Detailed Reviews
We had many good memories on this resort, we visit every year but our visit this year (May 2017) wasn't that good. We enjoyed the beach of course. However the place, the maintenance of the place, is falling apart. The CR for public used within the resort is almost unusable and creepy. The staffs are not accommodating but good thing is that the place is secured. We left our bags in the table and just cover it with our towels and scarfs so can all swim and nothing is lost. :) I hope the place we'll be renovated since they have may visitors yearly and can acquire more if properly managed. You can easily go here if by private cars, but if you're commuting I think you can ride tricycle passing on the street if you have many things. and same if you're on your way back. Just ask on the staff since they are just living around the area.

Better to use other rooms, stay away from the old hotel. The resort is understaffed. There was no water in the "hotel" restroom. Foul odor coming from the bathroom with black toilet bown. Was to cut the trip short, good thing there were clean rooms that became available to next day. Overall it is ok. Beach is 2 minute walk from the rooms. Not too swimmable in the afternoon due to high tidal waves.

If you want a nice dive in the see and a swim in the pool it's a good place, also the sheads are ok. However this is not a "fantastic" place, viewability in the water is rather limited. There are nicer places in the enviroment.
For a swim, pic nic and inexpensive outing with the family it should just do it!

It really is sad to see this place go to waste. We have very fond memories of this once accredited, government-owned resort. There was a time when their grass was green and well kept, their guards busy taking their rounds and the place was beaming with sounds of life. There was none of those when we visited. The presidential suite has seen its better days, the carpet ragged and old. No life guard on watch. Sad, since the last time we were there in 2011, I had to save a boy who drowned in their pool. The bathroom was a scary place to be in, the water closet, foul. No wifi, no cable TV, no life.
The beach area was fairly clean and the waves not that strong. Although the water was not that clear, it was quite alright to swim in. Still hoping that someday with the right management, this resort can get back on its feet again. Then and only then will we be back.
