This is a wonderful small holiday complex which is relaxing and has great food and drink. We stayed here for a week all inclusive at the beginning of July and was just what we wanted. We travelled as a couple with a 3 year old and loved how quiet it was but with enough to do to keep ourselves and more importantly our little one entertained. Food was of a very high standard and although not a lot of choice this was made up by the quality which was almost as good as 5 star resorts we have stayed at. Drinks were also very good and unlike other all inclusives beer (Estrella) was served in pint glasses. Cocktails also very good and you could ask for items not on the menu which would be made for you. Snacks were good but no hot dogs on our stay as per description. Disappointingly there was no daytime entertainment and I had to ask on a few days for music to be put on to give a bit of atmosphere which was accommodated. There was only 1 night of evening entertainment on our visit and no kids club/music but there is a park and we met a great couple who helped entertain our little man. Unfortunately the supermarket on site is now shut down but the beach and shops are only 5 minutes walk away. Pool was lovely and a good temperature. Rooms were cleaned daily and had a great pool view. The staff are all superb and special thanks to Miguel and Daniel who were always friendly. This resort is also very close transfer wise to the airport and so for us with a small child it was a great location. If you want a relaxing holiday then you will love this place.…
Absolutely loved this place staff were very friendly and helpful food was nice pool was good apartment was clean and tidy fresh towels every day kids loved it 2 lovely beach only 5 minute walk had a lovely family holiday will be coming again
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with our three children (6, 3 and <1) in August 2019. The hotel is clean and well kept, our apartment did have ants on arrival although nothing a couple of ant traps from the local supermarket didn't solve. The apartments are basic but absolutely fine for a family beach holiday, we were all-inclusive so didn't cook in the kitchen which may be limited if self catering. The beds are all comfortable although the apartment comes with two twin rooms which is a minor annoyance for a family compared to a twin and a double. The pool area worked very well as it's gently sloping so lots of space that small children can play. Our kids loved it and spent hours on end in the water. Punta Prima beach is small but very nice with clean white sand, when we stayed it was flagged as having jellyfish in the water on most days so staying somewhere with a decent pool is important. There are plenty of sun loungers although you get the usual people who get up at 8am to put towels out on beds they have no intention of using until the afternoon. Ideally the hotel would have a policy to remove these but they don't so in very high season you may struggle if arriving at the pool too late. The food in the all inclusive was excellent and the staff fantastic throughout. Our fussy 3 year old ate every day without any problems and we found that there was lots of adult choice. The outside area of the restaurant is a bit tired and could do with refurbishment but it looks out over the children's playground which is helpful. Overall we had a really good holiday here and would recommend for families with small children. For couples or families with teenagers it might be a bit limited and you'd probably be better in a resort with more going on.…
Booked this holiday as the price was really good. While on route to the hotel I strayers to be a little wary as it cost so little, but once we arrived all worries were put to bed. Hotel was clean, food was good and the staff were excellent. Aaron from the entertainment team got everyone involved which aided in getting everyone to know each other which made the trip even better. Met so many nice people in the hotel and hope to return in 2020. Thanks for a good relaxing holiday.
Stayed here for a week in October 19. The hotel is a basic budget hotel and is very tired and in need of some updating. There was no kids club available when we went (we weren’t informed of this prior to our arrival) and the kids disco started at 20:30hrs so it was really late for young ones. We didn’t take the all inclusive option as we like to go out and find places so plumped for the breakfast only option. Went along the first morning and didn’t go back as the food was poor. We thought this was probably a one of so payed for lunch in the hotel one day and that was every bit as bad so I was glad we hadn’t chosen all inclusive. If your self catering the facilities in the room are quite poor. There’s very few kitchen accessories. No toaster, no wine glasses which I fully expected to be present. There’s no way this place is any higher than 3 stars and even that would be a push. The pool is excellent and the staff are very good. It’s clean and in a good location but if you like a bit more it’s perhaps not for you.…
