This is where we stay for 2 days and room is clean, location is great, ambiance is peaceful because of near in bounty beach but all in all experience is great. They have mini bar and restaurant,you dont need to go anywhere. Just a little bit pricey on their drinks and food.

Hi there! Thanks for the great review about our rooms, location, ambiance, and the beach! We are sad to hear that you viewed our menu as too expensive - if you will compare us to other restaurants in the same location and same quality/service level, you will see we offer the same prices, but even better quality food and service :) We are actually one of (maybe the only) restaurants in the island who serve romaine lettuce, and not old iceburg lettuce. Our kitchen was overhauled in the last two years including a new menu from a very experienced chef and training our kitchen staff on different cooking methods. Our food is in the upper level of price on the island sure, but it's also in the upper level of quality and taste. We also offer buy one get one free cocktails using premium alcohol and ingredients from 4-7pm everyday which is unworldly prices for what you get. I know I would pay 15$ for a Mojito like that at home! ;) Anyhow, It's your preference where you choose to eat, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks and we hope to see you again!

This a a very peacful and quiet resort for those travellers enjoy a relaxing holiday. Room is clean and tidy with balcony, however you need to prepare your toiletries as they provide soap only. It can be understandable for environmental protection and I support this. Food is nice and they can arrange airport pick up for you, cost around 5000 peso including car and boat. It took around 3 hours from Cebu airport to the pier and around 1 hour boat trip to the resort. So be prepared for this. Everything will be well organized for you if you make prior arrangement with the resort.

A group of 7 of us stayed here for 4 nights on a short scuba diving trip. We booked through Devocean Divers. The rooms are basic and clean. The air-conditioning and fan are a bit noisy, but you'll probably need these to sleep. The bathroom was clean and functional (the electric shower worked well enough). Staff were very friendly and service level was great. On Saturday night they had excellent live music. Prices for the food and beverages were extremely reasonable. The pork chop was especially good. I'd be happy to stay at this place again given the same price point. Don't expect luxury, but for a dive this this was great. The staff were all very nice too.

From your description, it sounds like you were in one of our Standard AC rooms... these rooms feature window type AC and wall fans. Great place to enjoy Malapascua! Rooms are spacious and clean, upstairs you get also a big balcony! AC is good and quiet. Shower with enough space to shower (if you have been to Philippines you know what I mean). Staff is friendly and available. You get a Welcome drink when you arrive. If you ask they will place beach chairs for you. The in-house dive shop (Devocean) is competent, efficient and friendly! However be careful to the slight higher prices compared to the neighbours (they price matched when I asked!). The restaurant is also very good with nice food and cocktails: at the happy hour (4pm to 7pm) you get 2 for 1. They are somewhat overpriced, so only at the happy hour you get a fair price. Hi there! Thanks for your review - we are very happy you enjoyed your stay! Our bar and restaurant is definitely the mid-high range in the island, but that is for a reason... you get a beachfront location and view, you get great service, and we use quality ingredients and of course we make a mean cocktail! Same goes for our food! We are happy you enjoyed, none-the-less. Our service can sometimes be slow, yes, but that also goes back to the fact that everything is made fresh and with no short cuts... when you get your drink or your food, you see that it is really worth the extra couple mins wait :) Music nights are every Wednesday and Saturday, yes! It can be sometimes loud but we usually try to finish up around 11PM. We apologize if this was a disturbance to you!
