This place is amazing, from the security guard to the check in staff and the pool bar and restaurant no complaints. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great relaxing time. The pools are great and from small kids to adults. We will be back for sure. The
food buffet was great lots of choices and great taste.

For us, our stay at La Prima Wing is definitely the best! We indeed felt the luxury - from the world class service of all the staff, our room - La Prima double and single (really exceeded my expectation!), the view, the pool, food, and almost everything! We will surely visit again and will bring our clan here! Worth the travel time and money spent! Highly recommended! We love Acuatico!!!!

Customer service is definitely 5 stars. Everyone was friendly, accomodating and fast. The room rate came with breakfast and dinner buffets. OK food choices . well worth the money you spend. The only complain I have which is very minor is the shower. Very very small. We stayed at the casa b beach front.

Our company booked a day tour at Acuatico and we were completely satisfied. We were 15 in all and the Manila office suggested we occupy a function room for our things. Upon arrival, we were given welcome drinks of gulaman. A day trip includes use of the resort facilities and lunch and afternoon snacks. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist. Some went on the boatride for snorkeling, others were in the game room and we tried the spa for whole body massage. Because we could not have enough, I requested if we could stay a little longer and they obliged. Even if a bit pricey, it was worth it.

Perhaps, because of the recommendations of my friends and nice website photos, I really expected much from Acuatico. I did not mind paying Php6K per night for a poolside room, with only free buffet breakfasts (and everything else, you have to pay), even if I know that the rate is kind of steep considering that it's just a resort in Batangas and the beach water is not exactly that clear and the sand not fine at all.

I was really sold on the fact that it has a nice infinity pool and the photos of the rooms look really nice and above the usual quality of nearby resorts like La Luz, Palm Beach and Virgin Beach. Well... that's what I thought!

When we got there, we were warmly greeted by a friendly male staff and explained our room location, food services, etc. We were then escorted to our room and was given our set of keys.

When I entered the room (Infinity Room - Poolside), I was surprised that it was so TINY. I mean we literally can't walk side by side on the tiny hallway or on the bed side because everything is just soooo cramped. And imagine my HORROR when I checked out the bathroom and saw that it was so little... that my elbows were already touching the walls when I shampooed my hair... my forehead was literally touching the walls when I sat on the toilet bowl. It was THAT cramped.

I immediately brought this to the attention of the supervisor but he admitted himself that it was really "kind of" small, and was very apologetic. I asked if there were other options for us, I was even willing to pay extra just so we can transfer... but it was really fully booked that weekend. We had no choice but to endure 2 nights with that kind of accommodation.

The only thing that we were thankful is that at least the food tasted yummy. Although for the price we paid, I told the supervisor that they could have just included the meals so as to compensate for the poor architectural planning of the rooms. There were so many spaces available actually that will make the room bigger but obviously the designer chose to prioritize aesthetics rather than convenience. I am no professional architect but I am well traveled and have been to different types of hotel, and I must say this one is really really bad. (It even made me create a TRIP ADVISOR account so I can warn prospects of what to expect!)

But I also will commend the type of linens they used, it was of good quality and at least when we turned off the lights and didn't get to see that we are in a tiny room, my sleep quality was good.

So, just to give the resort a chance to justify itself, I asked other guests if it was okay that we take a peek inside their rooms. I was just too curious if these guests were also suffering the same inconvenience like we do. I checked out the "honeymoon suite". My expectations was kind of high again since it was expensive and it was suppose to be a premier room.... So when the couple agreed for us to check it out, I was surprised that it was only a LITTLE bigger than ours. Haaayyy.... disappointing.

So I don't know, until now, Im baffled by all the wonderful reviews for this resort. It is over rated, over priced. I felt robbed off my money. Or maybe I just expected too much? But who wouldn't for the price that I paid, right? It's just too much for a room that cramped. I almost didnt want to go back to our room and just stay by the bar or at the poolside if only not to be reminded of what I signed up for.

Sorry, but I'm really not going back. Im really trying to look for good reasons to go back... maybe for the food, maybe for the infinity pool... NO, I've had better.

Oh... and PS: Housekeeping is bad too. They don't clean that well, the glasses used for the welcome drinks stayed at the dresser the whole time we were there even if we requested that they take out all the dirty utensils. The ice bucket was also left there even after we used it already.

I have no idea what everyone is raving about. This is one perfect example when the internet photos and reviews DO NOT MATCH the actual experience.
Very deceiving website raises expectations. But unfortunately, the reality disappoints.

We booked the 3-bedroom Estancia suite, for P 21,000 a night - that is approximately usd 450. One would expect a good quality room for that price. Instead, we felt very shortchanged. First of all, there is only a tiny masters bedroom that is separated by a door. The 2nd bedroom has a folding divider. And the 3rd bedroom/queen bed is separated from the living room by a curtain!!

The living room that looks nice on the website is probably no more than 5 or 10sqm - i am not good with sizes, but this living room was TINY. THE WORST PART IS THE "3BEDROOM" SUITE HAS ONE BATHROOM!! They tell you 2 bathrooms. BUT NO - IT HAS ONE BATHROOM WITH 2 STALLS. 2 TINY TOILET STALLS, 2 TINY SHOWER STALLS. There is no way 2 people can be in that bathroom together. Horrible. Cheap stuff. All the fixtures, glass aluminum doors in the bathroom are all CHEAP HORRIBLE STUFF.

The pools were okay. The beach was too small. Service was good. Food was good - you could have a so-so buffet, but everything we ordered ala carte was served hot and tasted good.

On the whole, Acuatico is OVERPRICED. Not worth the drive, the time, and certainly NOT WORTH THE MONEY SPENT. Go elsewhere.

Their presentation of the place in their website can be deceiving. And looking at how they priced their properties, well, you would think they would provide a healthy space for their guests. We were a big group when we travelled so we booked a few rooms. Those rooms were so small, only the bed could fit and a space for 1 person to walk around the bed. So if they say for 2 persons, it is literally only for 2 persons, don't expect a 3rd bed to fit in there. They don't even have a mini-ref because that would really be too much already. This place is way overpriced. It states free use of sports activities and had pedal boat and kayaking as example but upon checking those are the only sports activities that are free. Motor boats and Banana boats are not. The spread for the price of the buffet only had 1 soup, 2-3 viands and 2-3 deserts plus it wouldn't even pass an average for the taste. At dinner, they served us bad eggs. Ala carte orders of sandwiches and noodles took too long. But since there's no other nearby place to eat out unless you go to the next hotel, we didn't have a choice.

The pool is nice though. I guess that's why they have plenty of pictures of their pool, that's the only thing that was ok.

We stayed at their family suite wd 2small rooms & paid 24k for 2nyts. It was very disappointing. VERY small for that price with a COMMON tiny little toilet & bath that i cant even spread my arms.small cabinet(cant even hang ur clothes) that bumps your knees evrytime u pass by your bed bcz of the tiny space between them.
U call it family suite? Wev spent same with other resort hotels but worthy of the spacious room, cabinets and bathrooms. Definitely wont go back here. There are other resorts nearby which offers the same view and food(like Palm beach resort hotel-few mtrs away) but not as disappointing as how they would call it luxurious acuatico?! Better spend in othr 5star hotels, more worthy than this one.
