay at the Time Out again.…
