A European/Filipino couple built themselves a dream house I guess and added a building (another is under construction) to rent out to tourists, behind their house. So the main house with the ocean view is theirs. The building for tourists has the very left room (standing in front of the building) where you can see the sea in the distance.
The room was very nice, clean, with a fridge, AC, made up every day except on the last day, fresh towels and the electric shower was good too.
The restaurant/bar sits on the waterfront and it's a very nice view when you eat.
Included American Breakfast was the same every day but we didn't mind as it was filling and a good start for the day. The food was always freshly cooked, very good and well priced. The Filipino staff were very nice.
The resort is out of the way but you can walk to Pangsama Beach and the village in 30 min. Just take a torch at night. The shore is rocky and you can't walk along it, maybe a bit during low tide. The snorkelling on the house reef is great. Use the pier to get to the deep end during low tide.
Our stay would have been a nice quiet experience if it wasn't for the owners' local Western friends that stopped by every afternoon around 5pm and hang out in the restaurant, being very noisy, embarrassingly stereotype and not using the nicest language (TMI). They also hung out in the water sometimes with a surfboard full of drinks (El Arenal, Mallorca style or the kind of Westerns that go to Phuket). If they want the music turned up in the bar, that's what happens. The guests don't matter. Therefore quiet you can have before 5pm but not from then on. As I don't want to associate with such people I wouldn't come back here.
The room internet was very slow in the evening although only 3 rooms used it.

The hotel itself and its grounds and the very friendly attitude of the staff were very much enjoyed.
First line, peace and quiet, daily cleaning of the rooms, very delicious food in their restaurant. Yes, the bed linen was changed every other day.
It just so happened that at eight o'clock in the morning we had to go diving, and breakfast at the hotel was only supposed to start at that time. They approached the owner, explained the situation to her, and especially for us, the chef came to the hotel by 7:00 in the morning and made us breakfast.
Right in the hotel rented motorcycles, the price came out lower than in Moalboal itself. They gave us a canyon tour of Kawasan Falls.
Only the best experience!
Thank you so much!

Well appointed room, private, peaceful and secluded from the surrounding mayhem that is Basdiot/Moabol. Absolute waterfront with private beach and good swimming when tide is fuller. Local dive boats visit a wall out the front but vis was very poor when we snorkelled there. Restaurant is ok. Staff are friendly and happy but beware of Paul who’s only motive is personal profit skimming off the top (500 p on the taxi fare to Mactan airport) for anything he touches and he is very enthusiastic.

At first I thought it was a bit far off, but no, it’s a haven!
Relaxed, super nice staff, great food, lovely and stylish room. Great food too!
Very happy I didn’t stay in Moalboal Village (for the young party seekers), and away from White Beach (crowded, touristy).
I recommend this place without a doubt!

Small resort with 3 bungalows and private beach where you can go snorkeling and see the turtles. Super friendly staff that help you with everything, good food at the restaurant. Just bit more variety needed for breakfast

When we arrived we were so happy with this place. Quiet and relaxing with an amazing spot for the sunset with a nice bar to enjoy it. Rooms are comfy but basic which is fine. But there were issues. The main reason we stayed is for the prospect of snorkelling off the beach but when we went to rent equipment, not one set of goggles and snorkels were functional which was very frustrating seeing as this was one of the main reasons for going to Tauig. The breakfast basically poor, we ended up just having mango instead of the ‘American’ breakfast. TV signal is intermittent but not a big issue as we were hardly in the room. Staff were all lovely though. Small changes and this is a 5/5
