We really enjoyed our stay here in this hotel. It has a lot of charm and the staff is very helpful and sweet. The amenities in the room are decent. The only issue is the water pressure not being all there but we understand these things. There is a lovely common area with a pool table and new lounge type seating which has a comfy back packed feel. There is also a nice pool you can swim in while watching the sunset. It is about a 10 minute walk to town. The hotel will Gladly book excursions for you and has a lot of tourist Info. There is a surcharge when booking through the hotel but that’s to be expected. Overall we had a lovely time here!
We accessed the hotel by renting a tricycle from the bus terminal. It is near a sari-sari store. We got a room with a garden view and shared washroom. The hotel staff was very accommodating - they offer kayak activities, snorkeling, and other transportation service such as motorcycle and bike. The lobby has also their own snack store and they can lend you board games. The area was very quiet (or because there were very few travelers when we went there which is first week of November). The internet connection was fast also.
This was a pleasant and nice facility, we stayed in the Garden Villa, which as spacious rooms and a nice garden setting with a kids playground (something one see seldom in the Philippines!) The Pool is just across in the other Room Area which feature two story rooms for regular guest (Regular i mean couples without kids) Pool is not too suitable for younger kids (4 ft deep) but there is a beach access with very shallow water. (As everywhere in Moalboal use swim shoes!)
Very cost efficient and has a friendly staff. The ambience of the place was great that made our vacation relaxing and fun. The beach was great, it's good for snorkeling or free diving or even scuba diving. I will book them again.
We only stayed one night, unfortunately, but greatly enjoyed our stay. A 1000PHP security deposit is required at check in, and we received the full amount back when we checked out. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The WiFi was good. The showers were warm (using the wall unit). We stayed in Room 201 on the second floor of the main unit and greatly enjoyed the covered “balcony” outside our door. From it, you could see the ocean and sunrise. The (almost) infinity pool was pretty and overlooked the sea. At high tide, steps went straight into the water. At low tide, the steps led to a rocky beach. We didn’t get a chance to use them, but snorkels are available to guests for free, and you can snorkel right outside the hotel! Cristina (desk night shift) was amazing! We went…
Our two night stay couldn’t have begun any better at Pescador. The enthusiastic welcome from Cristina on reception gave us all the low down that we needed and it was great to be greeted by such a positive energy. Our suite was perfect with everything laid out perfectly down to all the little ammenities. The facilities were endless with massages available, an ocean front pool, pool table/chill out area and plenty of water activities as expected! Just a stones throw from the ocean if you’re looking for a base in Moalboal this will not disappoint.
This hotel is very good right on the sea great snorkelling around these reefs rooms good only thing missing is a fridge in the room location great everything is a fifteen minute walk away enjoyed breakfast is good but need to sort out voucher system they change it daily.
Quiet place with a beautiful beach. The staff was very friendly and useful with tips around the area. They serve breakfast with local and Western choices. You can find local orders for lunch for an affordable price. They have games for childrem in the reception, snorkeling gear and even kayak, you can rent for free. The best from the hotel apart of these things? The sunset was really beautiful and epic! Best place to stay in Moalboal if you plan to do tours we can recommend the tour from the hotel where you can do snorkeling with the tourtles and sardines. If you arel ucky you will see the dolphins first thing in the morning.
Travel as a couple - spent 5 days at this property. Hands down one of the top hotels in Cebu and the best in Moalboal. Their prices are amazing, they have a really nice breakfast and their attention to detail is perfect. All of the staff are very professional - from the receptionist, to managers to cleaning crews to security, you will always be taken care of and be treated very well at all time. The pool is actually very nice, as its situated as to make it align with the ocean (about 40 meters max distance away), giving it an infinity effect. Every morning they clean the pool, and sometimes throughout the day or evening if it is windy or a storm passes through (I witnessed them cleaning at least once a day). the rooms are SUPER CLEAN, very spacious, beds and pillows are…
This is a small resort with an amazing beachfront rich in marine life and is perfect for snorkeling activities. It is a less than a year old resort facing Pescador Island with a garden and a small pool that is 4-6 ft deep. The room is clean and has all the basic amenities, safety deposit box, hot and cold shower, flat screen TV and an AC that is working well. They have an excellent staff that are very helpful and hospitable. The Room rates are very affordable and the accommodation comes with complimentary breakfast for 2, Free WiFi access, Free use of life vest and snorkeling gear, Free kayak for 15 mins, unlimited supply of hot and cold drinking water and no charge for early check in and extra pillows. If only they have a restaurant that opens until midnight, the place is…
