I spent 4 nights here, and loved the mattresses and waterfall showers! love love love a good concrete hostel (2 rear dorms only at the moment). Keeps the place cool & it's easy to clean. The beds were thick & comfy, each with its own light & power point, plus lots of shelves to store your belongings. Full menu @ restaurant, plus full bar, lots of places to chill (chairs, tables, hammocks, bean bags), canyoneering & whale watching tours available almost daily. ATM right on property is money! haha Super close to everything in town, literally.

Location is perfect, right in the heart of the small town. Staff were very friendly and helpful with all queries and issues. The Dorms are excellent, large, spacious and with A/C that still runs during the day. Each bed has its own curtain and charging point, mattresses sit on concrete slabs which make it very comfortable. Shared toilets and showers are well ventilated and cleaned well. All in all, excellent value for money. The hostel is great for solo travellers, and manages to avoid being one of those that have large groups of backpackers so I'd recommend it for solo travellers who are looking to socialise and have a quiet beer or two. Organised trip to Kawasan Falls is slightly more expensive than outside tours, but would still recommend it based on the guides that come with you.

What a lovely hostel. I love the lounge area. Nice to meet people if you are solo. I love the dorms. They are big. Nice big shower. Clean. Comfy bed. Not the average bed you get by hostels. They have a little stairs in the middle easier to get to the upper bed. So practical. I have been to other hostels there. This is the best. Smooth cafe is dirty and not nice. Good to grab food or drinks but not to sleep. Pig dive hostel super tiny rooms feels like prison and not a place to meet people if you are solo. Definitely going back to Chief Mau ❤️

Stayed here for 4 nights with my partner in a mixed bed dorm. There were many positives including food, location, canyoneering, reliable wifi (for the Phils) and social vibes. My favourite was the large amount of space for lounging and relaxing in the down time.
The facilities are moderately clean.. could be better however not unacceptable.
Food is quite good and is fair priced considering the surrounding restaurants.
Would definitely stay again.,

This place definitely benefits from the best located hostel in the whole of moalboal, its seconds from the beach where you can snorkel, and seconds the other way to bars and restaraunts. The staff were very friendly, and offer daily tours, and there is a really nice social vibe here. Now the negatives, dont opt for a private room with no air con- it is absolutely stifling and a very unpleasant experience! I also found the shared spaces here a little grubby, but i guess thats just hostels. Overall, if your looking for budget friendly accommodation and looking to meet new people then this is definitely the place

If you’re looking for accommodation in Moalboal this is it. The staff here are very friendly, the rooms are kept clean and the restaurant has some amazing food. They have organized activities for guests like beer pong and yoga. The location can’t be beat right near the beach. No complaints.

Stayed here in one of the dorms, unique and comfy beds, clean, a good amount of space for bags and small locker for valuables. Staff were so nice and friendly, Dom helped us with any questions we had about things to do and places to go. Good shower and toilet area and a chill out area upstairs with pool table. Only serve breakfast since the last Typhoon had damaged the kitchen but lots of good places to eat close by. A bonus there’s some really cute dogs there.

Can’t ask for much more especially for the amount you pay. Great community led by great staff. Great location with a short walk away from anything. The rooms aren’t luxurious but it’s got everything you need.
Cheapest stay we’ve had thus far in the Philippines too. Highly recommend!

The place is cozy and very great for friends going out for a vacation.
Very friendly staff as well.
It's located in the busiest place in Panagsama, unfortunately during our visit - CoVID was still present. But still, overall the place is relaxing.
