Our stay was comfortable, staff were very responsive and helpful. The location is strategic, near government offices, near the airport, and eating places. We enjoyed our stay. I only wish we were given the complimentary toiletries right away and that I did not have to ask for it on our second day.

My review to hotel camila 2 will be the somehow opposite of what i posted in hotel camila - pagadian..you will be greeted by their staff and manong guard..if they will see their guests along the hallway, at the stairs, the lobby and pool area, they are very attentive in sAying good morning, afternoon and evening with a genuine smile. For the physical appearance of the hotel, its more modern than in pagadian, camila is glowing at night because of the installed lighting effects system..the lobby is not that huge but, i felt enough space (the ventilation is excellent as well as the natural light coming outside). They have elevator, but since I am on the 2nd floor I opted to use the stair. At the 2nd floor, there is a common balcony where you can have a view of the pool and the garden(?). In my room (rear of the hotel) it has sufficient space (two single beds), has a great view of the pool, safety box is present and functioning, adequate outlet on the bedside table, LED tv (few channelS), they have a coffee table where you can read or do some reports as well as taking your dinner and breakfast if you want (facing the glass window), refrigerator with 2 bottled water (not free), drinking glasses and electric kettle filled with water (you can ask them to replace the water daily). Their staff is also attentive to make-up my room..for the food, maybe need to improve serving Time( its better to call them earlier to prepare your food).my all time favorite is the sunburst chicken because of its huge and yummy serving (its also budget friendly, 3 chicken with fries and rice), chiken mami and what food disappointed me is the potato sAlad (just ask them if the potatoes were fresh or frozen kept in the freezer). Huge space at the back with a clean pool (well maintained) there is also another restaurant beside owned by camila but we did not try and excellent location. Downside -free breakfast is not included -no complimentary drinks/water

I stay in Camila 2 every time I'm in Dipolog City because of it's distance to work. It's location is also convenient and not so near the noisy of the streets. The rooms are spacious. The lightning though needs to be improve though. It's a bit dark to make reports with only two lights.

Hotel Camila 2 is accesible along the highway and close to the famous Montanos sardines. The frontage has a nice lighting at night. The rooms are clean and has comfortable beddings. There is also a mickey mouse- shaped pool. Credit cards are accepted here. Room tip: choose rooms on the pool side to avoid too much noise from passing vehicles.

Staff very friendly and helpful This was a third party booking but hotel was unable to accept third party credit card so cash had to be transferred via Western Union for room and breakfast. Client states the hotel staff were obliging but quality fell short of other local hotels in which she has stayed recently. Even so, this is a hotel where anyone can stay and it offers much, although a little noisy with animals all around.

I do not get the room interior scheme. Why so dark? Wall color is dark. Not enough light fixtures. Room feels like one of those in places of ill-repute but it was comfortable though. Service is ok, restaurant food is yummy but staff are inattentive and more concerned with chit chat than service. They couldn't get orders right, and didn't know squat about the items in the menu. Price is reasonable, and we had free transpo to the airport. Wouldn't mind coming back.

Pros: check in was a breeze, the staff were attentive (they even arranged for our pickup from another hotel), the room was spacious, a safe is provided, cable tv, several outlets around the room, free breakfast, fast wifi Cons: intermittent brownouts, the hotel is not in the city proper, the free breakfast wasn't yummy, the receptionist mistakenly (?!) charged us double for the extra breakfast and ironing fee.

Hotel Camila 2 is the newest, if not the most luxurious hotel, in Dipolog City. The rooms are large and clean, but the comfort rooms (bathrooms) are a bit on the small side. I stayed in a Superior room for 1500 Php per night. The room had a double and a twin bed, air conditioning, a 21" color TV w/cable, a mini fridge, and a balcony. In my room, the air conditioner was located over the door to the balcony. It had to be operated by a remote control, and was a little noisy. The Superior and Business class rooms are located on the quieter, back of the hotel, away from the road. Their balconies overlook the hotel's yard and swimming pool, with views of Mount Linabo. The Superior an Business Class rooms have the same floorplan and setup, with a few notable differences. The Business Class rooms are located on the upper floors, feature indoor/outdoor carpeting in place of vinyl tile floors, and the shower is replaced with a small tub/shower. For me, I couldn't see spending an extra 480 Php per night for these features. The staff was pleasant and friendly. They were always eager to greet you with a smile. Just be careful if you need to have your laundry done. My fiancée convinced me to let the hotel do my wash. Since they don't have an electric dryer, this turned into a three day affair. Line drying in the humid, and often rainy, Philippines can be risky. One of my new shirts came back destroyed. I initially thought that they had ruined it in the washing machine, or by hand laundering it. The staff decided that rats must have chewed on it, and assumed I would understand that this was an implied risk. Eventually, they agreed to repay me my purchase cost. At the Top Plaza Hotel, my clothes were sent out to a professional laundry, arrived back the next morning, and cost about a third as much. The hotel's lobby and hallways are not air conditioned. Only the rooms and restaurant are climate controlled. The Turnpike restaurant is reasonably priced by American standards, but like any hotel establishment, a bit pricey compared to local eateries. The food is basic, with few pretensions. On the weekend, live music is often featured. Free WiFi is available in the restaurant, and can also be accessed from the adjoining lobby. One annoying feature, in order to save energy, the room's power is shut off anytime the room key is removed from its holder. The hotel did not bother to wire a separate circuit for the mini-fridge, so it is shut down every time you leave the room. This renders the refrigerator virtually useless. This hotel is about 2 km from the city's center. Motorcabs (motorcycles with attached 3-4 person covered sidecars) are easily flagged down, and the staff is ready to assist with hailing one. Motorcabs into the city cost 7 Php per person. The hotel's location is fairly quiet and serene, but makes walking around town a bit difficult. I ended up changing hotels to one that was more centrally located. Staying at the Camila 2 makes walking a less viable option, and forces you to use motorcabs.. Hotel Camila 2 is one of the few hotels in Dipolog with a swimming pool. I never got the chance to use it, but it looked clean, and families with children will find this a big plus. The hotel's back yard is also available for functions and wedding receptions. The Hotel Camila 2 is a pleasant place to stay, but I personally preferred the location and amenities offered at the Top Plaza Hotel. The Top Plaza is a few blocks from Dipolog Boulevard/Seawall and a much easier walk to all the best shopping. If you value your quiet, and would enjoy a swimming pool, I can recommend staying at Camila 2. It is one of the top three of four hotels in Dipolog, but may be a bit inconveniently located for some travelers.
