We stayed in December 2020 for day use only. We were looking for a resort with open spaces since we were traveling with a senior. Hale Manna was just the right place. The food was good though a bit expensive. The cottage where we stayed was quite big and had a view of the sea. It wasn't that clean though and had a lot of ants which fell down to our food while we were eating. They had a nice pool. There weren't a lot of people in the resort when we were there so we had a nice swim. The beach area was bit rocky though the water was clean. We enjoyed the complimentary kayak and paddle board. The boatman even offered to take us to the snorkeling site nearby for free! It was nice that they provided beach shoes and lifejackets as well. Overall, a good short stay. Will try to stay overnight the next time.…
I frequently go to Hale Manna with my family and I can confidently say that every trip is truly an amazing experience. Whenever we go there, they always treat us like family. The staff are amazing, the food is delicious, the accommodations are very cozy and the marine life in the area is one of the most beautiful you can find in the island of Cebu. Hale Manna is a very family friendly environment. Hotel guests may use the kayaks for free and life guards are watching all the time. If you go to Moalboal I would definitely recommend going to Hale Manna if you want a memorable experience in Cebu.
I always loved Hale Manna. The place is serene and the staff are accommodating. Yet I find the rates kinda pricey as well as the breakfast buffet 🙊 Nonetheless, always enjoyed my stay there. Would recommend to my fam and friends!
The room was very nice and the facilities were quite good. But there was an air of lathargy overall. Perhaps a remnant of Covid, but at their prices I expect higher standards. Restaurant was nothing special serving mediocre local fare.ynwife and I both got diarrhea after eating there. The pizza is good. We ate breakfast elsewhere. We had the executive suite by the pool and when we arrived they were using grinders to make new handrails. It's a big property so they could have done the grinding elsewhere. We complained and they did stop for awhile, then started again later. Not great for relaxing by the pool. The jacuzzi type pool was filled with leaves which they cleaned out the next day but neglected to vacuum the copious amount of sand from the bottom. Different family members own different sections of the resort and they say the matriarch who started the place is not able to run it anymore. Maybe that is why they are not up to snuff?…
We discovered Hale Manna on a Roadtrip from Cebu City. We ended up staying every weekend for a month. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The whole resort allows you to feel secluded and safe and makes it easy to distance from others. The beach has a nice Sandy area to lay out and the pool is fun. It has many areas to either swim or sit in the water. The food is also good. They have Handuraw pizza. The staff is very friendly and organized. They go around the resort to take your dinner order so you can eat in one of their many hours or lounge areas. The sunset and views of Negros is beautiful.
