We booked this hotel thinking that it's next to the beach but we were disappointed! In actual fact, Panagsama don't really have a beach, it's just next to the waterfront. Each waterfront hotel has a pathway or platform for you to walk down straight to the water for swimming or snorkelling. There is no beach for you to take a stroll. The only resort with a little beach front is Pacita's Beach Resort, and I find the location there is better, a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby. The hotel offers set breakfast, you can choose from 2 or 3 options, quality is so-so. They also offer a free 10 or 20 min glass boat canoeing. The room is really basic, no fridge or kettle. At first, we don't even have a curtain that block the view from outside in the bathroom.

Thank you for your feedback. Moalboal is known for snorkeling and scuba diving having the terrain of a cliff type and not of a Boracay type of white sandy beach. So it would depend which activities you are of interest to. Many who are in to diving and snorkeling hunger for this terrain because it is really near the shore and the marine life is so rich. In terms of location, if you want peace and quiet, then you got the right place. For the young guns who would want to party, Pacita area is more lively but has its cons too. Cons is that being a lively area it will also be prone to noise at night which would be a problem for light sleepers. Especially on the weekends where the disco music would reach 10 houses away as it is an open area disco bar. Breakfast is the standard choices. Other hotels in Moalboal dont offer any breakfast. :) Please advise which room you have booked so that we can double check the curtain for the bathroom as we do put the curtains. So that we can do a follow up wiht our housekeeping how this problem came to be. We do have hot and cold drinking water for free you can get in the front desk. Each room is equipped with a thermos. Kettle can be requested at the front desk. Villa rooms have kitchen and fridge. If you really were specific on these appliances for the room we would assist you on the needed concerns as the front desk is open 24 hours

I travelled with my boyfriend on June 2018 to celebrate our 1st anniversary and we got the garden villa upon check in. The front desk receptionist(especially two young girls always work noon shift from 19-21june) are really helpful! They make our stay memorable. Besides, i have already seek for their help to help giving my boyfriend suprise on 21june by decorating our room and they did a really great job. I can see they put much offort on the deco and we both love it so much and are really grateful. The water pressure is really low but i think their services make us forgot about this. Thanks all the staffs that help me on the suprise and i greatly recommend this resort to everyone coming to Moalboal. It is a good place! You can rent for free the gopro too.

Moalboal is a strategic place to stay as we visited places of interest along the line to reduce transport time. Staff in this hotel is exceptional and has good command of English. They are very attentive and tried their best to assist in whichever way possible. Rooms are also comfortable and clean. Air conditioned and hot shower available. Infinity pool just near the beach front. WiFi is fast and works within the vicinity of the premise. Just perfect Just perfect.

I had very high hopes as wherever I was staying in Philippines I thought I had book the best hotel in Moalboal via Agoda where I can get all comforts of my entire trip. But it turned to be a nightmare. I went with all the reviews of Tripadvisor but it turned out to be against all what people has posted. Let me list out: 1. 1,000 peso hidden deposit collected: I was on the reception to check in instead of Philippines style welcome where from almost all hotels the offer welcome drinks etc. I was bombarded with Rules. And before check-in PHP 1,000 was collected. 2. Collection of PHP 1,000 was done immediate upon check-in and a receipt was given to me which I had to show at the time of check out to receive my money back. 3. If I stain my sheets, towels etc. money will be

Hi Pratush, I believe all hotels do the standard process of monetary deposit however if you really didnt want to put the money we are not forcing you but for convenience like getting drinks and ordering food charged to the room, the deposit would help to lessen the hassle of getting money every time you wanted to purchase something. We do have a 360 photo tour of all our rooms at our website for your reference prior to booking your desired room and upon arrival if you wished to upgrade your room we would be glad to have assisted you in this regard. We do have pool rules as these are for the safety of the guest. If alcoholic drinks beside the pool we would want to avoid that since there were some instances that our neighboring hotels had an accident with their guest. Yet again, your safety is our priority. For breakfast, we have a revised menu that will coming out soon. Please bear with us on the temporary menu list. For welcome drink we really offer it to our check in guests. As we have 2 new front desk trainees during that time we apologize if we have fell short in your expectation on not be able to serve the welcome drink.

Nice budget hotel. We were 7 of us, stayed 4 nights. The snorkeling in the house reef about 20m away was very good. The hotel recommended Nelson's Dive shop for our Diving which a great experience as well. The location is good, small walking lane (behind the hotel) leads to small stores and restaurants. 10 mins by scooter, you have the big supermarket. Great experience for the price paid.

Stayed here for a night with my colleagues. We were 9 in the room. There were 4 bunk beds and a folding bed. Each bed is big enough for 1 person. They have a swimming pool and an area for recreation. Game boards can be borrowed from the concierge free of charge. It was a comfortable stay. We set off for island hopping at 6:30 in the morning. Everything was already arranged by the concierge. I appreciated that they worked with the community by collaborating with local boatmen who took us around the different islands. I would not advise cooking food here. Though they have a common area where you may eat but I did not find a kitchen. They have a restaurant and there are a few others in the neighborhood.

I only stayed here for 1 night (only on a 6 day holiday in Philippines). This was the nicest staff we encountered at any hotel we stayed at in the Philippines. They were very helpful to arrange airport pickup, give advice on diving/snorkel sardines, and setup a driver for us the following day to take us to Osmena, Kawasan, and drop us off in Tanawan. The hotel also upgrade our room for the 1 night stay. This hotel sits right on the ocean, and Moalboal is a quiet little town, and you can walk down the little 'walking street' with some restaurants, dive shops, and a bar or two. Wish we could have stayed longer here.

Lovely staff, great location and super clean rooms. I loved to float in that beautiful swimming pool while watching the sunset at the sea. I mean, what a view! It's totally close to the sea and It even features Its own private entrance on it. I expected there was nothing to do in the evening but I found the pubs area Just 10 m walk away. Cool!! Highly recommended.

The place deserves the good reviews. I booked for two nights and asked them if they had any availability for the night before as it was fully booked online. They offered the so called reserve room, at the back, next to the laundry room, which was ok. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was outside and kind of small. But it was perfectly fine for one night, also with a nice veranda and somehow offering more privacy. The sea view room was great too, bigger, even had a safety box. Well, you don’t really see the sea, unless you get room 101. Free water refill, free snorkelling equipment, including life jacket and shoes. Some of the snorkels are not in good shape, you need to try and change them until you find a good one. The place is perfect for snorkelling offshore.
