Fantastic location with wonderful views out to the Tasman sea. We stayed two nights & had dinner wt the restaurant both nights. Can recommend the burger. Friendly & good staff. Very laid back place & was good to stay somewhere remote. Close to Pancake Rocks & other walks.

We stayed a night here after being on the TranzAlpine from Christchurch to Greymouth We had a seafront room in the main building and everything was just fine Dinner and breakfast were both very good Can highly recommend this as a base for seeing the Punakaiki Blow Holes which are amazing - we were lucky to be there on a day with particularly rough seas !

We only stayed here for a night but it was nice with pretty views. We stayed in the upper apartments, which I recommend. We felt surrounded by lush forests with a pretty view of the ocean. The room was spacious and modern. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was a little expensive and subpar, but was on the beach so again, the views were worth it.

Loved my overnight stay here. Hotel is right on beach and has plenty of parking. Travelling with friends, some had garden view rooms and some ocean view rooms. Ocean view rooms are elevated and have lovely views but parking is not close to room and walk down steps to reception and restaurant. On a wet night this was not so good. Garden view rooms still see the ocean and can park at door. Drinks in the lounge by the fire and dinner in restaurant were just great. Can highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights in a sea view room (well worth it). This property is in a great location, right on the beach and set in beautiful grounds, with lovely plantings. We loved having a glass of wine outside watching the sunset. Also enjoyed our coffee on the deck each morning. Great food (the beef cheek gnocchi a particular favourite with us both). We also appreciated the warm hospitality and enjoyed our conversations with Brenda and Makareta. Having driven past this place many times, it was a real treat to finally stay here.
