We stayed here over the weekend of 3/24/18 for 1 night, our experienced was wonderful the best experienced I had with any hotel in the Island. And I have been frequently visiting Malapascua yearly. We arrived in the island earlier than the check in time, upon registering in the front desk we were informed that the room we booked online is close to an on going contraction so to avoid all the noise we were upgraded to an Ocean View Room. Very big room, very clean, the linens were clean, towels were changed daily. The staff are very attentive, interactive it seems like they are enjoying there job. Food was okay, we enjoyed our Saturday Night in the resort, they had a live band and it played until 1am so it was kinda noisy from our room but it was fine.. above all I highly recommend…

Excellent location for diving lover but not only. Few meters from the beach and in strategic position to reach all others site of Malapascua island. Staff very kind and friendly but also efficient always ready to help. The structure is nice and well cheeped and easy going, for sure I raccomand Hippocampus for stay in Malapascua. P.S. breakfasts really super delicious !

Food was perhaps the best on the island. It was our go to place to eat! After a stressful journey to the island, our greeting and welcome drink from the owner put the biggest smile on our faces. The live music nights were always fun. The staff were lovely. Diving experience was great. I honestly couldn't fault the place. They have it all! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Had a good stay at this place,the room was cute with the ocean view when you go out at the balcony...the breakast also was quite good specially right at the beach..just a little bit distracted with the noise at night and also in the mornings but no big deal..still had a good sleep and stay..;)

Loved staying at the Hippocampus resort Malapascua Philippines, right on the beach with pristine waters and clean blue waters. Our check in was warmly greeted by Nicolas and although we were early we were accommodated. We enjoyed the beers for a welcome drink! The resort is a divers paradise maintaining good luxurious as we as standard rooms. The ambience is easy going, casual and relaxing. The food is awesome with big portions keeping a balance of continental and Philippino cuisines on the menu. Of course I loved the place as an environmentalist as the resort promotes sustainable Tourism keeping in mind uplifting the local community and also composting with many other eco friendly aspects in place. My husband and I stayed for 4 days at the Hippocampus in November and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was surprisingly good, and the diving was amazing. Our guide, Pawex, knew very well each dive site and was very knowledgeable. Rooms are basic, but clean.

The mangers are the best i have come across ,so help full . I had a long plane delay in manila ,which meant that I would miss the local van and boat transfer,with very late notice Hippocampus beach resort arranged a Private transfer that was waiting for me on my arrival in cebu , Its also the best place to hang out after having an amazing day scuba diving ! can not wait to return ,
