Arrived at the resort as only guests, a good # of employees are available to assist with needs. Beach is beautiful with its finer, gold sand & wide shoreline ~ we enjoyed our early morning walks. Food is average & requesting any extra serving will be billed extra. Only 2 items were available for purchase at the souvenir stall/ office and staff were not that accommodating or maybe unsure how to handle requests~ ex. we asked one night to serve/ pack our dinner before they close their kitchen at 10pm & request was fulfilled with hesitation, they charged me for paper containers & food bag. We begged to buy one beach towel as a souvenir & we were bluntly denied. Stay would have been more positive if they were more accommodating, considering we were their only guests..

Thank you for staying at Virgin Beach Resort and taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. It is through feedback such as yours that we are able to improve the quality of our products and services. We apologize if we fell short of your expectations. We have noted your observation regarding the souvenir items and are working on adding other items in the near future. Please allow us to look into the matter of the beach towels. Though they are not for sale, we have accommodated guests' requests to purchase them in the past. We would also like to clarify that guests may avail of second servings for our plated meals without any additional charge. It is possible that you were misinformed, however, upon checking, our records show that your party was served seconds during your breakfast on January 21, 2020. Please rest assured that we are continuously improving service standards and facilities.  We hope this experience will not deter you from visiting us again and that you will give us the opportunity of welcoming you back at Virgin Beach Resort.

I stayed here with my mom and it was a very ni e experience. It was not raining at all since we got there and left, thank God because it has been raining from we’re we came from and some other places because of the monsoon brought about by the typhoon Falcon. It was sunny when we got to Laiya. The resort was well maintained and all the staff were courteous. The board meals were the best. I also loved how organized they were in putting names of the lead guest in every table at the restaurant so that every meal you’ll be staying on the same table every time. Also with the parking area, there’s a slot for every accommodation. It makes me feel VIP .Well, I think every guest deserves it considering the rates of the room and the complete board meals (lunch dinner breakfast) per guest that costs 2,100. What was kinda disappointing is the extra bed that comes with the extra person rate for the room that we accommodated. It was only good for 4 pax so we had to pay 1,500 for the additional person and still had to pay 2,100 for the meals which was acceptable. The only thing that was not is the extra bed which actually is just an extra mattress. For me 1,500 was too much, considering that the extra person would be lying on the floor on a mattress. Anyway, everything else was good. Shoreline was clean, not white sand but that’s ok. There was a mini pool without water and it could only accommodate like 4 adults but won’t really be able to swim in it. Overall experience was good

We had a pleasant stay at this resort as we had the beach to ourselves when we went. Even if most rooms were booked, the place was never crowded. This is one place that still looks like a real beach resort, versus others in the area which have more buildings than beach. We liked that the day trippers are confined to a separate area from overnight guests so the place remained quiet and relaxing. We also liked the feeling of exclusivity, with all rooms facing the beach and you can use the cabanas near the rooms as well. Facilities and rooms including bathrooms are clean. The beach has fine, clean sand and the water is clean. The only things to improve are the weak water pressure in the shower, and the quality of the food which was mediocre. Since in-house meals are mandatory, they should make an effort to provide fantastic food at least. The portable swimming pool is allocated for day trippers and is hard to access for overnight guests. With the resort's premium rates, they should add a swimming pool (a real one) for overnight guests. Also, the front desk folks should be trained better to issue an official receipt without being asked. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing stay.

What I really love about this place is the location because it's just a few hours away from Manila. So if you want a quick escape from the noise of the city, this is the place to be. The staff were all very accommodating and polite. The beach is probably one of the best in the area. There is no sign of garbage because the staff cleans it all the time and there are bamboo trash cans everywhere. The beach isn't too crowded and it's very peaceful in the evening. They also have a wide selection of activities to choose from. The breakfast was great since there were a lot to choose from. However, for the lunch and dinner I'd give it a 3/5 but it's okay for what we paid for. Overall, i had a great stay! They did an awesome job

It was my first time to stay at Virgin Beach Resort for a Day trip with my family and two dogs last May 29, 2022. The booking and confirmation were easy to understand, we were given ample time to inquire, decide and pay, the reservation team were professional. When we arrived at the resort, we were assisted right away and the staff were very welcoming. The resort was easy to find, close to Metro Manila, very clean, complete with amenities and the cabanas were situated right in front of the beach and not too close to each other. The Day Trip includes a buffet lunch and an afternoon snack. The lunch buffet was set in the middle of the day trip area where guests can help themselves and dine at their respective cabanas. The service crew were respectful and presentable at all times, they were wearing face masks and gloves. .
The resort also offers water activities at a reasonable price, you can also book a massage, and if you get hungry or thirsty during the day they have a good selection on the menu.
Overall, the beach, view, the price, hotel location, interior and exterior. service, food, staff and crew were impeccable.
I highly recommend booking your next trip at Virgin Beach Resort Laiya.
A quick getaway from the city and a great way to reset from a long work week.
Thank you Virgin Beach Resort.

I came with my family, and so far This is the best holiday that we had,in terms of the staffs all the staffs are so friendly whenever they see you anywhere they don’t hesitate to greet you with a smile, they are all approachable

room was nice and comfy except that there is a bit bad smell with the toilet water.

the food was so so so nice,we had food which is inclusive,so they are serving breakfast, lunch and dinner thru buffet and the selection of food was soo nice and the taste also is perfect, how they cook it is the same with the expensive restaurants they are using not cheap ingredients just to get profit.

one suggestion is i hope 1 day they will have pool because you can only swim in the sea and it’s not advisable especially if the sun is really hot,you will get burned.if they had pool this hotel will be perfect.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort. The staff is very friendly and Everyone is willing to help you, especially the Resort Operations Manager, Peter T. Lumba who is very friendly to guests. The food is delicious and impressive, and the location is so tranquil that you can probably unwind and disconnect from social media 😂. There is also a play area for kids to enjoy, and this resort is pet-friendly, so you can bring your pets as well. The room is spotless and very pleasant to the environment. My family and I had a wonderful time at this resort, and I will probably recommend it to everyone. likely will return to this resort again ❤️

Simple beach resort, 3 hour drive from Makati.

Resto had basic filipino meals but were open to make dishes I requested (pasta, sandwiches) and good fresh juices available.

Clean beach but limited activities. Would bring your own gear/kids stuff to play with/water shoes if you come.

Small bonfire after sunset was a highlight.

Casitas are clean and as you expect of small beach resort, nothing too fancy.

Staff could be more organized but overall pleasant.

This has been one of the best pocket vacations weve had. Peaceful. Wifi is limited so youll be forced to be screen free and disconnect. Resort and beach is well maintained, and beautiful. Even more charming at night. All villas are fronting beach.Perfect for frazzled city dwellers who want a short break. Was delighted that they even had anticipated Mass on Saturday night.

I was there with my friend last May 2021 and we had a lot of fun. The foods in the resto were delicious, the rooms were affordable yet so nice. . It is also a peaceful place where everyone could certainly relax and unwind. The resort also provides live band every weekend. The staffs are also very attentive to our needs. Great hospitality that one should experience.
Definitely would really love to go back soon...
