We stayed here for 2 days and 1 night in a poolside family room. Room was an average and a little small for 10 persons. Beds are comfy but the window type aircon was super noisy. The resort offered buffet dinner, breakfast and lunch. Food was 3/5, they should improve the quality and taste of their food. Resort location was good. Staffs were very accommodating, they were all nice. Pool was also nice and big, and they also had a poolside bar. Overall we enjoyed our quick family vacation.

This is the lowest priced "okay" resort in Laiya. I have heard about this place, and due to its proximity to Metro Manila, my family decided to go there. The beach isn't that great compared to Puerto Galera, Boracay or Pagudpud. It didn't feel like sand to me--- it felt more like small, tiny stones. It actually hurt to swim so the kids and I went to the pool instead. The poolside villa was okay, good for 4-8 people. It has 2 double beds and 2 extra mattresses which we laid on the floor. It has a spacious bathroom with bathtub. There was cable TV, mini-ref and wi-fi! Meal packages are mandatory though - 1,100PHP for the overnight package. For this amount, you would expect decent meals. But they weren't. We were so hungry, that on our way home, we pigged out at Gerry's Grill in SM Lipa.

Stayed here for a night. Rooms were clean, facilities were good, but their food sucks. This resort has a 'no bringing in of food' policy, so guests are forced to eat their meals (which was served buffet style). The dishes were unimaginative, taste was terrible, choices very limited, and ingredients used were not fresh, specially their fish. I hope they do something about this.

This place was Fantastic!! We had planned to take a trip to Palawan while in the Philippines but because of time, cost and Coronavirus we were not able to go. We were looking for a nice beach and Blue Coral Resort was recommended to us. We rented a van and driver and it was a 3 hour drive from Calamba City (it would be 4 hours from Manila). Lots of traffic but very scenic. Lunch Buffet and afternoon snack included in day trip price. Food was really good. There were 3 swimming pools-in-one to choose from and a kiddies pool. Coarse sand beach with warm sea water. With goggles on I was able to see fish swimming around us. It was not busy but maybe busy in peak season. Staff were really friendly and check in was quick and easy. There is Hotel accommodation available on the resort which we may take advantage of during our next trip to Philippines. I would say this was my best day of the trip.

Just spent 5 wonderful days in the blue crystal resort. Good accommodation, great location next to sea, most of all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely visit Puerto Galera again and stay at the blue crystal.
10 out of 10.

We stayed here during our yearly team building and almost half of us suffered from vomiting and stomach aches after we ate lunch before checking out. Some were even confined in the hospital for two days. Never going back again

since food is included in this resort you don't have a choice but to pay (php 1450) for three meals and eat terrible food. Also, running water in the shower is not consistent. never going back to this place.

Don’t be deceived that BLUE CORAL RESORT, Batangas is one of those well known awesome beaches along the Laiya shorelines — sharing the limelight of the famous ones like Aquatico and Acuaverde.
We stayed in this resort for 3D/2N last 27May2018-29May2018 and all I got are mere disappointment, frustration and regret. To begin with their Deluxe Rooms are outdated, stinky and dirty. Their window-type aircon is broken, the blades part is completely gone. You would need to call housekeeping so that they can give you your daily supplies of bottled water and toiletries. If they ran out of supplies of anything, they would make it seem that they would attend to it but will never really follow-through or get it done. At their mandatory all-meal package, make sure you’re prepared to have breakfast by 7am because even if their meal stubs (yes, they still issue the old stubs system) depicts 7am to 9am, they would not replenish the food even if it’s just 8am. And I think I have an idea why because I saw that the resort’s staff are too eager to get their meals from the served buffet food for the guests. Even still within the eating time of the guests, the staff are already packing their own share of the served food and putting those in their brown paper bag. They say they have wifi but the connectivity range is just within the receptionist area up to some of the 1st floor rooms — and we’re staying at the 3rd floor! And the most disappointing experience is when you’re unlucky to book at the same time of a company reservation. During eating time, the company outing guests have a better menu and refreshing dining area. We ended-up eating less palatable food in a very secluded (hot) area because the staff wouldn’t let us eat at the cooler dining area. The way these staff drove us away from the reserved area is another reflection of their terrible customer service. We should have not booked in this resort! They are indeed cheaper compared to Acuaverde or Aquatico with just a couple of hundreds but the experience is nothing close to the 2 resorts mentioned. Don’t waste your money here because you’ll end-up ripped-off and not enjoying your vacation!

My family went for an overnight stay to have a dip in the sea. We got a room near the poolside and a walk away from the beach. The service was good but the food was not because some menu are missing. The pool water is clean as well as the beach. The sea bottom is sandy unlike other stony beaches. The banana boat ride was good. From Antipolo, it took us 3-4 hrs to get there.

So part of our 2 days and 1 day package is a breakfast and dinner buffet. If you breakdown the cost, Buffet fee will be down to 500+ peso each person. I didn't expect that 500+mealfee will be the cheapest crappy buffet we will ever experienced. Foods look like canned-goods that were just reheated in a hugepan, Only 2 viands served per meal (So much for a buffet huh!). and what's worse is some choices were like left-overs. The desserts were disgusting too. Even my siblings have the same rants and complaints. And there are too many flies everywhere. Then this server openly sprayed baygon in the dining area WHILE we were eating. Bad service.
Not to mention, our beachside villas are full of mosquitoes upon arrival. :<
So many loud activities as well from big groups from various companies.
Our stay there just pissed me off.
If you feel like going here, refuse to pay for the meal and just bring your own food.
but overall, WE do NOT recommend this for a vacation.
