Lovely place! clean and tidy. Very close to restaurants and bars and all the main areas and yet quiet and cozy! The hostess is very nice! Hot water, air conditioner, big balcony and the rooms are really big and comfortable. Really enjoyed and stayed for more nights Highly recommend!
The bungalows were lovely and had loads of space and were a great price but sadly we had the noise of building work right behind us so let after one night. There us also nowhere to sit and relax in the garden area because it is just dirt and gravel which is such a shame as it could be beautiful. The location is near to the beach and bars. Has such potential
We came here and left the same day. Bad maintenance of the garden, garbage under and around the houses, old, dirty bedlinen and cobwebs in the room, spiders in the bathroom. For a low price one cannot expect everything, but this is below standard. Staff never said a word to show any sign of interest in their guests. Even after we said we were leaving again, they never bothered to ask us why. My advice: stay away
The rooms are quite big for its price. Even though it's not beachside, the location is perfect because it's quiet, cozy, and has plenty of food options. They serve food, but there's always that place across that serves good meals, too. Would definitely book here again.
It's a few minutes walk to panagsama Beach and yet the rates are much cheaper than the resorts around it. Nothing fancy, but it is a garden so you are closer to nature. Rooms or cottages are spacious although there is nothing fancy about the beds or the toilet. Nonetheless I think it's worth the price considering how near it is to the beach and how each cottage is your own. You have a place to hang your wet clothes.
Simple, rustic but good sized huts. Good value and helpful staff, generally i liked the location as i enjoyed the short stroll to eat/drink/dive, however, the nearby disco on saturday nights is noisy but not not the end of the world. The 'garden' setting is great but some tidying up is in order of the grounds.
Low point of our trip to the Phillippines was staying here. After a long journey we arrived to a dirty bungalow, terribly stained sheets and towels, no water, an incredible mosquito problem, and NO toilet seat - at all... The water was very intermittent, sheets and towels gross but bearable, no toilet seat was disappointing. We were not warned and no apologies given - a free dinner even would have been great! With 5 nights ahead of us my husband spoke to the staff who's reply was "we think it is broken", obviously broken as there was nothing there. We requested a new room or a new toilet seat but they were unwilling to do either. We even tried to find one ourselves. After 2 nights trying to stay positive and enjoy our holiday we cut our loses and left Moalboal for much nicer and cheaper accommodation in Bohol. Would not recommend, you can find cheaper, nicer, closer to the beach places with a fun vibe.…
The sraff was so nice. Very clean and big roons. Near from many dive centers, a mini market and the main city point. Close to the beach. The hotel'sbar sell a very cold beer, thing not easy to find here.
We had the air-con bungalow, some initial problems with check in as the Agoda booking was not reserved on the right day in their own system but they sorted it out quickly. Great facilities, the houses are well maintained. good location near the beach. Wifi is good. Staff is friendly. If you are an early and light sleeper, this might not be for you as the bar next to the resort has live music till 1 am which is very loud and can be heard throughout the whole property, so bring some earplugs. We booked breakfast take away(some sandwiches) the night before as we were leaving early to Mactan-Cebu Airport and the restaurant wasn't serving breakfast at that time and also booked a taxi for the airport with them. When we left the security guards did not know about the sandwiches nor the transportation. Thankfully a staff member just arrived to start her shift and found out that the sandwiches were given to the wrong guests who apparently also left early to the airport with a taxi booked through them. She acted accordingly by refunding back amount we paid for it and offered us some plain bread for free. There was some slight panic and quarreling among her and the security guard which made us stress a bit for our airport transfer. The taxi driver came later than booked about 20 min(might this had to do with the other guests also leaving early?) But did not affect our flight schedule. So overall mixed feelings, loved the cottage accommodation but staff might need some training to refine the attention for details and communication.…
1. Expect the place to be swarmed with mosquitos due to too many plants. 2. Mosquito net was full of holes. My mom and I rented out the cottage fan room, and the mosquito net was full of holes!! What's the use, right? 3. Night light wasn't working. Electric fuse was too loose to make it work. 4. No slippers were given. 5. Placement of shower at the bathroom can cause an accident as it will directly hit the light switch once opened.
