Detailed Reviews
Beautiful surroundings. Trees and plants everywhere. Spacious restaurant and beach front. Sunday mass is held at 11am in their garden. The room is good at first sight; it is modern. It has 2 queen size bed, 4 sets of toiletries (towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and bath soap). One good thing in the room is the power outlet for charging of your mobile phone and camera, too many! Downside would be the bathroom; it is always wet and dirty because the shower curtain is too short to separate the shower area. It lacks room slippers, refrigerator, and electric water pot. There is no complimentary bottled water, but you can request water from the restaurant. The room sound proofing is not good. I can hear outside noise like people walking, door closing, and people talking.
Meals served in the restaurant is relatively okay. Value is fair enough. Downside is they don't usually serve grilled dishes.
I recommend this resort for day trip only because it is not worth it to stay overnight due to poor accommodation.

Ambiance of the resort is nice but rooms need something that will match the beauty of the resort exteriors. Comfort room is very spacious and cozy but rooms do not have an appeal.
Breakfast service is terrible and expensive. Bread + 2 eggs will cost you PHP 150. The woman who serves food seems like she is not having a good day.I almost thought that she doesn't like her job at all. My friend requested his eggs scrambled but they served sunny side up. When asked about the eggs, she discouraged my friend by saying "So, we will still cook again for your scrambled eggs?" These small details made us felt that guests are not really important after all.
Some reviews said that the beach is sort of dirty (because of the body of water beside the resort). We still tried to take a bath on it and we were surprised on the itchiness we have felt after staying for 30 mins.
The people in Laiya are nice. We were able to buy buko ice candy from a student-girl and it was so delicious! Beers and soft drinks are sold for a reasonable price around the area as well.

The resort is I think near the edge of Batangas. It was really far.
Commute is not an option. I suggest that you guys get a van or bring your private vehicle since the road to the place is not really good.
The white sand is artificial. I only said that because when the water reaches the shore the sands become darker.
Also, the beach is muddy. I didn't swim long.
It was near Kabayan Reasort.
Resorts in Laiya are near each other so I suggest that you book the cheaper ones and swim by the beach of the high class resort.
The has family room which suits 10. It was affordable.
They also had buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner for 950php (rate as off April 2011).
The food was great. They had 2-3 viand per course and it was overflowing. My friends and I couldn't finish one meal cause it was plenty.
There are private boat men who allows tourists to rent their boat for 1000php 3 destinations.
I suggest that you do 2 destinations (The Cave and the Marine Sanctuary - one of the best snorkel area I've visitied)
Don't forget to bring bread! You'd feed bug colorful fish!

We booked 2 nights stay here because we were going to attend a wedding nearby. We drove all the way from Pasay and upon arrival the security guard at the front gate asked for an ID (per their policy is to leave a gov't issued ID for checkins) so I handed over my Driver's License from California, i hesistantly gave it but i had no choice. In exchange they gave me a laminated card which i kept in my bag. Up at the front desk they again asked for an ID so i asked the lady, how can other people checkin if they only have 1 ID and left it at the guard? she just smiled (well.. i guess?) I handed her my passport which is made a photocopy of it. We just left our luggages in our room which we found strongly smells of medicine for insects. Leaving the compound was weird the security guard ask for the laminated number from us back and we asked to let him give back my CA license but he said theyll give it to us upon checkout. So we were already misinformed with that because the following day another guard was asking for that laminated number and we told them that we already handed it over and he stated "that's impossible" my boyfriend got upset questioning him why its impossible if that was what his colleage told us. Long story short 2 guards keep knocking on our room asking for that freakin laminated number. I then couldnt keep it to myself and told them what do they think we'll do if we keep that laminated number?? If my CA license is more important. When we were checking out the other guard i guess their manager informed that that laminated number cost P500 to make. My bf and i looked at him shocked and said we were willing to pay for it in exchange of my CA ID. But he said "we'll take care of it this time, but next time you know our policy" He then handed over my CA ID finally. Like we're gonna go back there after that terrible experience!! Dont get me wrong the staff are verry helpful. But other than done NOPE!!!

Its just too pricey with a poor service. We paid 12k for a room for 5pax. First off, their welcome drink is serve in a disposable cup, that is not a good start. We arrived a bit a early so we stayed at their restaurant which is so dusty and you can tell that it is not well maintained. The beach is mediocre, it is rocky so bring a beach shoe. We had our lunch at their restaurant, the food is not worth its price. We ordered chopseuy, sisig and liempo. We were not able to finished it all because the kids didn't like it even though they were hungry. Then we went to our room it was not impressive. Their breakfast is so-so without free coffee/drinks. The only good thing about them is that they allow pets and thats it.

Our family enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and well maintained. Food was good, really. Simple but yum. What made this place even more special was the river which is just beside the resort. The beach was well maintained and there were life guards.

I was considering to book a reservation at this resort, but after sending an email to them and receiving a very impolite reply, I changed my mind.
Considering I am a potential client and they can't give polite customer replies, I am very much afraid the service they provide is just as disappointing.

we had our most terrible Holiday in this Resort. It is miss managed and The room rate of PHP 7,000 does not compliments the service and room itself. We had separate bathrooms from our rooms. There is no housekeeping who clean the room and bathroom. You have to sweep the floor, clean your bathroom and ask for refill of toilet paper. (for 7K that is BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!) The bed is sofa bed with hard lines in between plus mattress in the floor.
During the meal time as they required to get PHP 950 per head full board meal, they serve B,R,D very late already and worst is nothing left for us. We always need to ask for additional. We drink morning coffee in s tyro cup!!!! I could cry from these horrible trip,! and there are more.

stop fooling people by your beautiful pictures in your website. your place was so disappointing. we don't travel from manila to laiya, san juan, batangas, just to see dirty water and dirty place like yours, laiya white cove. we're here last sunday, nov. 25, 2012. i was so ashamed to myself that I was the one who recommended it to our balikbayan's. I don't care if I'm just the one who complained and other's don't.

We went to this place today. First the fee is too pricey. Its a 200 pesos per head for entrance fee for what?!. Parking is sooo far from the cottages and we were told that we can use a push cart to carry our things, but no bloody push carts anywhere, oh i think there were 2 push carts for everyone to use! Very filthy bathrooms with sand everywhere on the floor, ohhh 4 bloody shower rooms to accomodate everyone!! Noisy place!! Smelly bathroom!!( i think today smelled like cat pooh), couldnt find any trash bins near our cottages. No lifeguard at the beach and the most annoying thing was that boats kept on docking where people are swimming! I DO NOT BLOODY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
