Didn’t have a reservation, was just trying out different hotels in Kalibo. So far both Hotels I have been to was a pleasant surprise! Everyone was very professional, friendly and they assisted me well. Was fortunate that I was given a large room. Thank you! Bathroom was clean, as well as the other areas in the hotel. They made sure their place was sanitized, and health protocols were implemented. Breakfast was good too Cons- like what i read in some reviews, the room I got had no windows Coffee during breakfast could be improved as well. Overall, very satisfied and will recommend this hotel.
The bed is very comfortable and the room is big. However there is no window and the pack breakfast is not so good. The front office is very professional and accommodating and hands after their safety protocol. The rate is quite expensive compared to the other hotels in kalibo but it’s OK.
This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Kalibo. It's centrally located and the staff are so nice and helpful. There's a convenience store (closes at 10pm) and it's nearby the police station so it's quite safe. The breakfast, Cafe and the gym are good too. However, the walls don't have much sound proofing and there are rooms without windows. I'd still keep coming here as I have a pleasant stay every time.
We had our annual post grad event here last June. I also stayed one night at the hotel. Location: Near to the airport, around 10mins by tricycle (P100 fee). Right beside a convenience store for late night runs. Cleanliness: Very good Food: Free breakfast at their cafe, but not buffet. However I really thought the food they had was delicious. Staff: Courteous. I had to make several room changes and they accomodated me with a smile. Room: Small but the bathroom was large enough They have an outdoor function room to hold events.
Our family was driving from Manila to Bacolod, on the ferry to Catlican port I searched hotels and called this hotel for a booking. I stated we were travelling as 4 , 2 adults, a 10 yr old, and a newborn. I stated i needed a room with 2 beds for a quick stopover and would be checking in late and leaving early am back on road trip. I was quotes 2,599 PHP for the 1 night stay . I booked the room. Upon arriving at the hotel, very tired i must say, i was asked to fill out registration card, then they asked for my CC, then all of a sudden, they said i must pay another 800 PHP for the 10 yr old boy. I was very taken aback at that, i asked when i called and booked the room and stated i was 4 in my family, why did you quote me 2,599 and take the booking? The very uppity girl at front desk said , Sir, you need to pay that when check in, its not our job to disclose that on the phone. I said, Is this because I am a foreigner you are raising the confirmed room booking price, because you gave me a confirmed price and booked my reservation. They would not budge and we refused to stay there. Funny how I am sure no one else was checking in that late for 12 hour stay, so the room I a sure stayed empty . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, its down a side baranguy street and the staff obviuosly do not respect foreigners there. this is a 2 star hotel asking for almost 4000 php for 1 night, Ridiculous…
We were in Kalibo for an overnight trip. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were welcomed by their warm and friendly staff. We were even given delicious welcome drinks. After checking in, we were assisted by a hotel staff to our room. The room was spacious and clean. Oh, and they have hotel shuttle to service their guests to and from the airport. The hotel staff were very warm, friendly, and accommodating. We told them that we would just take the tricycle to the airport, as we had to buy some things before heading to the airport, and we did not want to delay the other guests. But the hotel staff were very insistent and told us that they would make arrangements so that the hotel shuttle can come back for us and take us to the airport. We also loved the food in their restaurant. All in all, this is a great hotel. If you're traveling to Kalibo, I highly recommend this hotel.…
I made a reservation for pick-up at airport, but they didn't come!!!! So we were waiting in the airport for a while and we took a tricycle to the airport. The hotel was 10 minutes from the airport but the ambiance wasn't really cool(it was 20hr30 so very dark). That made us really worried if we would be kidnapped or something. (that is the reason why we reserved the pick up service in advanced) In the hotel room, the bed was really bad, it made a noise every times I moved. The worst part was the equipment was poor. First of all there was 0 toillet paper, so I had to call the reception, and no hot water in the morning so I called again for the last we have to ask a hair dryer.
The staff and the owner were very helpful and friendly. I had a lunch party at their restaurant and the food was good. The breakfast was also good. They have a good selection of wine and a wide selection of dishes and cakes for lunch and dinner. The area has only fast food restaurants and it was good to dine in the hotel. It was quite reasonable. Wifi connection was weak so I suggest bringing a personal one is better. We stayed in the Family room and it was spacious and cleaned well daily. Massage service was reasonable and very professional. The shower head was not so good but the toiletries were ok. Their gym was ok. A coach was always there for assistance. The airport transfer service was efficient.
I visited Philippines for touring Boracay and Manila in particular. Kalibo was just a stopover and am glad I chose an excellent hotel for staying there. Royal Suites sent a Toyota Super Grande to pick me and my wife from the airport for free and I was impressed immediately, not sure how many hotels do that. It was just an overnight stay. The room was very spacious and more than comfortable, just very minor flaws like not having a dustbin and limited toiletries. But every inch of the room was super clean and it felt very secure as well. Didn't try food as we, as Indians, were just not at ease having proper Filipino food. We did have some pizzas from a nearby place. The staff were very polite and friendly, a characteristic I have witnessed everywhere in the Philippines. They gave us a commute back to the airport in another awesome looking Sedan, so despite having stayed there in transit, it was a very memorable stay, and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Kalibo.…
All staff are friendly and since we are not familiar with the area they helped us while we do our errands without . Our breakfast was good and have a good selection. The rooms are clean and spacious, comfy beds and pillows.
