I booked Evolution as I was thinking of sparing myself from the hassle of booking a different dive operator and thought it'll be best to book both lodging and diving with them… NOT. Booked the first flight out of Cebu from Manila to reach Malapascua as early as possible thinking it'll be a good excuse to escape the hustle and...

My partner and I stayed in the Evolution Dive Resort for week of diving with Evolution. (Review of the diving on the diving trip advisor page) The rooms are simple but nice and very clean. We chose a delux room as we wanted aircon. Because we were on a diving holiday we don't need anything fancy when it comes to...

In comparasion to other resorts on the island the budget rooms are reasonable as in value for money. The aircon rooms are expensive, but it is an island! The staff are good and the restuarant serves decent food at reasonable prices. BUT! Probably the main reason to come her is the dive centre which is also at the resort. The...

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Evolution with a group of friends from Hong Kong. Although we were delayed by 4 hours, our transport to Malapascua was handled with ease. Considering the ride is 3 hrs by van and then a 30 minute boat ride, we were happy to pay the very reasonable price of roughly $25 USD per...

Having stayed in several other places on Malapascua, it was delight to try out Evolution for the first time. The owners Matt and David are super friendly, helpful and takes great care of their guests. The Craic House bar serves excellent food and even sports a wide selection of drinks including a very nice cider. On my last evening they...

We arranged a private transfer from Cebu to try to save a bit of time on a fairly short trip which worked out well. The taxi driver was efficient and (relatively) safe, and there was a private boat waiting for us at the pier. When we arrived, the reception staff were friendly and welcomed us etc, I'm sure you have...

Overall I can't fault the accommodation or dive facilities provided by this boutique resort. I've travelled to about 50 overseas destinations , and normally there is always a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant food is excellent. I would stay here again.

We found the place over marketed compare to what we found on site. On the top of that, our first dive being poorly managed we have decided to cut short our vacation by 5 nights on 7 initially planned.

We visited Malapascua three years ago and enjoyed it so much that we came back, dragging a few more friends with us! We are keen divers and love the variety of underwater seascapes that Malapascua offers...it's not just all thresher sharks (although they are definitely a key attraction)! Evolution really look after you making everything easy...your gear is transported to...
