Diving itself is fantastic, dive leader Brendan has a keen eye and does great work. Sadly the logistics around the diving is hopeless. Day 1 04:30 report to the dive shop and we did not leave the beach until 05:30. Not good enough, don’t care about the staff not arriving. Assured this is not normal we got caught out. Returned to the dive shop to hear disgusting verbal treatment of the local staff. Take the money provide the service. Day 2 09:00 report to the dive shop, we left the beach 10:00. Get on board to find no hot water for coffee, crew not interested and boiled water for the lunch break only. A day that goes for 6 hours should include food. Other companies provide fruit and lunch. Return from the dive then sit until the smaller boat comes out after 30 minutes. Take the money provide the service. Prices are the same across the island, select a company that provides better services. …

Nemos Dive Resort is in a fantastic location with wonderful, friendly staff. Cold beers always available at the bar, food delicious. Dave and Brendan in the Dive Centre made sure I saw all the great diving locations around the island including the famous Thresher Sharks. The pool was refreshing and the rooms were lovely and clean having just been renovated. Would highly recommend Nemos to anyone visiting Malapascua Island .
