The PADI dive center is great - very professional and friendly staff - a very special thanks to Arnel our super dive master who guided us for every dive and showed us great variety of species. The hotel is old, needs renovation, beds are not comfortable aircon extremely noisy. I had booked a sea view bungalow and was disappointed to find upon arrival (without advance warning) that it had been double booked and was not available except for the last night. I was reimbursed of the difference but it was unprofessional. The staff is nice but minimum waiting time to be served in the restaurant is 30 mn.

I recently visited the resort with my friend, she was doing her PADI and I did 5 dives with the team over 2 days. Great team, incredible dives, very professional and lovely environment. Can't recommend diving with Quo Vadis enough! Thanks so much for a great experience!

Fantastic diving! Completed my Open Water course with Reiss, who is a fantastic instructor. Everybody is incredibly nice, very helpful, and I always felt like I was in good hands. They certainly put safety first, which hasn't been my experience at some other dive resorts. Highly recommend that anyone looking to do some diving, whether a PADI course or just a couple of discover dives, visit Quo Vadis.

Love the hotel, staff are friendly and the location are great, just a short walk to the main busy area but far enough to have a quiet time. Short walk to the turtle and sardine run. The room are ok size, bed can be hard for some but suit me well. The aircon work very well, but the shower pressure is below average. The restaurant view was amazing, especially if you pick the window seat, we stay there for hour after breakfast just to enjoy the nice breeze more importantly the magnificent view. The reception and restaurant staff are very friendly. We have a early tour which will miss the breakfast, they kindly arrange sandwiches and banana to take with us. I will definitely come back again !

Great stay and great staff. Loved the sea view! Special mention to kuya guard and the guy at the front desk - very accommodating and to the female attendant at Arista who gave me vinegar for my jellyfish sting (got this near the mermaid statue, not at the resort lol). Would definitely stay here again. I miss you Quo Vadis!

We have just spent 3 nights at Quo Vadis and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a standard room which was sufficient for our stay. I’ve given four star for the overall experience of our stay. Breakfast while basic was sufficient and the ladies in the dining area are super friendly and helpful even packing us a sandwich, fruit and water when we headed off for an early start to Olsob (whale sharks). The wi-fi is decent in your room and the dining area. The location is perfect easy walk through the village to get food, drinks or access multiple points to go snorkeling. All the staff in the resort are very friendly and willing to do whatever to help, we will be back for sure. One negative - the water pressure in our shower was HORRIBLE.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the location is amazing as the resort is close to the sardine run and close to lots of bars and restaurants and the dive centre is really well run with friendly staff and excellent facilities. Sheena in reception was so helpful, and we wanted to give her a special mention as she evicted a few cockroaches for us and was very helpful with arranging transfers. If we are honest, the accommodation itself was a bit underwhelming and average and looked a bit tired decoratively for what we paid. We stayed in room 7 which had a fantastic view of the sea which was magical at sunset. We liked that each room had a seating area outside with a place to hand wet clothing / bathing suits. We did like that there was a safe in the room which was helpful. However the pillows were pretty chunky and uncomfortable, there was a cheap blanket on the bed and the towels whilst clean were often frayed. The light next to my bed had a frayed cable and so the light didn’t work properly. The sink in our room was leaking out onto the floor which we mentioned to the cleaner. We poured cold tea down the drain and the tea leaked out on the floor so this is how we knew it was coming from the sink. Not nice to clean your teeth and have the water then leak out on the floor to then stand in it. The shower also didn’t drain properly. Whilst the cleaner came in every day and changed out our towels and gave things a superficial clean, the shower glass panel and taps are all in need of a proper clean with some limescale remover / vinegar. It was helpful that our room had air conditioning and a fan. We also had a fridge with drinks you could purchase and where you could store water and there was a kettle and free tea and coffee which was a nice touch. There is a courtyard behind the air con unit in room 7 and there are lots of dogs (pets) in a neighbouring property that barked noisily at all hours of the night, so our sleep was disrupted every night. We only had dinner in the main restaurant once and the service was ok and we found that other local restaurants were cheaper and better quality. The view however in the restaurant is lovely; especially if you want to sit and watch the sunset. The marketing material markets the pool being a swim up where you can order drinks. However, throughout our 5 night stay there was never anyone there to serve guests and you had to go in to the restaurant to order and they were often on their phones. It would have been nice for them to have shown some proactivity and to have come out to see if people wanted to order some drinks. The resort does have a well run dive centre with excellent facilities, and we enjoyed our diving and the convenience of staying as divers in the resort. The resort itself is a 5 minute walk or 10 minute snorkel / swim to the sardine run which was brilliant. The sea view from this resort and the easy access to the sea is a massive plus and when you snorkel outside you see lots of turtle and fish which was magical. Some small improvements as mentioned above and more proactivity from restaurant staff would help improve the stay for future guests - this didn’t detract from our enjoyment of staying here.

Rooms are clean and nice, good pool and location, but the large waterfront is to die for...Short walk along the water to the small town, other small shops etc close by. Large green grounds that are great to relax in, and you can snorkel/dive straight from thge front. Dives were great, good gear and good price.

The best dive centre I’ve ever been to. John and his team run a great ship. Relaxed but professional, fun but safe. Cameron was my instructor for the advanced course a few weeks ago and was the best I’ve ever had across 25 dives around the world. The final dive was in a sardine vortex, amazing!

PROS: WHERE do I start? Visually appealing buildings on beautifully kept grounds. Warm friendly staff. Very accommodating as to working with you to schedule diving lessons. A bar with underwater stools at one end of their pool. An upstairs classroom with big screen to watch diving training videos without distraction Their on site restaurant is my favourite of all I've tried in the Philippines, and is exclusive to guests only (no walk ins off the street). The food is very good, prices economical, and you have a 180-degree view of the waterfront from the restaurants high elevation. Enjoy dinner or a beer or cocktail while watching the sun set on the Pacific Ocean. Rooms your choice from economy to a big suite with a view of the Pacific from top of the cliff at Beach Edge. You can walk from the resort down some incline and directly onto the beach. And the warmest friendliest staff in the galaxy!!! Even the guests were super friendly. I'll be back for sure. Cons: Honestly cannot think of even one thing to complain about or criticise.
