Amazing vacation with my friends. Love the resort and the space all around. The beach is ok but the whole outdoor experience is wonderful. The sunsets are beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay there. The rooms are clean and nice. Food is good. Overall, great experience with my friends.
Great location for family bonding. We stayed their last month and really loved the character of the resort. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. The room is clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed the view of the sunset.
I had a wonderful experience spending my vacation at Cala Laiya. The resort had so many things to explore, you can go check out the beach or go the trails and play some archery. The rooms were really nice we stayed at their villa with our own pool. It was like we had a private party with my friends. The place is really nice and I highly recommend it.
We have been looking for a resort to take our dog for a much needed vacation. We heard from friends about Cala Laiya. We were able to finally visit Cala with our pet Daisy and she absolutely loved it! There was so much open space for her to run around and the best part was that they have a doggy menu specifically for your dog- never seen that. We arrived with a pet amenities in the room that included a cute pet bed, water bowl, a pet treat and a small note for Daisy. Other than that, the rooms were spacious, the food was surprisingly good (loved their beef tapa), and lots of space for your pets! Thank you Cala Laiya. The best resort for pets...thank you for pampering our little one. We can't wait to bring Daisy back.
My family and my kids had a superb time in this resort! It was our second time here and just like our first time, my kids enjoyed the space and all the activities especially the balsa raft. We checked out the archery too and my boys enjoyed it as well. The food is still really good. Probably the best Filipino food in Batangas. The service is good too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My favorite part of our trip is just relaxing in a nice beautiful resort, away from the city.
I'm browsing through the recent and thought most of these ones were there the same days we were. The place itself is beautiful - don't get me wrong about that. Looking for a little r&r - a good place to be. We went here to escape the stress from our jobs. It's our boss' treat to us. Food is average. Front desk staff are very helpful - Jessa and Jubert are true gems. Anyway - we were so wrong that we thought we were gonna escape the shouting.. stress and all... It was during dinner - when suddenly this drunken fellow (who eventually I found was the boss, manager, coo or whatever) was screaming at all the staff because his food hasn't been served yet. Everyone in the restaurant heard him and you could see that they were uncomfortable of the sight and noise. To think he works in hospitality??? What an arrogant guy. Really ruined the stay. We wanted to check out earlier because of that - but didn't want to waste what we paid and our leave. We just tried to ignore it but you can see how it affected the quality of service.. He got prioritized vs us - the actual guests. We still want to come back soon with our doggo - but we'll be sure to ask first if the boss is around. Dont wanna waste our time again.…
We booked a 2 bedroom casita for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary and we had a blast. The resort even surprised us with balloons and greetings in our room which was very thoughtful. We also booked dinner under the stars and it was very romantic and nicely decorated by the beach front. The food was delicious too. The next day we had so much fun with water activities like balsa raft and kayak. It's good to know that there is a nice resort like this just a few hours away from Manila. Thank you to all the friendly staff. We are planning our next staycation back there soon!
We celebrated my wife's birthday over the weekend and had an incredible time. They prepared a surprise birthday set up in the room which was a beautiful touch when we first arrived. There were so many activities that we were able to enjoy- archery, balsa raft, and several water activities. The team also prepared a special dinner for my wife and all of us under the stars and overlooking the ocean. The food was exceptional and the service was spot on. We had a terrific time and can't wait to go back. Thank you to Berlin, Carl, Sunnybel and the Pavillion team for being so kind and welcoming. Thank you Cala Laiya!
I visited Cala over the weekend for our first summer trip, haven't been here since we enjoyed our last stay before the xmas holidays...was surprised how the consistency remained the same, the food was great, service was still amazing and the place remained clean despite the on-going construction! We also enjoyed the new activities like the archery range and even had a chance to see their new Cala Villas! We booked there for later this summer! Cant wait to be back!
My friends and I haven't had a get together for so long and we decided to stay in Cala Laiya for 2 nights. It was the best decision, we had a great time. We were able to book massages and had it in the daybed. So relaxing. The food and the staff are so great as well. Wish the beach front was better but we did go to the ocean and rode the balsa raft for the first time and we had such a fun time. The rooms were also very nice. We would definitely go back. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
