Michael and Narissa have been the most wonderful hosts throughout my trip and the whole staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. I stayed at the resort for about 10 days and by the end of my journey, I really felt like I was a part of the Blue Orchid Resort family. Some highlights for me were 1. the Room - very spacious and comfortable. The balcony opens up straight to the ocean and the view is unbeatable. The whole vibe is of that from one of Hemingway novels. 2. Scuba Diving - I did about 18-20 dives throughout the course of my stay. Jeff who is the dive master at the resort is full of knowledge and very keen on ensuring you get the best sights under water. I can be very confident in saying that after diving with Jeff, I am a much better diver. The location itself is great of diving as the resort beach access takes you strength to one of the most healthy coral reefs. I could do shore dives at my leisure and was always greeted with awesome aquatic life. 3 the hosts and staff - the resort owners (Michale and Narissa) have been the most cordial and forthcoming throughout my stay. In some cases they have gone out of their way to assist me. For instance my phone broke down during my stay and I tried fixing it with local shops but they could not. However Narissa and her brother helped out and ensured I had it working before I left. On my last day there, I was taken out on a waterfall tour and was very happy to spend time and space with Michael and Narissa. Overall I had a very good experience and I loved being at the Blue Orchid Resort and I would recommend anyone going to Moalboal to consider staying here. Until next time!…
Amazingly beautiful place with exceptional service. The honeymoon suite is awesome - comfortable and tons of space. The staff were wonderful and provided great customer service - really over the top! I enjoyed interesting chats with the owner Michael, who really made me feel at home. The diving was well-organized and attentive (thanks, Norman!), and so nice to jump in the pool after. Such a great place to land, especially during the time of covid. I felt so happy at Blue Orchid and hope to come back soon!
We had a lovely & very relaxing stay at blue orchid resort. The bumpy road leads you to a calm and beautiful place. The staff was very helpful with planing our trip to kawasan falls or scuba diving with the sardines and they have a house reef which is still beautiful after the typhoon Odette. We also loved the food :)
We had an okay stay here at the Blue Orchid. We arrived late after a long ride from Cebu and everyone seemed a bit confused. We got settled in and had many issues with Wifi and AC. The next day the AC was mostly resolved and the owner was able to offer some new rooms. The kitchen was open for breakfast on the first day but then not consistently available. It is quite far away down form the main area in Moalboal, especially considering you can only take a tricycle so it takes 20-30 minutes to get there on a very bumpy dirt road. The accommodations are fine but did not meet the expectations based on other reviews and the photos we saw. We were able to get a good deal on some discover Scuba diving and they helped arrange transport. The hotel is on a beach. The owner Michael was friendly. Jeff the scuba instructor was also nice and helped arrange us to rent a go pro for our dive.…
Beautiful well maintained hotel. Pleasant stay. Staffs are excellent. Food and all other amenities are exceptional. Room service is good. Rooms are neat and tidy. Hotel is equipped with all five star facilities. Mr Ravi was very helpful and considerate despite an honest mistake from our end, he managed the situation and furious me excellently. Must recommend a visit and stay at the hotel. And don’t miss the restaurant.
