This place is amazing for us. We wanted peace and quiet and we got it. Our bungalow is No. 11, facing the beach. If you want to stay connected to the internet all the time, be close to restaurants, nightlife and massage parlors, then this accommodation is not for you. The place has a restaurant with amazing view of the beach. Water pressure is very good. Owner manages the place so you can tell her your requests if you have any. They arranged our canyoneering and we had a fantastic time. I will still book this Homestay and will definitely stay longer.

Me and my boyfriend booked to stay here after seeing a blog post on places to stay near Cebu. I must say I’m very thankful to the blog because this place is absolutely beautiful. We checked in quite late and they made sure that they stayed awake to show us the room. When waking up in the morning and looking at the view it was breathtaking. The ocean staircase down is so practical as I hate taking boats to snorkel anywhere because of my sea sickness. From just a few steps into the ocean you are able to swim with turtles and the most beautiful fish. One night we were invited to celebrate with the family for a birthday and had such fun, we couldn’t have appreciated the experience more. They sorted all the trips out for us including kawasan falls which was amazing!!! we were also able to rent a scooter at a very good price.
Teobas thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Definitely worth the money and more!

If you do not visit Teobas Homestay you will be making a big mistake. I have traveled a lot in Asia and UK and Teobas Homestay is the best place I have ever stayed. Our room overlooked an amazing reef/wall (the diving kind) so the scenery was stunning in itself. The resort is lovingly laid out each building only has two rooms and is built in traditional fashion and well spaced to the next building. The main restaurant area is staged so giving a great view too. Teobas is a family run affair, they are all so lovely, you only need to ask to get new towels/sheets etc. The reef in front of the resort has marvellous fish life (plenty of diversity), I regularly snorkelled (equipment is hired from Teobas) with turtles. It's best to hire a bike I hired one from George (0920) 494 4657 he was very professional (contracts and everything) good communication skills and spoke very good English. I took a tricycle a couple of times from Ronnie (0932) 221 3526. There is a lovely restaurant 7 minutes walk from Teobas called JG's the food is well cooked and very reasonably priced compared to Panagsama Beach.

Really comfortable place to stay. Very nice central area to the sea with soft seats and couches with great views and cool seabreeze. Very nice place to hang out. Rooms were very good with good bed, fan, a/c and a fridge. I definately can recommend this place.

Spent 4 days here enjoying the relaxed feel of the home stay gardens. The family who own the property are extremely helpful when should you require any information. They have motorbikes for hire and can arrange any tour. The villas are well appointed but being a home stay, the restaurant menu is basic. Being out of the main centre you need either a scooter or trishaw, (150P one way) to get in & out of the main town. The snorkelling is excellent from the jetty and there is no beach.

Room Tip:Getting a room that over looks the water is an advantage as you will get the sea breeze.

One of the great things I liked about this resort is the location and the ambiance. The location is a bit secluded compared to the other resorts in Panagsama and it's the perfect place to unwind. The views in front of the resort and our room was great. It was raining when we stayed there but still a good stay. Our room is clean as well as the rest of the resort. The beach was nice too, we got to saw a lot of marine life. Their food was limited but delicious! Staff was warm and accommodating to our needs.
One thing for improvement is their breakfast menu, would be nice to have more options. But overall, stay was great and already booked our second stay in Teobas in the next coming weeks. :)

Booked a bungalow for 3 days. This homestay is not a hotel; no free wifi and you have to pay separately for AC (500 peso per day). The road to this homestay is rough with potholes and it takes 10-15 minutes by bike or tricycle to get to the Moalboal beach or the center of the town. Amazing views are available at few bungalows. There is an access to beach and the coral reef is quite nice but not much fish (however, I saw two turtles). There is a restaurant with basic dishes so it is better to go to Moalboal beach where numerous restaurants and bars are located. The homestay can rent you a bike for 500 peso per day. I suggest to go to various waterfalls in Southern Cebu (I especially liked Imanbakan falls) and swim in White Beach (about 25 mins motorbike drive from the homestay).
Overall, I definitely recommend this reasonably priced homestay but remember that this is not a hotel.

We visited Teobas Homestay and stayed for 4 days and absolutely loved it. The price was on a par with all the other hotels we stayed at during our time in the Philippines but it far exceeded our expectations. We paid an extra 500PHP a night for aircon but it was super powerful and we had the best nights’ sleep while there! The rooms are fairly basic but spotless and the beds were comfy. My friends and I stayed in a two storey traditional Filipino home with a fridge and decent shower. The water was at high tide relatively early but would recede pretty far by about 5pm, if you swim out there are plenty of fish (you can hire snorkels for 150PHP) and even turtles!! The grounds were really well looked after and the restaurant is basic and offers simple Filipino food but we used it to get delicious ripe mangoes as snacks and ate in town at Venz Kitchen or Cockonuts instead in the evening. Unlike Pagansama beach there are only three places to stay in this part of Moalboal (Teobas being one of the three) so it’s really chilled out but close enough to where all the bars are to get the best of both worlds. A short tricycle journey for about 150PHP was all we needed to get into town, the road was a bit dodgy but otherwise easy. Would highly recommend

Teobas homestay is a nice place situated right in front of the ocean. Unlike the hotels in Panagsama beach or White beach area, Teobas only have Turtle Bay Dive Resort and Magic Island Dive Resort beside it, so it has a bit of snobbish, exclusive feel to it. I booked by phone call, asked for a room right in front of the ocean and that's what I got. Each morning I wake up to a nice view of the sea, tide always low until it rises during midday. It is the dry season in the Philippines or "summer" as people like to call it, but I was able to survive without using the ac, only the powerful ceiling fan with windows open. rooms could use some renovations, like a window in my room can't be properly closed, and door feels really light. But it's never a problem since I didn't lose anything during my 5 night stay there. Breakfast could be improved, I had salty and oily omelettes and sunny side ups but it's really cheap so I couldn't complain. They have scooters/motorcycles for rent, 300 PHP for 5hrs, speedometer and foot brakes not working on the ones I used but it was reliable enough. I figured in a small accident right before I check out, and the staff (or family) took care of cleaning my wounds. Very nice people.
Overall, I'd like to come back again.
