Great location. Free breakfast, but a limited selection from a list. Other meals were pretty good. Beds ok, though the family room has a double plus two singles, and the double isn't really good for two adults. Shower worked and was warm enough. Staff were good. Well kept buildings, grounds and pool. Good price for all this.

I have to say the restaurant in Eve's was much beyond my expectation: cheap, well cooked, clean and quiet ambience. I could barely see a fly or other insects in there. As it was closed to the garden, I felt fresh and pleasant. All of our meals (breakfast and lunch) were served with reasonable speed. The price was lower than most of the restaurants outside(even cheaper than some kiosks). It was quite surprising to me. I wouldn't say the food is the best in Moalboal...but to my family who were rush to both morning and afternoon dives, well cooked meals with fair price were satisfying already. We booked 2 twin rooms. Our rooms were clean but it looked quite old and the showers were weak. HOWEVER, Eve's staff helped to fix it in the morning after we had reported them at 10pm last night. They were indeed responsible and helpful. Also Eve's garden and pool looked so great too.

Oh dear how depressing - we wanted to leave as soon as we opened the door - it was after 9pm so basically had no choice - no view - sad tired room with old linen - only good thing was that we had a place to dry our wetsuits. 2nd day we had no electricity or water - so went diving Booked 3 nights ... left after two..... no one noticed - horrible place, a throwback from 20 years ago ... but pool looked ok ....

Three starts ONLY because of the dive shop.Nelson's dive shop located right next to the hotel is one of the oldest, most accommodating and reasonable shop in moalboal. We did two dives with them and were more than satisfied. On the other hand, the hotel is quite the opposite. The rooms were dirty. A part of the bathroom was always flooded, the air-conditioning did not work well and there were HUGE cockroaches in both the rooms. Will surely dive with the same guys again, but will look for another place to stay.

Our friend took us to Oslob and Moalboal and made the arrangements for diving and overnight stay. The location is good, right next to the dive center and a short walk to the dive boat. Our room was right by the pool. A bed, a closet and a very small desk/table attached to the wall. That was it. Not even a chair.... The pool was a bit cloudy. We had lunch in the restaurant and it was ok. We didn't pay for the rooms, so I cannot comment on the value, but I sure hope it was inexpensive.

The place has a good location, just close to the beach and all main spots. The rooms could be a bit cleaner and better-furnished. Also beacuse of the power-cut, we didn't have water for almost the whole day. There was no Wi-fi in the room.

The staff and the owner were very friendly, indeed. They welcomed me and accommodated my concerns with everything they can.. Simply said, I felt at home. One last thing, the ambiance of the place was serene and peaceful. It was free from the tormenting noise of vehicles.. This place helped me relax myself and clear off my mind with troubles. Would highly recommend this!

It was an awful stay, glad it was only one night: 1 - the room was filthy and didn't look good. 2 - the air-co (that we pay more for it) didn't chill the room 3 - after few hours the toilet stopped flushing. 4 - after we complained about the toilet, they ran out of water in the whole complex. Nothing been done by the staff. Very very not recommended!!

If you are looking for a budget stay for the dive trip, this is a good option. The room is spacious on the old wing ( few room), and just enough to move around for 2 in the new wing(in front of swimming pool) Downside of staying the in the old wing is that it's very annoying when the staff starts to move the chair & tables around and talking right outside your window at 4am! There're some inconsiderate guest would talk loudly outside the window which disturb our sleeps ( we took 3 rooms) The owner might not be very friendly but some of the staff is good. And i did experienced that the air con was down and i have to bunk into friend's room for 1 night. When request them to change the room, they say the hotel is full. need a small make up for the old wing rooms.
