I had a great time at Cebu Seaview resort and I highly recommend. I got Open Water certified with a fabulous instructor, Rene, who made me feel comfortable and helped me learn quickly. The dive site was beautiful, and I saw turtles and a whale shark!! The sardine ball was also quite a sight. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The wood-based aesthetic fed the outdoorsy and open-air feel of the grounds while still being and nice place to decompress - literally. The hospitality of the staff, especially those in the restaurant, was top tier. And, the hotel staff helped organize private transport from and to Cebu City. The area around the resort has yummy restaurants that I preferred over the hotel restaurant. The area also has great beach town vibes if you want to go on a walk to explore. This is the resort to stay at and have a great experience.…
We were the first to reach the resort through our agent WildDive after some of the resorts at MoalBoal were destroyed in the last severe typhoon. The place turned out to be a very good recommendation, comfortable, organized and well organized for Scuba Diving. Large rooms, great staff and services, a professionally organized and comfortable diving club, drinking water in every corner and magical dives (Pescador Island – WOW !!) The kitchen staff is prepared for almost any request and does its best to add to the enjoyment. We have stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment and every dive, highly recommend !!!
First timer in Moalboal and we stayed here for 5nights. We are so lucky to find this beautiful nice spot in Moalboal since we love diving. We are so happy on our first dive that we got to see a whale shark in the wild. Pretty cool! The staff are so nice. Cali, (one of the resort owner) he’s been very accommodating during our stay and even gave us some free drinks 🍹 he always makes sure to say Hi and ask how’s our diving day? one of the best quality of how a Boss should act especially if you’re in a hospitality environment.(highly appreciated) Rooms are super clean , well maintained and even their dive shop too. Jonel, our dive master is really good on his job. And Kuya Atet, our Boat Captain is helpful too. Cons> food selection is very limited maybe due to low tourist coming and they’re just started operations since the Pandemic hits. But I commend their Chef Joan and Joy for always making sure our needs are attended. >long ride from the Mactan airport 3-4hrs if there’s traffic so you better be ready to have something to eat and drink when traveling. >wifi is only accessible in the Resto area. But you might have little bar from your cell network from time to time. Overall, it’s still one of the best dive staycation we had!!!!Super Highly recommended💙💙💙 Looking forward to comeback again. -Riri/Steve…
We spent a long weekend at the Cebu Seaview Resort early March. It was a delayed Christmas Trip with my two ladies. We are from Dumaguete, on the neighboring Island of Negros Oriental. I wanted to bring my ladies to Moalboal to see something different after being locked up on the Island for almost 1.5years, knowing each nudibranch of the area by its nickname. The only thing we organized was the RoRo to the Island of Cebu. Everything else was organized by the resort. Booking: Painless! I send a message what I want, got a quotation the next day with various options and suggestions, all clearly explained. I decided for one package including room, diving and breakfast and transfer from the port to resort and back. Transfer: very convenient. Driver called us, that he is waiting at the port. Clean van, good driver who did his job well. (Some drivers in the Philippines will chew your ear off, when you really just want to get from A to B) Resort: pretty new. Everything well maintained and logically designed. Several water dispensers around the place. Could use a bit grass here and there, but that is critics on a level, if there is nothing else to criticize. Room: We had the premium room with veranda, facing garden and ocean. Good bed mattress, very silent aircon, mini ref, water heater, plenty of storage space and a lot of power outlets. Each diver with a camera knows, that this is at most places a pain in the b_, to get all your stuff charged. NOT at Cebu Seaview! Restaurant: Menu was still limited after the typhoon. However, everything available was tasty and it is enough diversity to feed a family over a long weekend with yummy food. Several restaurants in walking distance. Dive Operation (Cebu Fun Divers): Professional Operation with good rental equipment of what I saw. We had our own gear. Dive Crew is well trained and gives you a hand if needed. Dive Master did a good job, while we are easy to guide anyway. Diving: While there is some bad damage in the shallow reefs, along the walls like below 10 meters things are much better. The Sardine-ball is spectacular anyway and turtles are that many, that one needs to push them out of the way (just kidding). Highlight was of course the whale shark at Pescador, which was swimming with us first on 20 meters for a bit and then swimming 30 minutes around our boat after the dive, which gave us plenty of time to snorkel with it and taking videos. Overall, we had a fantastic time and if I see my two ladies happy and smiling, I am happy and smile. And smiling, they did a lot !!!…
This is our 4th or 5th stay at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort. We have always been pleased with the rooms, service and friendly atmosphere, indeed we were well taken care of. Aside from the breathtaking view and friendly staff, I also took my PADI Open water course, it was a 4 day course and my instructor was Rene Svoboda. I think Rene was the best teacher because I never thought I could learn the skills to safely enjoy diving. He was patient with me and also taught me the importance of being safe and present when diving and most importantly enjoy and discover the underwater beauty. In addition, we would like to thank Miss Hazel, the resort's front desk manager for accommodating our stay and to the owner Mr. Kalle Epp for making this beautiful resort. Huge thank you for all the staffs kindness and gracious accommodation to us, you guys are all awesome and very professional. We will for sure be returning soon, We can't wait to go back!…
I did my PADI open water certification at Cebu Fun Divers and enjoyed it a lot. I came with my family and everyone had a great time. The place was beautiful, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. A big thanks to my instructor Rene For helping me through the course. Made me feel confident and safe underwater. 👌🏻 Would highly recommend. Seeing the turtles and other sea animals was the highlight of the trip. Cant wait for my next visit.
The staff was very helpful and friendly! They always greet you with a smile. Make sure to look for these people as they made our visit very enjoyable: Sir Alfonso took care of our activities. Sir Kayo was our divemaster. Sir Datu was our snorkeling guide. Will certainly come back to visit! I recommend anyone looking for a Moalboal dive experience to seek them out.
2nd time to stay in this hotel. I'd like to commend Alfonso in their front office who is so accomodating. Pros: Beachfront seaview, modern elegant rooms, kind and professional staff that makes you feel welcomed, clean pool, clean restaurant that offers tasty meals, their dive shop is highly recommended service and price wise.
We truly spent an amazing time at Cebu Seaview Resort. My husband and I wanted a relaxing honeymoon and this is exactly what we needed. A quiet place and a stunning sunset. We also both love nature and we got to see turtles for the first time. Overall great place, definitely recommend.
Had an amazing time with the family. The Staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Dive guides were excellent and very flexible. There was always someone available whenever we wanted to go diving and their House Reef was super beautiful to boot. Lots of turtles!!! And the kids loved playing on the little sand bar by the beach. All in all an excellent experience!
