Staff are so friendly and service is awesome. Really enjoyed the food as they showcased local Batangas dishes like lomi, bulalo and tilapia! Rooms as well as the beach are clean and cozy so we had a good weekend stay.
Service was good, friendly and helpful staff. The resort itself needs improvement though, toilet needs the shampoo, soap, toothpaste, normal necessity of guests. Slippers are also needed. Water heater is a bit weird coz we need to open the faucet water before we could get a hot water in the shower. The bed was so "springy" that I felt it in my back. Food was okay. Dessert needs a little improvement also. Room is a little small for 4 people. We enjoyed our stay but hopefully they will improve the things mentioned.
A cheap but expensive place. 30k for 3d2n for 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 3) - so I expected a good place. I couldn't be more wrong. A room with no ref, flat sheets as blankets, no hot/cold water, no WiFi, not even the basic toiletries. The restaurant didn't serve ala cart because they ran out of supplies so I had to go out to feed my family. The playground was about to fall apart. 2 stars is for the staff who were good and always smiling.
the place is quiet, clean and has big potentials but requires something that is missing such as cable connection is poor and food is very basic that is not given much attention if clients will be satisfied. the sliding doors are not so secured because of misalignment, key lock difficult to close etc.
Me and my family had a great time in Sabangan. The resort is clean and well maintained. They also do have a play area for the kids. We also didn't encounter any difficulty/challenge during our stay because their resort is already complete with amenities and their packages includes full board meals(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). We also have a guaranteed free parking slot upon arrival. The room was comfortable to stay in and lastly, their staff is very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely go back to this place for my family's future beach trips.
This place offered quite the provincial vibe which I enjoyed a lot. Considering that it wasn't that far from the metro as compared to your typical beach destination, it provided the same effect of escaping the pollution of Manila. The beach, though only a small area, was clean and the water was clear. We had kids with us and they enjoyed the beach very much. The pool was also okay though it may have a tendency to get a bit crowded (especially if there are many guests checked in). It was an overall good experience and I would recommend this resort for short family vacations that do not require extra long trips.
Aircon was not working properly. Called the attention of the staff regarding the issue. Nobody could decide because apparently there is nobody in charge of the place. They even had to call their Manila office (which responded after more than an hour of trying to cantact them) just to tell them to replace the aircon with the same kind of unit. An hour after the replacement, the room is still hot inside because the replacement A/C is still not working. The bathroom stinks. Imagine pooping on the floor and peering everywhere then leaving it for three days straight. That's the smell. We tried to contact the owner thru the staff. The staff mentioned that there is a guest room for the owner's guests that we can transfer to, they just have to inform the owner of Sabangan Beach Resort…
We stayed for 3 days & 2 nights, here's my take on the good & the bad. Pros: 1) Clean Beach & Clear water 2) Kid Friendly (Environment & Pool) 3) Strong mobile 4G signal - SMART 4) Clean area, surrounded by trees, close to nature Cons: 1) Small Room (may vary, we availed Narra room due to availability) 2) Narra Room: Defective doors / screen, Defective cable box, Defective toilet flush, Cramped 3) "WiFi is down" during our stay 4) Fluctuating electricity 5) Average food / taste & variety, nothing special 6) Front Desk not accommodating enough I felt like it's not worth my spending overall. You'll feel the difference especially at the beach front, it's a little boring compared to other resorts beside it. No plans of coming back :(
We had our holy week vacation recently in Laiya. Amongst handful of resorts in laiya we ended up staying in Sabangan due to non-availability and peak season. Good thing we started our trip on wednesday traffic is still manageable but when we came home we passed by pile of vehicles standstill along san juan road enduring the holy week traffic jam. Back to sabangan, during my reservation inquiries everything was fine until we saw how outdated is the remaining bamboo cottage in the resort. Checkin is fast though but very hot in the reception area as there aint a single fan visible and alas wind is no-show. Ample parking and shaded by trees. The bamboo cottage in my opinion is an eyesore in the resort as its in the middle of loft style villas. Its not getting any maintenance, the…
