This hotel is big with multiple entrance and 2 lobbies (East and West wing). Upon arrival, we ushered ourself to the reception counter. The front office lady in red uniform seems not really welcoming as she only entertained chinese speaker guest. When i asked her about taxi fare from lisboa hotel to cotai area, she gave unclear answer. The concierge guy, James interrupts us by saying its 100Mop and then give smirk face to the lady. Maybe they thought I was a newbie traveler and can easily be fooled. This somehow ruin my stay experience.

The check in staff, Mr Darryl and Concierge, Mr Anil are the real gem of this hotel. They are really professional, with crystal clear explanation and genuine smile. They made my stay in here memorable.

I would say this side of Macau is not for the kids. On the last day we were not able to go to Cotai area due to the taxis and buses were not enough due to the overcrowded people in Macau. If you travel with kids, I strongly suggest to stay in Cotai area as all the theme parks and kids attractions are over there.

The service is wonderful in Hotel Lisboa. It was my 1st time to stay here with my wife. The whole staff from reception, bellboy and housekeeping staff are really well trained. Luckily I met housekeeping staff YAM. He have great customer service and introduced the hotel facilities and friendly. Minibar also free.
I will definitely coming back again.
Thank you HOTEL LISBOA for your memorial experience.

Good location - you can reach this via bus & it is also walking distances with their bus terminal so you can easily go to different places in Macau. They also provide free shuttle to different locations. We were able to avail it going to the port.

The staff are friendly. The place is a bit old but it was clean & looks well-maintained. Toiletries, towels, robes, & slippers were provided.

Arrived December 31 for the new year. Got 2 rooms for a family of 2. Hotel rate is steep given the holidays.

Hotel Lisboa has its own grand aura but pales in comparison to the newer hotels in Macau. The rooms are wide and still functional but unfortunately we were placed in a smoking floor despite our prior request. No Hermes toiletries as reported but the toilet is exceptional. There is even a jacuzzi! Minibar is free and is replenished everyday!

We were thankful for the free shuttle to and from the airport. There is the Grand Lisboa help desk in front of the arrival exit. The guy personally assisted us from the airport exit hall to the shuttle bus. He even made us go to the bus first despite the queue. Good job, man!

The staff are responsive and very polite. Kudos to the admin and would stay again but maybe on the non-smoking floor.

Hotel Lisboa is one of the oldest and most historic hotel in Macau. This is a MUST try if you can visit Macau not only one time.

The room decoratin is old style but clean. Room size is large enough for me.My favorite thing is they provide the free drink in the mini freezer. It doesn't cost much but who don't like the small surprise, right? The room is not fashion one because the hotel age is elder than me(built in 1970's)

The location of the hotel is the best , the center of Macau. Plenty of nice resturant nearby even there're several nice ones in the hotel. I had eaten twice in the hotel restrurant and the food and the treatment let your experience the Macau history. Also it's easy to everywhere you want to visit from the hotel. There're many public transport just under the hotel. And it's not far away to any place in Macau if you take the taxi.

The best experience I had was bought by the hotel staff. They are still treating the customer like the old day. Everyone is kind and helpful. It seems all the staff want to keep the hotel trandition.

The hotel itself is a small museum and you can see many collecting antiques and artwork which were collected by the ex hotel owner Mr. Stanley Ho and his family.

It's worth to spend several days in Hotel Lisboa and experience the old time of Macau.

We had an amazing experience from this hotel from the moment of booking. We were in touch with the guest relations manager Angel who arranged for us to have a bottle of wine waiting in our room and the room to be ready early morning. We arrived exhausted from a long journey and were greeted and immediately wished a happy anniversary (this was our 10th wedding anniversary trip). We had assistance up to our room and later a gift was dropped by. We felt welcomed by each member of staff with some remembering us by name as we passed through the hotel. We also ate in the hotel Cantonese restaurant which was delicious- highly recommend the wild mushroom and pumpkin dish. Thank you to all the team for giving us the perfect start to our trip and place to enjoy exploring Macau.

Decades ago, Hotel Lisboa was the first 5-star hotel in Macau. Since then, there have been many more deluxe hotels built (including other hotel/casinos named Lisboa so don't be confused). The outside architecture looks tacky in 2024, but probably looked modern when it was built in 1970. The interior looks nothing like the outside. The inside is elegant and gorgeously retro. Inlaid marble floors, gold mosaic walls, huge chandeliers, curving staircases, and museum-quality art pieces in the lobby. The vibe is 1920s Art Nouveau meets Asian Revival. We even see art pieces from the personal collection of Stanley Ho, casino magnate and hotel owner. The rooms are elegant as well with carved pedestal armchairs. We walked through the flashy Grand Lisboa hotel across the street. It had an impressive shape like a gold lotus. However, the lobby was modern and ordinary. I much preferred the splendor of Hotel Lisboa. The room was spacious and clean. We ate the dinner buffet. It was acceptable, nothing special. I would recommend Hotel Lisboa to people who appreciate the grandeur of a vintage era.

Hotel Lisboa is located in Main island where there are all major attractions except for Cotai strip casinos. So excellent location and happening place with lot of casinos around here too. One can take bus easily for Cotai strip. Service levels good. The staff was very cooperative. The rooms were well maintained and clean. The views of sea side were excellent. Recommended for stay
They have bus upto ferry point too.

Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms good if a little outdated. The warren of corridors and shops can get a little confusing.
Very conveniently located for the main square, shops and restaurants.
Great views at night from the high floors (give the panoramic lift a try).

Yes, but only from some rooms, you should ask the concierge where is the best place. However I would advise taking a taxi to the waterfront for the best view rod

Wynn has poker and is just a few minutes away. BTW, you will need HKD to play. You will need to cash your Macanese Pataka for HKD to buy chips and you will be paid in HKD that the casino WILL NOT convert back to Macanese currency.
