Set amidst Sigayan Bay and the Verde Island Passage, Sabangan runs along the renowned white sand beach of Laiya, San Juan Batangas with views of Mt. Daguldol and landscape filled with lush foliage. The 6,000 square meter resort offers guests a sanctuary enveloped in nature and rich in the comforts of home. Fully air conditioned units with spacious patios. Each unit is fully equipped with a private toilet and bath, hot and cold shower, coffee and tea making facilities, cable TV, Wi-Fi access, and a personal refrigerator. Each accommodation includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are provided with complimentary bottled water and coffee. Check-in time is at 2:00 pm, check-out time is at 12:00 noon.
Sabangan is a beachfront resort. Our villa, Narra B, is situated near the pool and restaurant and about 50 meter walk to the beach. There are 2 queen size beds with 4 pillows per bed but only one blanket plus 4 towels.
They have parking space but not quite enough during weekend.
The resort is generally quiet and peaceful. No karaoke, no loud music.
A number of trees are lined up along the patios and walkways that provide shade and fresh air.
Food is generally okay, We had buffet breakfast and dinner. I would suggest though to have a different set of menu the next day. They may also opt to offer popular dishes in Batangas like Bulalo, Lomi, tawilis or sinaing na tulingan. Adding dishes suitable for kids will also create excitement.
Beach is calm. No strong waves. Sand is beige with small stones but no big rocks.
Overall, we had an awesome stay.

We went there for a company teambuilding and we all arrived earlier than check in time. It was situated along laiya between Blue Coral and Acuatico. Once rooms were available, we were handed our room keys. The rooms were dated and the shower in the second floor rooms brely had water at all, slow to no water pressure and Im not sure it its because the shower head was old and the holes are already broken or there is very little water pressure...either way, plan to allot a least an hour to take a bath! They could have put in a pail and dipper in the bathroom cos the faucet had better pressure. The water from the bathroom where we stayed is also leaking in the balcony area. There were free water in the room fridge and aircon was working properly. The food was okay, had enough spread of filipino food and snacks. Overall vibe of the resort is good. When you go to the beach, you wIll see a lot of trash floating aroud and we had to remove some tree branches, face masks and even some food wrappings. I hope someone is cleaning them from time to time, its a real turn off. We just went to the pool area instead. Pool area is great, temp is pretty warm. During nighttime, you can utikize the small cabana at the center however you cant make a noise beyond 10pm. Its lights out by then. Havent tried buying hotel food since we had full board meals but 1 lomi costs 300 pesos. There is a lomi house just outside rhe hotel premises where its cheaper and had quite a selection. They also charge corkage fee for drinks beyond the allowed@1500 each. Check out was fast. Overall the resort can be maintained and updated, it has the beach resort charm that guests would look for. I also wish they had a hall where videoke can be done so guests who want to enjoy can still stay a little late.

Staffs are the best! They are so nice and accommodating. Everything in the room works perfectly, it's neat and clean. We appreciate the fixtures and technology used. The beach front is clean and maintained.
We only hope that there's a shower or somewhere we can wash the sands off between the resort's vicinity and beach front so we won't bring it the room.

My kids loves the sand in the beach, playground and swimming pool. Excellent food ( includes merienda, Dinner and breakfast the following morning). They have complimentary drinks upon arrival and free mineral water inside the room. The place is easy to find coming from Manila. Snacks allowed in resort
Try it with your family.

Spent a couple of days with family and we truly enjoyed every second of it, especially the (local) food! I seldom eat extra but I kept coming back for more ;)
The facilities may be a little dated but functional. The ambience is really ideal for those who are seeking peace and quiet. There are plants in every corner so expect mosquitos at night (at least, outside)
Every staff was attentive and polite— they took care of everything we needed. All 3 elders were very happy with the quality service they got from everyone.
I’m so glad I gave this place a benefit of the doubt despite its average ratings online.

we had a relaxing time with our fur baby here!! place is clean and we don’t need to think about our food since it is already covered on the rates. worth it and the food is good! kudos to alvin on assisting us serving our food in the gazebo because dogs are not allowed in the food area. however, there are areas that, we think, they need to improve on. 1. staffs are kind but please smile! or offer some greetings. 2. ready to assist and won’t need a guest to ask for help, for example when checking in and out there’s no one to help and carry or even an available cart for us to use. 3. front desk is difficult to contact. the line keeps ringing.
other than that, keep offering the pet friendly service. so that, we, fur parents can enjoy with our fur babies.
thanks!

I liked everything except that I think that the food is somewhat lacking. The food tastes good but i think it lacks variety or options to choose from. The staffs are accomodating and the requests made are instantly fulfilled.

The whole resort is nice and clean and good for family. Our room is near the ocean and the patio was very convenient for wet clothes. The room is also nice and clean and we had a good rest. The cr is also clean and very nice. The beach is clean and also good for swimming not that rocky but it is deep. The pool is nestled within the middle of resort and has lots of trees around so it is not that hot. The kids love the pool. Food is worth it for buffet inclusive in the package. Definitely it is worth to recommend to family and friends if they are looking for a ralxing and quiet beach experience
