We had to stay a might in kalibo but this hotel was surprisingly good, very clean and good rooms, staff were so friendly and doorman even assisted my partner to the shop! Food on rooftop bar was excellent, good all round hotel!

I was confused whether this is Redoorz Hotel or Hotel Metro. It was located close to Kalibo public market, walking distance to places I wanted to see (piña cloth making; pasalubong; must-try chorizo; walking distance to Gaisano and City Mall. Wifi service was fast enough per Philippine standards.

The hotel was unfinished and depends on which room you will be assigned, one will be lucky to have a complete set of furnishing. Most of the rooms were spacious but the toilet and bath significantly varies (most were small and tight) and the tap water has a foul smell. It heats fast though,

The corridors and hallways were very narrow, dark and takes sometime to get oriented with the room numbering. The rooms were not as clean. There are other hotels in town close to the same price that are worth the value for money but not this one.

First, remember that even though Kalibo is the biggest town in the area - - it’s still the province. That being said - - we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel does have 5 floors with the 5th being the restaurant & banquet area - - and yes, there is an elevator.

The hotel is in good shape. We had a king-sized room, which was nice & roomy. WiFi is good, but a little slow (but you’re in the province). There was no safe in the room, but I do believe the front desk has a safety deposit box (ask to verify). There are CCTV security cameras around & we always felt safe.

Our room came with breakfast, lunch, & dinner - - which we took advantage of & enjoyed. Mostly it was some sort of buffet which was tasty.

We were there for the famous Ati Atihan Festival. We probably paid more than during the rest of the year, but really, it maybe our only time visiting the Festival. The location is pretty good. Really about a 5 minute tricycle ride to the boundary of the festival area.

The staff was super friendly & helpful - - especially considering we knew nothing about the events of Ati Atihan. They got us a bag breakfast the morning we left & set-up our ride to the airport.

FYI - they have a little spa on the ground level that does massages. Take advantage of this after walking all day around Kalibo.

All in all, it looked like one of the best hotels in town & we would not hesitate booking here again.

Enjoy. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Very disappointing - Booking.com took our money and reservation, but hotel was not complete, still under construction and had dangerous conditions. First of all, Philippines in Dec/Jan and especially during festivals of Ati--Atihan (Kalibo) and Sinalog (Cebu), you must book ahead as every bus is full, every ferry is full, and every hotel is full. We planned our whole trip around the Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo. We booked almost 1 month in advance, before leaving the States. The hotel was NOT complete! It was still under construction. The manager and staff told us this was a "soft opening". They must have rushed to get a few rooms ready for Ati-Atihan on two out of the four floors. Entering off the street, it looked like you were entering a construction zone, not an expensive, fancy hotel. Unfinished entryway strewn w pipes, glass windows, concrete. The lobby was filled w construction dust, and was noisy. The hotel had scrambled to open just a few rooms on just two floors in time for the popular Ati-Atihan festival. The rooms themselves were nice. Very small, but clean, ac, and wifi. However, in the hallways, there was no paint, no room numbers on walls, exposed wires, construction punch-lists on doors, fire alarms wrapped in plastic! Let me repeat that... fire alarms wrapped in plastic! The restaurant and lounge were on the 5th floor. What a disgrace. Unfinished. Dangerous! Huge openings in walls where future windows will be, open concrete, wires coming out of walls, rain pouring through the roof by the bucketloads. Yet, through all this, the restaurant was open, and the lounge cranked out music till 1am. So obvious, this hotel took bookings for extremely busy week of Ati-Atihan, then scrambled to open a handful of rooms on two floors just in time for festival. This will be a nice hotel in future. There is a friendly, well-trained staff. Hovever, even if finished, I would not recommend this or any big hotel that has a lounge or night club attached during festival time as it is typical to hire dj's and have music thumping and blaring extremely loudly until 1 am. I would try to find a small boutique place w no music lounge. Not at all restful. Folks, look at the photos! This hotel was not ready. This hotel cost $82 usd.. an outrageously expensive price for Philippines. So mad at BOOKING(dot)com for not knowing this was an 'under-construction' / not-finished, dangerous hotel. (Trip Advisor..I have PHOTOS that show in detail everything I have written above, please allow me to post)

This was my first time in Kalibo, Aklan. Hotel Metro was my first hotel in the province.

The hotel is relatively new. It has two floors of rooms for accommodation, while the last floor is for conference rooms and a lounge.

The twin sharing room that I used for five days was cozy and comfortable. It has a clean toilet.

A nice place to stay in Kalibo, Aklan.

We stayed at the metro hotel in kalibo on january 19&20 of 2018. It is a new hotel whose construction was not complete. The room they gave us, 2 friends, was 3x3 meter exactly. No option to open 2 suitcases at once. The hotel is built out of cheap materials, the wood around the sink in the bathroom was broken, The sink is clogged. The lamps in the room were cheap fluorescent, allocated behind a wooden colored wall. There is no closet in the room, the air conditioner is small and noisy, parties and the noise of music until the small hours of the night, they did not clean the room because we did not put a sign, but they did not let us know about it, even though we received a very long briefing at the entrance. The wifi did not work. Breakfast included a package of butter, some bananas, a jar of jam with a knife, unidentified juice, small and thin triangles of bread, dry chicken pieces and other stuff level. Far from being a decent breakfast. We received 1 towel each ans they were wet. The only good thing about the room was many elictrical outlets and good water pressure. The only one window in the room is facing directly the opposit room's window across a narrow corridor, of about a meter in width. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is within a walking distance of the church and the center of town in which the ati-atihan parade was marching.

Relaxing ambiance when you eat at their restaurant "Sky Bar And Restaurant" feeling up in the sky. Their Hotel is in the heart of business establishment, so convenient. Rooms are big and comfortable to stay with. Staff are excellent. Service is amazing. Hotel might not be fully furnished, yet it can manage to compete with other hotels. Fridays and Saturday nights are so lively in their Bar. They can also accommodate big events, they have 2 function halls for occasions in a budget price. Overall, A great hotel in the future.

We book for the atihan festival, since all others are full. Expensive not worth the price , materials use in the room are the cheapest kind. After charging my phone, the wall seems like going to dethach upon pulling my charger.pillow was small & hard.bed hard too.
