This resort is very secluded and definitely “away from it all” which provides a sense of relaxation and peacefulness but brings plenty of cons as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the common area is beautiful if you are wanting to enjoy time by the ocean front. Its a pity the food is average as there is no other options close by so you are stuck. If you are to stay here you will require a scooter or reliable transport as several of our drivers refused to drive us all the way to the resort due to the very poor condition of the drive way as it has not been maintained. There is no shops or restaurants within 5km other than a few beach stalls on white beach which cant provide much and it still a few k’s away. No Wifi and everything has a fee even tea and coffee. Most of the facilities seemed pretty old and run down including inside the rooms. The bed is nothing more that a thin piece of foam on a plank of wood with old paper thin pillow which is half the reason we did not stay after the first night. This resort could be so much more if someone put some love into it. Most of the issues we experienced during our stay are the same ones people wrote about over 5 years ago so i don’t have high hopes for this place.…
One simply cannot ask for a better place to stay in Moalboal than T-Breeze. First and foremost, the location is simply fantastic: it is away from the dirty, noisy streets of Panagsama (but still close enough to venture off to it if you wish to do so), on its own stretch of beach. The grounds are perfectly kept, the hammocks inviting, the breakfast/romantic dinner nook exceptional, and the rooms extremely clean. The snorkeling in front of the property is exquisite; to be able to swim just a few feet from your room and come across turtles, sea snakes, and beautiful fish after breakfast is not to be taken for granted (and it definitely wasn’t!). Aside from all of this, what made me not want to leave T-Breeze was the incredible food. And I mean incredible. Best in all of my 2 months in the Philippines incredible. In fact, my travel partner and I only had one meal outside of the resort and instantly regret it. Every single dish we ate over our 3 day stay was mouth-watering. The kitchen staff were super accommodating to us, as we are vegan, and we spent a large part of our day dreaming about our next meal (special shoutout to the monggo stew and mango shakes!) (Also, I admit we still dream about the food to this day, 3 months later). I’ll end my rant now but feel compelled to also mention that the owner, Steve, was happy to answer any and all questions about the area and that ALL of the staff was super friendly. However, the best reason to stay at T-Breeze is hands down: Brandy.* see photo…
I struggle to understand all the good reviews of this 'resort'; guess people are too shy/embarrassed to tell it as it is. Tricycle driver was surprised we were staying there - found out why. 7km from Moalbaol then 0.5km down a rough dirt road to the resort. Nothing much nearby so you either eat at the resort (tried their Chilli con carne - very soso) or it's a 20-30 minute journey to Pangasama where there's a huge choice of good restaurants. If you stay here hiring a scooter or similar will be essential - cheaper to hire from Pangasama. Staff were friendly enough but because we arrived early we had to hand around until 2pm - not allowed into the room earlier. The accommodation - worst on my trip to Philo! Had the Hibiscus Queen room - basic Queen bed with a thin mattress and sheets with holes in them; no TV; bedside light was just decoration (had the wrong type of plug fitted) and the shower - what a joke. Just a dribble at best. There's a reason why the baldi is there (bucket and scoop). Toilet gets blocked if you use tissue paper. Next time I would stay at/near Pangasama.…
Here some pro&cons. Good: - you can rent a bike (400-500 php/day) - you can rent equip. for water activities (stand up paddeling, kayak, snorkel) - friendly employees - small private beach (not good for snorkeling but nice to relax and have dinner) - quite place (you can easily drive to Panagsama beach for day activities and come back and enjoy the silence in evening) Could be better: - no mosquito net (a lot of mosquitos there, we had ower own net but would be to appriciate to install one for other guests) - no card payment accepted (beside php also accept €/$ but only certain bills)
Fantastic location right next to the beach. Not too far from Moalboal and food places in Panagsama. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful setting. Rooms are a bit tired and have quite a rustic feel but clean and have what is needed.
Absolutely loved this hidden gem! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very basic with low shower pressure - but it was all we needed! The location is amazing, right on the waters front where you can pop your snorkel on and head straight out or relax by the water with a cocktail/beer and watch the sunset. Only negative (which impacted my trip) - beware of the eggs at breakfast. I ordered fried (not cooked properly) and had a stomach bug for 2-3 days which really dampened our trip and made travelling a nightmare. So just be cautious when ordering food. But all in all - great relaxing getaway and would definitely recommend!
no tv, no wifi, no phone, no music. can you handle it? at first i thought i could not but it gradually captured us and we had a very nice time and peaceful experience built on an old lava flow which ends in a ten foot little bluff over the water, the owners have created an interesting and pleasing series of little terraces and curving sidewalks that blends naturally into the harsh terrain. sprinklers help a wide variety of flowering plants which soften the hard lava surface. the kitchen produced some of the best food i have had in the philippines yet (i live here almost five years now). i would come here again just to eat! which is good since it is a long trip back to any other options. if you are alone or have a companion you are comfortable with, then you might want to try this place. we played cards, read books and my wife played games on her iphone staff was very nice, plumbing actually all worked (no small matter in the philippines) room was pretty spartan, no chairs for example, but the coffee pot and fridge both worked. this is ten kilometers out of moal boal but on a peninsula which has a number of other resorts hidden away. we drove right to it using our agoda map. this was very memorable for us in the end but nothing like we every experienced before…
a lovely resort ‘far away from everything’, peaceful and quiet place with very friendly, kind stuff, great food, internet barely working, but snorkeling with sea turtles and canoeing at stunning sunset at our footsteps… Very magical and serene place.
The T-Breeze Resort is really “away from it all”, but that is exactly what makes a stay there so relaxing. The resort itself is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food is good - if you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the right place for you.;) White Beach is a 10 min walk away and it’s easy to arrange tours to Kawasan etc.
it is a very unique place with a perfect location in a very closed, nice bay. you can swim right in front of the hotel, the garden is big. Dinners are good and you can enjoy the evenings in the common space. there is no wifi in rooms, breakfast is very poor and the maintenance in general for the rooms ( depending on which room you stay) is bit poor. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel, first 2 nights in our room there was no functioning tap water, ac was too loud and water pressure in the bathroom was very poor. it was a bit humid in the room and in general the rooms maintenance is a bit poor. It is a big shame since the location and spaciness of the whole place is very unique and it can be turned into an amazing place if you invest in it.
