I would really like to start on a positive the managers are very nice. The location is beautiful, so close to the beach and if more money and effort was put into the hotel then it would be brilliant. Kos is a lovely island and we visited a lot of beaches 10/10. The sea in the Greek islands is beautiful and clear. Island tip- don’t book excursions/ rent car from the hotels as much cheaper in kardemena town. I personally would not return to this hotel after we spent a week here in August as a family. Definitely a 2 star hotel. Do not go all inclusive! Worst food and selection available. Good job there was chips or the kids would have starved. Food very repetitive and very little choice, 2 counters for food and one for salad which was from the lunchtime. Desert counter consisted of watermelon and the same cake that we did try and was dreadful. Drinks for us who weren’t drinking alcohol was ok but the kitchen staff who shouted at us for filling our bottle with water so we didn’t dehydrate overnight. Not acceptable- if we are paying all inclusive it’s not much to ask to fill our water! For an apparantly 4 star hotel I would expect way more choice, better breakfast selection and deserts! Can I also say snacks are none existent, only saw watermelon on the last day at the bar! No ice cream anywhere btw! Room was a lovely size and had a pool view balcony. Cleanliness was only surface level. Under the bedside tables was very dusty and had dried up insects which I’m glad the girls didn’t spot. In the fridge there was clearly someone’s left over food with mold in it. Really hard to get a cleaner to change the sheets/ towels- definitely not daily as other reviews would suggest. At best every 3 days. When we did get clean sheets we also unfortunately had money taken from the girls room. Which is tbf our own fault for not utilising the safe as it is located in main reception not in the rooms but also upsetting as it was their spending money. I do agree the pool does have an unusual green tinge to it but we didn’t get ill and it was nice to be able to always get a sunbed in the lovely weather. To end on a high the island of Kos is lovely and would defo come again but to a different hotel. The excursions were lovely, we especially enjoyed the boat trip and the water park! Defo recommend renting a car and drive to the other side of the island my fave beach was Marmari ❤️

We were looking for a restful holiday and due to circumstances we could only go in October. This hotel was ideal. It was close of season and we were the last guests there. We were made welcome and as there were few guests we found it like a family setting. We got on very well with Nikos and Denise, very friendly and we did feel at home. As was close of season we were offered a move to another hotel which was also a good hotel but after visiting it, although more facilities and busier- hence noisy, we preferred Evripidis. I cannot understand the negative reviews as, we found, clean rooms, very comfortable beds, clean pool and surrounding area, clean bright dining area, food that was well cooked and had a very homely feel. We were asked what we wanted to eat and we’re not disappointed. This may sound over the top but we felt at home. The most relaxing holiday we have had in years. Read the aims of the hotel. It fulfilled them all. Nikos and Denise - Thank you. Nikos plays a mean guitar and has a good singing voice. Denise does a lot around the hotel but was always ready for a chat. Recommend a trip to Nyrios (can’t remember spelling) to see the volcanic crater. Kos town has a fascinating history and well worth a visit or two. If you like walking, this hotel is ideal. Walk to Kardamena 45mins max, to the mountain area near the hotel or just use the shuttle bus (€1.80) . TAKE BEACH SHOES; The rocky shore makes it difficult to get into the sea. In conclusion, as you will guess, Excellent!

Any positive reviews must be written by staff. It is that bad!!! Not four star. Two at best. Abandoned toilet by children’s play area with exposed excrement. Bins never emptied. Trip hazards on paths. Needs a cash injection big time. Owner shouts at staff Your room key opens all other doors! We have video evidence of this. Poor quality food. Nothing for vegetarians or intolerances Poor quality alcohol choice. Not clean Smell of sewage No entertainment No snacks Not as described in brochure Poor room service. Building site. Cow dung on grounds I could honestly go on and on. We have complained and told love holidays about the safety issues. They dont care and still advertise this hotel. Please do not book!! Absolute disgrace.

If you expect luxury and caviars for dinner then look elsewhere. If you want a quiet hotel and beautiful island to explore then book this hotel. No need to wake up 6am to put towels on sunbed as there is plenty by the pool and beach. Beach is 2 mins down the road. There is supermarket in the hotel where you can buy essentials and Kardamena is 3km away. Now eiter you walk 40mins , or take a bus for 1.80 eur or taxi 5eur or rent a scooter which I highly recommend and you can explore all the long as there is so much to see. Rooms are basic and towels changed every day. Food was perfect for us( we are not fussy and we didn't put on wait so big bonus) yes there could be more fruits on offer but wasn't a big deal for us. We spent a lot of time outside the hotel but when we were around we were more then happy. Will be definitely returning as we liked Evripidis and Kos really much. Best time in Greece so far. Thank you for having us.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. This is lucky if it was a 2 star hotel. Quite frankly, how love holidays has the audacity to rate it a 4 star is unbelievable. On arrival we were taken to our room. The bathroom was disgusting. A lot of human feces in the toilet, not flushed. Hair in plug holes. Dirty bath mats. Clearly not been attended to. We were moved but it really did upset me. The food I would not serve to animals. I've added photos of what it looked like, meat which was old. Cold pasta and chips. Pasta clumped together. Health and safety risk. There was a fly swimming around in one of the dishes. In fact we ate out every day otherwise we wouldn't have eaten. I bought dishes, spoons and cereal so we could have breakfast in our room and then just go for a cup of tea. There is rubbish strung everywhere and on one occasion found a rusty shopping trolley near my room. Bins full of rubbish. The cleaners gathered outside our room each evening like it was their social club. No entertainment apart from the owner on a guitar twice a week. Love holidays state: snack bar - there isn't one, table tennis - there isn't one, pool table - it's just got a lot of rubbish on it and unable to be used, no diving, no fishing as stated on website. There is rubbish all over the place, in what love holidays say the gardens. Dangerous ladders outside rooms at the back. Building materials can be accessed by customers. This hotel needs shutting and money spent on it to significantly improve it before someone has an accident or falls ill. There just doesn't seem to be any staff. The owners wife seems to do everything. I spent £3500 on a weeks holiday for my family and I feel I have wasted my money. Money I'll never red get back.

We had the misfortune of staying here last week due to our flight to LGW being cancelled on the 24th. This hotel was listed as 4 star on the booking.com website which was sent via Easyjet as urgent accommodation was needed. We arrived having booked a family room ( 3 bed's ) to a night porter who seemed to have no idea we were coming. He eventually got the hotel manager , Nikos to assist. He was friendly despite it being late at night and offered to take us up to the room. On entering the room , it was clearly basic and instantly obvious there were only 2 beds. An extra bed was brought in from another room and placed next to the sink and fridge in what appeared to be an non-airconditioned kitchen area . This really was as good as it got as when we awoke in the morning ( shouting from the kitchen staff below us before 6 am ) it became clearly obvious this was no way a 4 star hotel. I will give an honest review on our 3 night stay ( we booked an paid for 4 but I did not want to stay any longer ) The Good - Location is lovely , close to a rocky but very pleasant beach - Close to Kos and Kardamena The Bad - Both pools had a green tinge to them, I do not suspect they have been properly maintained - The food is not up to standard of a 4 star hotel . I have seen reviews stating what a great selection there was , I beg to differ. - The staff in the restaurant looked incredibly unhappy on each occasion we visited . - The bathroom in our room ( no.14) was not clean , the toilet did not flush properly and the shower holder was broken. - The standard of house keeping was unacceptable. I only saw cups being changed and the bins being emptied. Not once was our floors swept or moped during our stay. -Their is litter strewn amongst the grounds of our hotel. Our balcony view consisted of stunning mountains behind us but was tainted by broken pallets , litter , building material and even a kitchen knife in the grounds below. The pool area has a 'sun bed graveyard' which was nicely hidden behind some low level bushes. - Our balcony wooden railing had been secured with a few rusty screws and a piece of cardboard . This maintenance level was consistent throughout the hotel. - The hotel shop had very limited opening times and stock - Often the owner could be heard shouting at staff , this continued to outside the hotel grounds one morning when he unleashed a tirade on people sitting on a sunbed next to the beach. I am not sure whether they were staff or not but as a paying guest , this was not a pleasant watch. - Lastly , upon walking down the drive one morning we noticed an awful smell coming from the building next to the children's play area. Upon getting near the building it was clear inside was littered with human faeces all over the floor. Even more disturbing, the broken toilet outside full to the brim with human faces. It was a disgrace. In short , this hotel I understand used to be a pleasant stay a few years ago. It reeks of being abandoned now. We have photographic and video evidence of everything listed above as quite frankly our stay ruined what had been a fantastic 8 night break at the Grand Blue Beach Hotel only 20 mins down the road. That hotel states it is 5 star and certainly delivered.

We stayed 5 days at the hotel Evripides Village with my wife and my daughter , the hotel room was cleaned and spacious great view to the mountains really peaceful place ,really closed to the lovely sandy beach ,food was great lots of varieties. The bar staff were very friendly helpful 5***** five star. Beautifully garden has a wide variety of fruits trees and palm and plants ,the two sweming pool water was nice and clean. The owner Mr Nikos and his wife are really friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends in Madeira Portugal and my friend and colleagues in England. I Don't have any complaints only positive feedback about this hotel and amazing staff .I will return next time with my family. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and amazing holiday! Poor food, unhelpful moody owners and a disappointing basic bar area and basic drinks presentation. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff below management level were lovely. The owners really let the place down. There is a handy bus service to town. I rang the local taxi number about 30 times with no answer. Pool area is nice and beach is 2 mins walk away though heads up that beach is very VERY stoned would have been appreciated as it’s impossible to enter water in your bare feet and have a sea swim Overall if the owners changed from feeling we should be privileged staying there and had a sense that it was a privilege for them to have guests there it could be lovely. But the food the food .. please change the menu a few times and tell people what they are eating as nothing was labelled

Very friendly staff, nice food, large pool and large rooms. Lots of sun loungers, as well as some on the beach opposite. Bus station outside which can take you to the centre of Kardamaina. We only stayed for one night as our flight home was cancelled and it happened to be Greek night- there was music and some dancing, in which the staff got involved.

Do not go here! I am not sure who writes the reviews but they do not reflect the experience we had nor of those we we spoke too, it is extremely poor. Others as well as us had no idea who wrote the positive comments, but they are do not reflect this place advertised as a 4 star on the site we booked through. This is a 2 at the most. No hairdryer, no kettle?! No cleaner and poor, unsightly standard complex, so so disappointing. We booked all inclusive and couldn’t eat the food available. Aside from the sloppy unappealing limited choice of food. None of which is labelled so you are not sure what you are eating. A lot of stew looking dishes maybe hiding multiple issues, and apparently presented as dinner or lunch more than one day! The complex is a dumping ground for unfinished works and rubbish. This was photographed by my friend. The pool looks dirty and murky. We did not see it cleaned or any testing conducted during our stay. We certainly did not use it. In all my years it was the worse place I have stayed. There was no joyful greeting by the manger at the desk, no food as we arrived ten minutes after the lunch. The food was inedible, someone found a fly swimming in a stew. The cups are stained and unclean you have to find a clean one. The scrambled egg served daily is wet sloppy and tasteless. No fresh pastries and no appetising options available. The fresh fruit offered was brown cut up apple. We never had lunch as reported just as bad and we spent out time off site. We was told lunch often the night before leftovers it seemed. I cannot believe a chef is cooking this food! The sunbeds are old, worn stained and discoloured, The drinks on offer is total of about 5 cheap alcohol bottles. The coffee machine often ran out of milk. It was a constant request to report things needing filing or questioning why not in use, the fizzy drinks machine often lacked fizz or didn’t work. Due to lack of staff if you requested replacement it seems this was not a welcome suggestion or dine with efficiency. Never any acknowledgement or apology as you waited. The staff look unhappy and one day a girl was crying at breakfast. The manager was seen ripping into people verbally and shouting. The room was not cleaned nor the bedding once in our 4 days of stay. Cobwebs in the rooms above where you sleep and fluffy under beds. No change if sheets. The towels not changed. The bin emptied once on the third day. The beach beds are not fit for purpose. Bin not emptied once during our 5 days there. The toilet near the beach had a sheet or something in it, crumpled in the floor with what looked like excrement and toilet itself outside not fitted. I have a video I cannot upload. This was near the children’s playground. Everything was tired, aged and in general looked as depressed as the staff. Imagine what the hygiene may be like behind the scenes! There was some chicken disguarded in a pot and left there for 3 days as you exit the site on the path. We found out 2 days before leaving that the keys to each room basically unlock all doors! Other told us this. Therefore someone can access your room as you can others. We tested this and it appears true without testing very door we tested 3, A massive safety concern! I have never felt the need to pre warn and am certainly not someone who wants perfection. Nothing balanced the numerous negative issues except the lovely local town and beach. Please look elsewhere before booking. This is definitely not a 4 star accommodation. There is rubbish strewn around this site. Rusty shopping trolley, disused items from rooms, overgrown grass. Plants look like they have had enough. Furniture is poor quality. We spent all our time in the local town. From day until night. There is no entertainment in this place at all. The atmosphere was non existent. The owners and management need to seriously overhaul this place!
