Our family enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and well maintained. Food was good, really. Simple but yum. What made this place even more special was the river which is just beside the resort. The beach was well maintained and there were life guards.

We booked 2 nights stay here because we were going to attend a wedding nearby. We drove all the way from Pasay and upon arrival the security guard at the front gate asked for an ID (per their policy is to leave a gov't issued ID for checkins) so I handed over my Driver's License from California, i hesistantly gave it but i had no choice. In exchange they gave me a laminated card which i kept in my bag. Up at the front desk they again asked for an ID so i asked the lady, how can other people checkin if they only have 1 ID and left it at the guard? she just smiled (well.. i guess?) I handed her my passport which is made a photocopy of it. We just left our luggages in our room which we found strongly smells of medicine for insects. Leaving the compound was weird the security guard ask for the laminated number from us back and we asked to let him give back my CA license but he said theyll give it to us upon checkout. So we were already misinformed with that because the following day another guard was asking for that laminated number and we told them that we already handed it over and he stated "that's impossible" my boyfriend got upset questioning him why its impossible if that was what his colleage told us. Long story short 2 guards keep knocking on our room asking for that freakin laminated number. I then couldnt keep it to myself and told them what do they think we'll do if we keep that laminated number?? If my CA license is more important. When we were checking out the other guard i guess their manager informed that that laminated number cost P500 to make. My bf and i looked at him shocked and said we were willing to pay for it in exchange of my CA ID. But he said "we'll take care of it this time, but next time you know our policy" He then handed over my CA ID finally. Like we're gonna go back there after that terrible experience!! Dont get me wrong the staff are verry helpful. But other than done NOPE!!!

The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful, the only good thing I can say about Laiya White Cove. As for our stay, it was not enjoyable as the corridors are very noisy. Some rooms have common or outside toilet so you can hear closing of doors from people going to and fro (from their rooms to the toilet). I get awaken every now and then until 1:30am. The water pressure in our room was very low. The beach was nothing special. Since this was our second time in 3 weeks for an overnight stay in Laiya just to attend a wedding in a nearby resort, that is why we selected a budget B&B this time. Seems our decision to be thrifty was not worth the savings.

Travel time is around 4 hrs from QC to laiya. The staff were accommodating. Boats were at the beach front so you have to move whenever the boats dock to unload. Tents were not that well maintained and since the tent that we chose is a bit defective, we were given a 2nd tent for free. We ordered an Authentic kapeng barako, it was so good! Shower rooms are ok. Food a bit pricey. Beach front and beach itself is not that impressive. There were pieces of trash floating. The resort was too crowded for me, there was an ongoing team building so aside from being crowded, there was too much noise. We paid 3400 php for a whole day stay (for 7 persons) from 9am to 4pm. The resort is promising, i just hope that the management will do something about their parking and the boats that are lining up on the shore, because this gave me a very unsecure feeling, its like you can be run over by a boat while swimming.

Called this resort, and confirmed many times,if they really do not accept reservations for day tour and especially its a holiday. This girl meryl told me that they do not accept reservations for day tour guests, only to find out that they are handling 1000 guests(a company outing) for today (May 1), and they wont accomodate us because there are too many guests as they say,And we do not have a place where we can stay. We went all the way from manila, had a 3 hour ride, just for this. They are offering me to get rooms for day tour for them to accomodate us which for me is not acceptable. You dont deserve any stars for your resort, because of your poor service. No efforts made from MERYL CONJARES nor DIO MAGBUJOS to compensate the hassle and stress you've caused us. I hope this may help other people ,who wants to visit this place. For you guys its a 👎👎👎

Response from lwcipi, Public Relations Manager at Laiya White Cove Beach Resort
Responded May 2, 2019
Dear Guest, We do apologize for the trouble this caused you but to enlighten you about our resort, we really do not reserve for groups of 1-40 persons but we do reserve for corporate accounts ranging from 50 persons and above. If you have not been accommodated for day tour of May 1, 2019, that is because day tours is a walk in, first come, first serve basis for small groups. The only way to really get accommodated for the day tour is to avail of the rooms for day use so that you can be able to have a place for your things especially the resort gets crowded on Holidays. Rest assured, we will let Ms. Mayrill Conjares and Mr. Deo Magbojos know your feedback regarding this matter. Thank you and have a great day!

We booked an overnight stay for 5,000 and paid 500/head for food but here's what we got: -Room was too small -Staff were not friendly and accommodating. Very poor service! -There were plenty of choices in the menu but always not available. Very limited choices for ala carte food. -Ugly beach area! Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay.

Upon arriving there we were told we would have to pay for the tent which is mandatory upon entering the resort. This was not advised prior, they told us it is 300 pesos per head. Anyway no problem, for me it is not about the money it is just for being honest and fair. So we did pay to figure out we are the only guests that day since it is a Monday. The so called tent were a few tents gathered together with a few would benches and tables which needed to be cleaned prior . This area was also shared with their employees and security guards. I did find this a bit annoying since those guys eyed my two minor daughters in their bikinis. I even approached one of those workers why he would stare . Irritating as worse it could be. Me prompting that Manager over Messenger lead to a msg like " we do not tolerate Cyber Libel " This is kinda rude not even asking me what is my concern and offering any solution, rather that person wrote " go and find another resort " before blocking me. Upon seeing my review on Google suddenly that person offers help after technically we got kicked out. You better find yourself a new job because nowadays people will post your bad behavior towards guests! Nice place , it has so much potential with the right management but definitely you won't see us ever again.

We booked a family room for 2 nights, we stayed only 1 night. No refund. We paid 17k for 2 nights. -room is dirty, roaches in the bed. -the bed, a piece of wood with Uratex. -the food, a lot of choice in the menu, but when you order the answer most of the time is "not available". Better to told us directly what is available, 500 pesos for over salty food. -for the breakfast 400 pesos per head for what? Dry rice, scrambled egg with shell or overcooked sunny egg... and of course for a 4 stars resort, cold coffee!!! And when you complain, the staff is smiling and laughing. They don't even apologized. Management's answer when we asked for refund "you signed your reservation so you agree" for no refund!!!

Location maybe 2.5-3 hours from Manila. Room 102. TV wasn’t working (note: we have kids with us, TV is a must at some point). The staff didn’t bother to check. Beach - meh, it’s OK. It was low tide when we arrived and still low tide when we left. Rocky beach shore, semi “white sand” but very clean surrounding. Bathroom is clean. Beds are OK. Smelly pillows though. FOOD is my biggest concern with this resort. They have “restaurant” but they required guests to bring their own food. I ordered 3 cups of brewed coffe for P70.00/each and IT WAS BLOODY COLD. The guy didn’t know I was the one who ordered, the 3 staffs were mumbling like “oh just tell them, coz we only use coffee maker that’s why it isn’t hot” GOOD LORD! We ordered GARLIC RICE they served plain rice, I asked why? The guy just nod. I shouldve ordered pancakes instead. DO NOT EXPECT TO HAVE A GOOD MEAL here. Bring your own food! But we all want to have a nice staycation, WE DON’T WANT TO COOK that’s why we didn’t bring ours, sad. Here’s what our coffee looks like. Couldn’t even mix the creamer because the coffee was BLOODY COLD.
