Stayed here for two nights recently having tried a couple of other hotels in the city. The central location opposite Dipolog's largest mall is good and there is adequate on site parking. Front Desk staff were competent and not inclined to snigger when a foreigner checked in with his wife, baby and mother in law in tow. There was a nice, cosy coffee bar by reception and the entrance to the indoor pool and snack bar. Unfortunately, even though the pool was closed for cleaning that day there was deafening music enough to shake the wax from your ears. A lift sped us up to the 4th floor. The two rooms were clean and brightly painted. Facilities were good with a 32 inch flatscreen TV balcony and a nice clean bathroom, although no tub. Room service food was incredibly good value, perhaps because of the supermarket across the road. Breakfast was rather miserly but free and was served at the rooftop restaurant/viewing deck with breathtaking views of the coast and city. However the staff here seemed to be in competition with the pool to see who could produce the loudest music. Totally inappropriate at 6.30 in the morning. Overall you would have to conclude that the hotel is a gem ....clean, modern, great value, excellent staff and that roof deck.

Stayed here for 8 days. Booked the deluxe on agoda as it was cheaper than walk in price. You get a free breakfast with your booking. The restaurant is on the 6th floor and has a nice view on the bay. The pool is nice and is rarely used. The room is pretty nice and we got a king sized bed. The room had reliable wifi and hot water. It is close to the biggest mall in dipolog but when i say big think small town big but it does have a supermarket. The staff at the hotel are very nice and very helpful. All and all a very good stay at a very comfortable hotel. The price is very fair and very comfortable.

The hotel room (Rm 401) is actually better than the photos show. Bathroom is very clean. Room is well maintained. The hotel is either new or newly renovated. Price is neither cheap nor expensive. Set breakfast is included with the room charge, and served on the 6th floor. No airport-hotel transfers were done, although there is a hotel van parked in front. It is a PHP30 tricycle ride per person from the airport (the local law caps the maximum chargeable amount to protect visitors from overcharging)
The strange thing about this hotel is related to their indoor pool. 1. It is in a big cave-like room with a karaoke area for a pool deck. (Now imagine a group of out-of-tune & drunk men leering at your girlfriend in a bikini.) 2. They force you to rent pool towels for PHP50. You can't use the room towels, and you can't use your personal towel if you had one. There is a dearth of things to do in Dipolog after 8pm, yet no one used the pool. Go figure.
The hotel is worth it. As I said, it actually looks better than the pictures in Agoda show.

Well, to begin with it was the worst experience I ever had. We arrived at the Hotel, that was fine to begin with, then everything went down hill. First power black outs, then no water, when asked the receptionist what happen to water, the receptionist said water pump broke down and getting repair,I said I want to use the toilet? the receptionist said can you wait to 100am, i said can you wait to 100am? elevator broke down. I wasn't allowed have cups to make coffee or tea as they want you to buy there terrible coffee, taste like burnt trees. Breakfast buffet if you call it no western food.Sorry I had a bad experience with this hotel,I will never come back again.

very uncomfortable foam beds. noisy roosters under my balcony and 4am morning wake ups. No wifi in the room. no bar open after 10pm and no room service. indoor swimming pool with 50pesos towel. ridiciluous!

The sea view hotel is a cheap hotel starting from 30 dollars new Zealand for that u get a queen size bed or to singles bed each room has a jug shower tolet flat screen TV Air con and it's own private balcony you also get completely breakfest at no extra cost.their is a restore bar and a swimming pool .also they have a free shuttle bus to airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaners overall I highly recommend this hotel to stay in.and I want to say thank you to the lady's at the front desk for your help and greetings every time I walked into the hotel keep up the good work. This hotel is good and safe for over sea,s travelers

It's near the shopping mall. The room is clean and adequate.
Breakfast was okay. I arrived late one time, around 9AM, but the buffet breakfast won't close until 10AM. There is no longer any food left in the chafing dishes. Hotel occupants must've had their breakfast early and wiped the food out. But the chefs and the waiters cooked some breakfast dishes especially for me. I was planning to have just coffee and bread since there is nothing left. But, hey, I wouldn't say no to the food :)
It isn't the best hotel but it's enough for one or two days business trip.

The room was very spacious, probably a bit dark if we are being honest. Beds were good, shower and bathroom fine. Wifi was poor as could only be accessed via the bathroom as the beds were too far from the modem. Enclosed balcony wasn't particularly inviting.
Breakfast buffet was average, the rooftop meal area where it was served wasn't the most luxurious but had a good view.
Good location in the middle of town.

We stayed in this hotel for a night. This hotel is very convenient as it just opposite side of the shopping mall and close to the bus terminal. Hotel receptionists are very accommodating. Room is clean and spacious enough for us a couple.

Catching an early morning flight, living some distance from the airport, the only real option is to stay with my "friends" at the Sea View. I do not use the word lightly as everyone welcomes with a huge smile and warm greating. Cathy, Daisy, Weng and the others seem to take an interest in each guests stay. If you are having to fly PAL out of Dipolog, I strongly suggest staying at the hotel and riding the complimentary shuttle to the airport. The hotel cost is reasonable and a potential problem is eliminated.
