The cottages were beautifully designed; the fixtures in each room or cottage, including the bed sheets, blankets, lamps, cabinets, kitchen utensils and appliances were all of very good quality. We travelled as a big group (20 persons) and we booked two different types of cottages, one was a 2 bedroom bungalow and the other was a loft type cottage. We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The kitchen was big for both cottages and every appliance available was working well. The AC worked fine as well, we had no complaints. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. We had a problem though with the satellite TV, there was no signal coming in, the morning after, we guessed that it could have been because of a pre-paid card used for the satellite service but we didn't bother to ask…
Sabangan is a small place with a very small white pebble beach and crystal clear water. We loved the traditional loungers and umbrellas (although they are rather far up the beach) but best of all are the two units facing the beach. As a non-Filipino and picky eater it was great to be able to cook and eat what we wanted on our private deck with nothing but an umbrella between us and the water. The sand is very coarse in this area of the beach (Sabangan is between the high end Aquatico and the college student filled Blue Coral) but the water is very clear with a gradual slope with plenty of fish at knees depth (mosty the same variety) . i wouldn't really stay here for multiple days since the beach is so small but it is good for one night or a daytrip. It is quaint, well priced…
I've visited some resorts in the country and even enjoyed the night life at boracay but if you are stressed and would like to find a more accessible location and have some tranquility, if you want to breath a refreshing air to relax your mind, if you want to have an harmonious soul once again then stay for a while at Sabangan Resort. My childhood bestfriend and I decided to take a trip to batangas for our second meeting after ten long years. Though I have browse some resorts at san juan Batangas, I wasn't able to make any reservation and we end up staying at Sabangan. We never regret the experience and for me it was really a relief just by sitting on their parasols. The cottages are beautiful and comfortable. The sorroundings are very cozy, you will feel like you're just at…
This resort is pretty basic, but clean enough with only a small beach front. Design or ambience wise, it is just regular, in fact it feels sort of like a DIY project, but dont get me wrong, its not so bad. I wouldn't mind going here for a day trip or company outing. The good thing about this place, is that it is a short distance from Manila, and the prices are quite reasonable. You are not obliged to avail of resort prepared food. Depending on what type of (beach) traveller you are, this could be either good or bad. Well its good in the sense that you get to save a lot, and eat what you want, but if you are too lazy, this is not the place for you, although maybe you can talk to the staff to cook for you. About the beach, its whitish but really pebbly, and there arent…
